Angels Moving Autos was fantastic! They were very quick about getting a driver assigned to pick up and ship my car (less than 24 hours). And during the transport, they gave regular updates as to where the car was and the approximate delivery day/time. They made the whole process super-smooth from beginning to end. I had total confidence in them all along the way. Interestingly, they actually knew the dealership and salespeople by name at the place where I bought my car in New Mexico. They were also picking up and dropping off at a Porsche dealership local to me which is further evidence of the quality of their services if this dealership would use them. People are sometimes skeptical of shipping brokers (I was) but Angels Moving Autos obviously has a great, long-standing and well-deserved reputation in the industry for good reason. The driver of the truck (Mesfin, you're awesome!) was very friendly, respectful, professional and incredibly thorough. Before loading the car at the dealership, he noted all of the flaws with the car, however minor, even stuff I had missed after examining extensive photos and videos I received from the dealership. When I got the car, he went over those flaws with me and I later received an email outlining everything about the shipping transaction, including nearly 40 photos of the car detailing its condition upon pickup. One other noteworthy part of the experience was that there was a delay along the way and the driver wasn't going to arrive until around 9pm. They were great about letting me know that well in advnace but it was going to be very dark in my rural area and the weather was bad with heavy rain. Going above and beyond, they gladly accommodated my request to meet the next morning instead, when the rain would have stopped and I could examine the car in the daylight. They recommended AMA for shipping my old Honda Insight to my son in Portland OR. My calls were returned right away. The car shipped out within 48 hours of first contact. They gave me an estimated transit time, which the carrier gets to pick. I was contacted 48 hours before the first day of the load window, and then each day after that until my car loaded. Angels moving is well priced and got the job done. They did promise to use known quality drivers but when it was time to deliver our vehicle the drive cause a number of issues. They scheduled to deliver on Wednesday or Thursday but called without prior notice saying the car MUST be delivered on Tuesday. This cause us to cancel plans and adjust because the driver had a "family emergency". The driver also refused to deliver to the location and demanded we meet him at a Lowes. We got the vehicle and everything worked out. We called Angels to complain and discuss the issues and they did not take any responsibility for the bad communication. Then Dena hung up on us in frustration. They also don't pick up any day because Sat or Fri and if you need a different day then you have to pay an extra fee for us it was $250. read more

4.5 stars! I shipped my Porsche Macan S with Angels Moving Autos coast to coast from Maryland to Washington state. I was a little nervous as it was a big move but Dina reassured me that everything will be okay. The car arrived slightly delayed in about 10 days- which is still perfectly reasonable. The car arrived in perfect condition! Yes, I was a little hesitant in the beginning because they are technically a broker but Angels seem to work very closely with specific transport companies only and have developed long term relationships with them. My car was assigned to A&G Transport. I knocked down half a star because as the driver was unloading the car, he was wearing dirty working gloves and left oily dirt marks on my beige seats and steering wheel. It came off easily with a little cleaner but it was still a hassle to clean and took about one hour of scrubbing. Apparently A&G Transport often ship for Porsche dealerships. I saw the truck unloaded a brand new 911 from the dealership so you are in good hands if you decide to go with them. I had the personal phone number of the driver himself so it was very easy to keep in touch with him whenever I wanted an update. He was also very courteous and pleasant. I needed the car in Seattle prior to starting a new job so a timely delivery was really important to me. Side note- prior to signing with Angels, I tried to sign with non brokers Intercity Lines and Passport Transport just because they were highly recommended on some forums, as Angels Moving Autos were as well. Both Intercity Lines and Passport were incredibly disorganized and inconsiderate of my time so I do not recommend them. I waited for 1.5 months and called them every week-- and they still couldn't confirm if they were going to Seattle or not until one day they both called and said they would pick up in 2 days. How did you not know for 1.5 months? You have ONE job. Get it together Intercity Lines and Passport Transport- you guys are incompetent as a business company regardless of safe car delivery or not. If I could give no stars I would. This company I chose because of the yelp review, and because it is a woman owned company. They come off really sweet, but then it goes south. We had a 2 way transport, was quoted $1,400.00 then when we decided to go with then then we we told that we were misquoted, if we wasn't in a rush we could still do it for the 1rst quote. If not it would be $1,700.00 my husband said it was no rush so that was it. Then over the next few days we got text saying Aug 13, so we got to our contact person and let them know the 13 would be pick up day. So then today we get a text saying Aug 20??? It was explained that the driver had a family emergency, totally understand BUT we had our contact waiting on this pick up and putting his life on hold. So was told that it would be hard to get another driver because " they would rather pick up honda civics than heavy old vehicles " and we would have to fork over more money! So then we are pissed, they use the excuse of the 14 day contract, but what happends when you can't find a driver, and we had this worked out with our contact! The people working here are nice enough, but don't care if there are problems with your shipment. Only a "sorry" and "we understand" offered. Not a good way to keep customers. If you are in the wrong, you fix it. My car was quoted to be in my possession within 10 days. I had it shipped from LA to NJ. It took them almost 2 weeks to get to me. They claimed it was because someone at the DOT had "accidentally deleted a document" in California. So the truck was stuck in Arkansas. They literally called me on Tuesday (the day it was due) and said it would be a little late: Thursday/ Friday. Then on Friday said the car was stuck in AR and it would take even longer. As the customer, you are left in the dark...but if you ask me, that sounds a LITTLE suspicious. Sounds to me like the driver just wanted to go on a little joy ride. I needed to ship a car from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles. I found angels online. Very good reviews, in the top ten on an auto transport website. After getting quotes from several different companies I decided to call. All the other companies I called quoted me an amount and a 7-10 day window for delivery. Melissa received my call and was very pleasant. I was put through to who I was told was the owner and she walked me through the options and prices. They gave me a 5 day quote and a next day pick up option! The price was a little bit higher but by the time I heard the price I had already decided to go with them. I made that decision based on the good reviews and the customer service over the phone thus far. I received a receipt via email as requested. The pick up occurred as promised. Delivery took only 4 days (exceeded expectation). There was a follow up call to make sure all had gone well. If you need to ship your car I highly recommend Angels. So, I used Angels Moving Autos to get a car I purchased sight unseen (long story, S4 MT Avant's are extremely hard to find) from Boston to Seattle and they were FANTASTIC! After reading the horror stories about shipping companies, brokers and the like, I was almost ready to fly to Boston and drive the car back myself. Well, after about 4 or 5 inquiries (and a huge mistake inputting information on a shipping blog - which I am still getting texts/emails/calls for) and many conversations, I chose Angels. They were all very polite, never too pushy and guaranteed great communication. Although they all try to "sell" you, Angles seemed the most sincere. Either way, they contracted out the shipping to a very nice Belarusian couple - IK Transportation, and they texted me throughout the majority of the trip. Now while IK's communication wasn't the best, the only real snafu I ran into was that their truck wasn't able to make it to the original meeting spot. Not really a big deal, as I live on a very residential street and their excuse of not being able to get a 74 foot truck up a few of the Seattle hills was totally legitimate. We've always driven from MA to FL ourselves -- 5 long days each way -- and finally bit the bullet and had the car transported this year. We had several referrals from friends and relatives, but after interviewing the various companies, it became apparent that Angels Moving Autos was really our only choice if we wanted to keep stress down and "surprises" to a minimum. Dina, April and Amanda kept an eye on things and kept us updated in the weeks prior to pick-up, during transport and the morning of arrival. The driver was also excellent in keeping us abreast of our BMW's progress down the coast. Angels saved my move from the west coast to the east coast. I booked with another company two months ahead of time and they failed to book my vehicles shipment. I had to leave on Monday and had not heard anything by Friday still. That's when I searched and found Angels. I spoke with Dina that Friday morning and explained my situation to her. About 10-15 minutes later, Dina was able to secure a last minute driver for both of my vehicles. She was very helpful and able to answer any question we had about the process. In addition to this, we were constantly kept up to date with text messages about where our vehicles were, who the driver was, and when we should expect deliver. We were told it could take around 7 days to make it here, but it actually made it in 4 days. The driver that delivered our vehicles was incredible and very helpful with the shipment. I have read horror stories of car shipments gone wrong, which made me incredibly nervous to ship my cars. But there's a sense of peace when you are with the right company, and that's how I felt working with Angels. This was my first time shipping a car, and my first big move (CA to PA). I had 2 cars to ship and had 0 experience with the industry. There are so many scams out there, so when I was researching an auto transport company, I looked extensively through higher end car forums (BMWs, Corvettes, Porsches, Muscle cars, etc.), because I knew that these folks would only want quality transport for their cars. I looked for the 3 most talked about companies, with consistency of positive reviews and experiences across multiple car forums and threads. Angels Moving Autos was a widely talked about company with positive reviews across the board, and I had narrowed it down to Angels and another company. Angels quoted me a little bit more than the other company, but the reason I chose Angels was because it is a family owned and operated business (unlike the other one which was a big corporate mass-consumer mess who didn't care about your car and just wanted your money), and I knew they would give special care to their customers. I was right. After almost being scammed by another company prior to finding Angels, I reached out to Dina and Bailey and we began the process. They took care of all the arrangements, and immediately assigned my cars to a driver for the exact timeframe I needed. I wanted my convertible top placement, which they told me is normal protocol for convertibles (the other company wanted me to pay extra for top placement, then later came back around and told me top placement is not guaranteed). +1 for Angels. (Upon delivery of cars, the convertible was indeed top placed). It would have been disastrous to have to miss my flight on account of the driver not picking up my cars at the assigned time, but the guy who picked up arrived on the day, exactly within the time frame upon which we agreed. Dina and Bailey kept in constant communication through text messages, and the carrier we used (Unified) was always available to take my calls and questions. I'm sure other companies do texting updates as well, but I appreciated and was surprised to see that Angel's text updates were not automated, but were personalized, live updates, addressing me by name. Even the guys at Unified knew my name, and my cars. Everyone interacted with me as though I was a long-time friend, not just a customer. Considering all the cars and folks they are taking care of, I appreciated this kind of personalized treatment. +1 for Angels. The time frame given to me was 7-10 days for cross country transport; my cars arrived in 7 days, again, exactly within the hours promised. Arrived no damage, and surprisingly clean. Over all, I am very thankful to have found Angels and would use no other company. They are professional, trustworthy, and focused on customer care. Long story short, our car needed to be delivered either during daylight or to our garage where we could examine and accept delivery. Dena's driver could only do an evening delivery 2 days in a row, and so we offered Dena at least 3 suggestions to try and facilitate an evening delivery. Dena was unprofessional, was yelling and talking over me, told me I was being a child, I was one of the most difficult customer's to deal with, and she hung up on me. Thankfully, the company Dena hired to do the actual delivery called us and worked out getting our car to us. I wouldn't wish this woman on my worse enemy, and I've had many vehicles delivered to my various homes over the years. I had a less than desirable experience with these folks. Here are the facts: I bought a car. The dealer salesman told me once they had the $ the delivery co. had 5 days (no including sat & sun) to pick up and 5 days to deliver. They didn't pick the car up for 7 days and delivered in 8 (to include sat & sun). I was told by Angels that this info was wrong, dealers fault. BUT on the call when I was complaining the condescending women responded, "What do you think I can pull and truck and a driver out of thin air." That is the issue I have. The customer service at this point was awful. I called the dealer to complain, spoke to the manager who reports the salesman was wrong in telling me the timeframe he did but that the way I was treated by Angels was wrong and that he would call. I then received a call from Angels with such an 'over done' conversation that it was annoying. Like, "How is your day.... OH wow you bought a new car you must be so excited, What did you get , oh wow, what color? oh wow that will be real nice, etc ,etc." Am I the consumer that just won't be happy, possibly. What I wished would have happened on behalf of Angels is this: Treat me with respect when I call. If you can't deal with upset customers train your staff. If you made a mistake and had a customer with a bad impression of an employee own it and move forward simply and professionally. No need to go over board. The car got to me in one piece. However after dealing with Dina it is obvious she should probably hire some staff to help with her customer service needs. - At least drop the president title when being condescending to your customers so it would not be such an obvious reflection of her company as a whole. So after requesting a quote from NJ to HI, she responded with "Once again, a sedan, from New Jersey $975.00, p/u within 72 hours of booking." I am not sure why she said "once again" as this was the first and only quote received from NJ...just odd but it makes sense later when she appears to have a crazy moment and snaps in a subsequent email. Since $975 seemed awfully low I attempted to confirm the price in a following email. She replied with "No, that is the price to the port in Long Beach." Confused now (as I never mentioned Long Beach as a destination), I quoted her $975 price and asked again for the price from NJ to HI. I can't help but suspect the lie a result of bait and switch tactics common in the industry. She then flipped and said "Find someone else, your an asshole." Shocked by this, I replied dumbfounded starting off with "Huh? I just quoted where I got the number from in your last email." I also alluded to it now being necessary to do my part and put a review out there of my experience. As with all companies, I am sure many customers go through the process glitch-free with Angels Moving Autos. I point this out because heaven forbid something goes wrong, I would hate to rely on service from someone that can be so grossly unprofessional on a random whim.
