But we had already had our taste buds in awe, so well they missed the higher expectations. But again NOTHING was wrong with them. Service was ok... but SLOW. Friendly... but SLOW!! They had a lady singing and playing the piano, she was entertaining however we were happy to not be in the main bar area, it got a little bit too loud and we had a little trouble visiting without being too loud. Definitely going back. Maybe when they get the gates of HELL CLOSED from this heat and sit out on the patio!!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and we scored a great table out on the patio--perfect for people-watching and soaking up the atmosphere. I had an Austrian Pinot Noir that was smooth and delicious, followed by an espresso martini. It was labeled "crème brûlée," though it didn't quite have that flavor, but still a solid martini made with real espresso. The standout dish, though, was the corn crème brûlée--absolutely amazing! The caramelized topping had that perfect shatter before you dive into the creamy, savory center. A definite must-try.

He personally showed up at our doorstep, made sure we had our dinner, and helped resolve all of the electronic ordering issues. That level of customer service is incredibly rare. Carl is amazing! And then we tasted the food--and somehow it matched the service. The entrée was fabulous. The combination of the protein, cheese, and pasta was delicious, but then came the bread and butter. Oh my goodness, the bread and butter! I normally avoid bread and eat very few carbs, but I ate every bit of it. The bread was wonderful, and the butter took it to another level. Everything was delicious, and nothing was left behind. Exceptional food paired with truly exceptional service.
