I can't say enough wonderful things about Angels Hospice. They took such incredible care of my grandmother during a very difficult time for our family. From the moment we connected with them, we felt supported, informed, and truly cared for. A special thank you to Megan, the manager,she is absolutely amazing. Her compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. She treated my grandmother with dignity, respect, and so much kindness. We hired Angels Hospice back in January 2025. While my mother was still able to get up and use her walker to go to the bathroom, they were great. But the last few weeks when I really needed their help, I wasn't shown how to do many things, including turning her from side to side. I ended up finding my own method to do that, that did not include a towel. We first had Lourdes who told me twice that my mother would be dead within a week. She lived 8 weeks past that. Having to pick a hospice for a loved one is such a daunting task. You want to make sure you are finding the absolute best. The moment I spoke with Megan on the phone, I knew I had found my people. She answered every question with such compassion and I didn't feel like she was rushing me at all. She was able to move mountains to help me get my Dad home within hours! Lourdes our nurse was unbelievable. She treated my Dad like he was her family. When my Dad passed Azzi the owner was the one who actually came to my home to set up transport. In those moments of chaos she was so calm and loving. She prayed with me and held me while I cried. Liar business owner i was disappointed never call back , talked rude I don't recommend this business at all

I'm so grateful to have Bri as my mom's aide during this difficult time. She is compassionate and caring toward both my mom and me. She does a much more thorough, efficient and gentle job of cleaning my mom than aides from other agencies. Cynthia is nurse who who gently and efficiently takes mom's vitals and answers any questions and address any concerns that I may have. You can tell that they do not feel that they are here just to collect a paycheck. I feel that mom is in great hands with Bri and Cynthia. They are truly Angels! read more

The rating of 5 stars goes to the Angels Hospice nurse who was our father's nurse, her name is Cynthia (don't know the last name) Cynthia is such a caring and helpful nurse. She is very knowledgeable in her field, and worked well with our dad in providing all she could to meet his needs, keeping him as comfortable as possible, as well as the needs of our family. During the whole time frame of her service/visits, she started out visiting once a week, and then towards the end twice a week, but was always available to answer questions at any time, and give the best advice that would help us and our dad. A very professional employee, who was able to read her patient very well, and worked very well with him and our entire family. Thru it all, and even in the end, where it could be a very difficult time for the family, she was very positive and always able to make our dad laugh and make us all laugh. We appreciate Cynthia so much for her care and compassion and we grew to love her like family. Thank you so much Cynthia! I was extremely satisfied with the care my mother received from Angels hospice. The nurses that my mom had were extremely caring and compassionate, they knew what they were doing, they knew the questions to ask, and they knew how to be discrete when discretion was required. I appreciate that win the end was near, that I was given constant instruction on what to do, what to expect, and encouragement to call constantly as much as I needed. Angels Hospice was really professional and supportive in helping care for my mother the last several weeks of her life. They educated us and explained the whole process very thoroughly, very compassionately, and honestly. They went above and beyond whenever we needed anything (any crucial items that we were close to running out of). Cil was a super Angel and very professional, Megan was proactive and responsive, Kiana was a Superstar, all the nurses were helpful and compassionate. I would like to say that angels hospice helped me take care of my mother in her last few weeks of life. The team of Christina and Christina (no last names will be used ) were the best I never got the chance to meet the Christiana the cna and I thank her for the care she gave mom when I had to leave town to get my things off the ship in norfolk and Christina the rn was the best her hugs helped so much I asked her to be blunt with me and she was I thank her for that so very much I would recommend angels hospice to any one and every one I ever meet they are the best thanks to them mom was allowed to die in peace at home thank you from the bottom of my heart I will never forget you guys read more

My granddaughter came home October 4, 2012, at 1 day old with a short life expectancy. Angels Hospice was referred to come out and help us during this time. A nurse and social worker came out the first visit and then the nurse once a week. The social worker was to come once a month. The care and compassion of the nurse was incredible. She truly went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. The social worker didnt really do anything. When the baby died at 86 days old my daughter received a call the following day and was told they would call once a day for the following few weeks to check on her and her emotions . She has not heard from anyone since that call Dec 29, 2012, todays date is Sept 13, 2015. Very disappointed that once the baby died the support ended. The nurse was great but if you need emotional support please arrange for care outside of the hospice system read more

This is the LAST organization I would want caring for a loved one. There are too many issues to list! If you are considering Angel's Hospice, I suggest you investigate thoroughly, including sanitation and the integrity of medications carried by visiting nurses! If you find issues, as I found many, notify Kaiser Permanente that you will not accept less than quality care for your loved one. read more

At first I thought the nurse from Angels was very caring. She would come over twice a week and take my mother's temperature, blood pressure, oxygen level, and listen to her chest and ocasionaly her stomach. Everytime, she would act like everything was normal since she never showed any concern. In fact she would say my mother's oxygen was normal, her chest clear, her blood pressure fine. Naturally, I thougt my elderly mother was stable and safe. I was never lead to believe she was declining. Once in a while she would seem to improve, according to the other caregiver. However, I noticed with my own two eyes that she was not improving after a while. In fact, my mother was having more difficulty in walking until she could no longer walk. Yet, I could not understand why we were brought morphine to administer for pain. No one told me what was happening to my mother's body. I was just told to give it when she was in pain or just grimmacing. In addition, a social worker was called in after noticing leg bruises that she got from hitting her leg on the metal part of the wheel chair. The social worker came with serious threats of removing my mother from her home over some superficial skin injuries. There was more concern over the condition of her skin rather than trying to help her improve her disabled physical condition. I was never told how seriously ill she was. I only received notes from the nurse when I was not available regarding medicating her, feeding her, and the insistence of using Thick It. Also, once when I called their office over my concern for my mother was I told by the woman anwering in a cold, matter-of-fact way that it was just "part of the process of dying". Only on the day before my mother died did the nurse say her oxygen was a little low, and her blood pressure was high at 200 like it was no big deal. She did not mention anything wrong with her heart or lungs. I was never told or left any notes by the regular nurse how close to death my mother was the last time we got a visit. Consequently, when I kissed my mother goodnight and laid down on her other bed beside her, I was horrified to wake up early the next morning to her loud gurgling as she lay dying. I hope noone ever has to go through the deception and consequent trauma of losing a loved one the way I had to. I guess it was just business as usual for the Angels of death. read more

I recently had my father enrolled under hospice care, and I received a warm recommendation from one of the local hospitals about this agency. when I initially called, the staff was very professional and welcoming, answering all my concerns, and completely understanding of my situation. After having my father transported to our home thanks to Angels, I was visited by their social worker and nurse for a consultation in order to ensure I was emotionally ready for hospice, as well as pain management options presented to my father. After coming to an agreement my father was seen by his nurse, social worker and Home Health Aide regularly until his time came and I was able to find funeral services thanks to their social worker, who was kind enough to sit down and go through the options with me personally. I can never describe the wonderful experience I had with Angels Hospice, since it was truly beautiful and warm and they were always there for me, even when I contacted my fathers nurse at 3 am for a medication consultation. I truly recommend this hospice service for anyone in need and looking for that personal relationship and communication as you go through a very tough time with much needed support and bereavement.
