The entire team there is so friendly and committed to their work - you can clearly see it in their great attitudes. Kevin was my primary Physio and Julio and Kevin aided him very nicely. I also had a few sessions with France - and she's super! France has a knack to uncover root causes and how to overcome them. Kevin and France set me up with a a good set of exercises and routines that got my achy shoulder back into shape. The surgeon who recommended PT for me was amazed at the rapid improvement in just a couple of months of PT and told me that I no longer needed the surgery that would otherwise be needed. So a huge THANKS to France, the Kevins, Julio and a couple others whose names I didnt catch. Maria from the front desk made making appointments so easy - including via text - and did a great job of reminding me of upcoming sessions. Highly recommend this team for any physio needs!

France is extremely knowledgeable and I've felt from day one that she truly cares and is invested in my health just as much as I am. All of the staff have also been very kind and helpful to work with, and through my time there I've seen my range of motion and endurance all increase significantly, while my pain has decreased noticeably! I still have a ways to go but I feel that I'm in the right hands and am hopeful for the first time in a long time that I WILL be able to fully recover.

I made a few calls to PT offices where no one picked up or they informed me the next appointment would be over a month from now. I needed a visit as soon as I could. I called Ascend PT and Gina immediately picked up, listened to my situation and quickly booked me in to be seen within a few days. Gina is very professional and personable. She made me feel very comfortable right away and gave top quality care. I felt immediate relief after she worked on my neck and gave me exercises to work on. At this point, I have seen so many physical therapists throughout my life and Gina is quite competent. Substantial progress was made each visit and I would leave visits feeling refreshed and pain free. Meanwhile, at other places, I would be in pain for several months before seeing any progress. After seeing Gina for a month and a half, I was 90% recovered and after three months, I feel so refreshed and able to do all my regular exercise routines and activities. I truly wish I had found Gina much earlier and will solely be seeking her guidance when I have future injuries~

I was dealing with a whiplash injury that left me constantly dizzy, unable to function normally, and struggling with sleep. It was significantly impacting my daily life. After about two months of working with Gina, I've made substantial progress. I'm finally having good days again, which at one point felt out of reach. She has a deep understanding of the body and knows exactly which muscles to target to drive real improvement. What sets her apart is how she integrates her physical therapy expertise with Pilates--something traditional PT often lacks by not addressing the body as a whole. Gina's approach is truly unique and highly effective. I'm very grateful for her help. Her office is organized and perfect for Pilates training.

Long Long overdue review - I first came to chirosport in 2019 after a misdiagnosis (potential…read moredegenerative disc disease) and was desperate for relief from what eventually was discovered to be sciatica. As a rec league hooper/softball player, I was miserable and considering retirement. I had never experienced chiropractic care, so I was a bit skeptical but willing to try anything. After the course of about 4 months and maybe 6-8 adjustments (sorry I can't remember exactly) and I have been practically pain free. Now disclaimer: doc is absolutely amazing and emailed me some great stretches that I still routinely do to keep my sciatica away or minimal so managing my pain has been a long term commitment that I am happy to do. Fast forward to 2025, I've since picked up golf which comes with a whole new set of aches/pains and I revisited Chirosport due to some nagging neck and shoulder numbness/pain that I couldn't shake. aAfter a few sessions and I am pain free (well, as much as an active 43 year old can be) and I've now incorporated a monthly visit for wellness care. *Bonus- book a pressure point massage after your adjustment that is offered on site on select days with Mike! This has been a whole new game changer! Thank you to the ChiroSport team for keeping me in the game!!!!!

I typically get sports massage and deep tissue work, and Mike absolutely delivers. My only wish is that they offered longer sessions -- the 30-minute massage feels like a tease because it's that good! The only downside is that the clinic doesn't offer many massage-only package options. Currently, you have to combine chiropractic care and other modalities to book a massage with Mike. It would be amazing if they offered more flexible massage-only packages, as I would definitely come even more often.

But their major weak spot is getting your foot in the door since the phone is often not answered and sometimes my voicemails are not returned. It's frustrating right at this time since I was reevaluated and then no one scheduled me, nor returned my phone calls, so now a month has passed and I must be reevaluated again a month from now due to no openings. It's difficult when one is in pain. I would give 4 stars but this last incident is pretty awful where I'd like to give 2, but I hear they are having some turnover so I know it's probably challenging for them also. My son is a DPT and used to manage facilities like this, so I know it can be difficult, but they still need to strive toward excellence.

I personally suggest and recommend to AVOID this Kaiser facility, it lacks the basic human empathy…read moreand compassion when it comes to bedside manner. Some of the doctors and R.N.s are out of touch with the human connection - depending on the care you need - you WILL be treated like a number - this is partially a reflection of management and leadership. There were two separate doctors who administered treatment and one was absolutely disgusting with his mannerism. His arrogance needs to be challenged. I have reviewed his Kaiser biography, and in comparison to other medical doctors, there are far more credentialed physicians that do not behave in such an arrogant and condescending manner. This specific doctor needs to be counseled - I will be naming him on the KP survey that I received. Secondly, whoever has responsibility and oversight needs to be held accountable for the failure of sanitary practice in the cafeteria. This facility cafeteria does not provide trays for food - I believe for cost cutting reasons, why else would there be no trays?. As a substitute for trays, the option provided to guests are shipment boxes. Shipment boxes from food and drinks that have been delivered. Unsanitary and disgusting. How have the employees and paying KP members tolerated this? In addition, after having spent a week on the transition floor, I discovered why there were so many discrepancies with the care - the nurses and doctors DO NOT work off of the same screen/software so the clinical treatment is not consistent - I literally said, that the system used is out of date and I had to intervene as a human to highlight how the doctor and nurses notes are not consistent - this is negligent care. This was my first time at Kaiser San Leandro and when I compare San Leandro to other Kaiser facilities, San Leandro ranks as the poorest Kaiser facility in the several Kaiser facilities my family receives treatment from. Do better Kaiser San Leandro. For everyone reading this, note the Kaiser CEO Salary-with this- Kaiser San Leandro needs to do better: Kaiser Permanente CEO and Chairman Gregory A. Adams receives a total annual compensation package of approximately $12.8 million to over $15.5 million based on recent nonprofit disclosures and filings - copied from Google Search. Compensation BreakdownBase / Total Reported Compensation: Public nonprofit tax filings (IRS Form 990) and financial analyses, such as those cataloged on ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer, list Gregory Adams' total compensation at roughly $12.79 million, with other reporting and industry tracking placing figures between $12.9 million and $15.5 million depending on the specific incentive structures and reporting years evaluated.Context on Nonprofit Pay: As the head of the largest non-profit healthcare system in the United States, the CEO's compensation package is significantly higher than standard corporate or smaller nonprofit benchmarks, drawing regular scrutiny in healthcare cost analyses.
