Maggie is amazing. I had come from Maryland to new york to visit family and got my nails here, she made sure that my nails were done correctly and I love them. I will definitely be coming back to this nail salon

Inconsistent nail painting. Lumpy and bumpy not a smooth finish. Painted my cuticle and didn't take all the dead skin off.

I have been coming to this place forever. I have referred tons of friends and spent loads of money, they can be expensive. But they have always done a good job. I usually see Tony and I read from another reviewer that he uses vulgar language which can be true but never in an offensive way. I've always had a good time. Anyway fast forward to today. I go early cause I know it's a holiday weekend and there are already 3 people in front of me (aggravated) so I ask for Ewan. The pedicurist that does a bomb job. Tony tells me she left two years ago. Well obviously I have been in a while. So I go to anyone. View pic. I'm never going back here. I hate the fact that they don't go by appointments. When I was younger sitting in the salon for 4 hours to get some tips and a pedi was no issue. But I'm a mom, a business owner and wife. I got ish to do. I can't be in the salon all day listening to ratchet stories. If you've heard of any other place. Please message me. Thanks.

This is the newer location located next door to VIM. The old location is still open and pretty much across the street. Keri & her his an Tony both own Angel's and they expanded to this location a year or few ago. Keri stays at this location and Tony stays at the older one. I love Angel's. They honestly do the best nails. People come from different boroughs just to get their nails done here. Thanks to their expansion, you no longer have to wait hours to get your nails done. But there still is sometimes a long wait. That's my only negative with coming here. All the nail techs are talented. There are a million colors available. Majority name brand/quality polishes. They do charge for everything-- cut, shaping, etc. They have a lot of gel colors also but pretty pricey. Keri does eyebrows for $8. It may seem like a lot because I know some people that pay $5. But she does eyebrows great and a lot of people will only go to her. All in all this is my favorite nail salon. I would recommend anyone to come here. Also, they just started accommodating to people to would like to go by appointments.

My first ever time at Angel's Nails today and I couldn't have been more happy with their service! The massage on the massage chair while having my pedicure was definitely the cherry on the top! And their staff is very nice and professional too! Usually staff at nail salons are so full of nasty attitude! But Angel's staff is the best! This place is highly recommended!!

Got my claws redone. Lol my new summer color. Essie- Viva Antigua!

I've been coming to get my nails done at Angels for years and since they expanded across the street, I'm an even bigger fan. There's ample parking and two entrances to make it easier to access. I like to keep my nails pretty simple and buffed down really low and all the technicians here seem to understand the level of natural I'm going for. I really don't go anywhere else for my nails because of the level of quality they provide here. They're so popular that a lot of people actually book appointments but I typically just walk right in for a minor wait.

What I asked for... picture from their Instagram

Terrible experience from the minute I walked in the door! I should have left but was desperate so I stayed. There is a line that forms at least an hour before the shop opens, creating screaming matches between customers about who arrived first. There are no rules only unwritten rules from customers who have been to the shop before and a few have nasty attitudes when you are unaware. The owner is often late to open and doesn't assist with these customer confrontations. The finished product was my nail polish bubbling and the designs found on their Instagram page were horribly replicated because only one tech is good at their job and threatened to charge more because I didn't like her work. Anywhere is better than here!!!! Literally anywhereeeeeeeee! The pictures speak for themselves... what I asked for vs. what I got!

I had come here with my bestfriend about a month ago and liked their work, so i decided to go there again today. I had made my appointment at 1pm the day prior with the owner. Once i got there at 1 today, i had to wait half an hour to be taken care by a nail lady, which i understood due to that they were busy. I sat down with the nail lady and told her i wanted to get a full set and needed my current tips taken off. When I usually go to get my tips soaked off, it takes about 20 minutes the longest. The nail lady proceded to leave my nails in acetone, which is the normal procedure. What i found odd is that i was left there waiting for an hour, with my nails in acetone and no one to come by and check up on them or even have the decency to tell me how much longer. After i asked the nail lady how much longer, she looked at me nasty and passed me over the nail filer - in which I looked at her with confusion because i didn't know I had to take off my tips off by MYSELF, yet i would still be paying for my tips to be taken off. After growing inpatient and mad after an hour and a half, i decided to leave the place. I left the place without my tips not taken off fully, looking a mess. I find this to be such a disgusting experience. Never again.

Julie's work. Offered me 5$ off my full set. Seriously! I did not walk in here with my nail like this.

If I could do noo stars I would. All Julie kept trying to do is put crazy glue in my nail to keep it from bleeding. Informed Kerry and all she tried to do was offer me 5$ off my full set. So on top of me not walking in there with my nail like this, them putting glue on my badly cut and swollen finger, me walking out without my nails done, they tried to give me an infection of my finger by constantly putting crazy glue on the cut. Like seriously. Never again. Me nor my sister will ever be going back there. Mind you i would get my nails and my sisters nails done here every 2weeks I was spending 70$ and better at this place for me and my sister getting pedicures and the whole nine to be treated like that. I'll never go back and neither will my sister.

Been coming to Kerry for years!! I just love her and Tony for my nail needs. They are very creative as well as very good at what they do. The new location is beautiful. Everyone is very friendly and attentive...id definitely recommend them.

I love it and everything you see on my nails are done with acrylic only

I arrived for my appointment and things went smoothly although the manicurist barely uttered a word to me. That's ok. As I checked out I was told there would be an additional charge of $10 to remove the old gel. That's the first I heard of that. I don't think it's fair to spring that on a client after the fact. I was asked if I wanted to charge the services but I opted to pay cash instead. I was assured I'd receive a statement via email. Fast forward to the next day and I see a charge on my credit card. I called and explained I paid cash and I was assured the charge would be credited and should show in a few days. I asked again for my statement to be emailed and confirmed my email address. To date I've received the credit to my credit card but if I hadn't noticed the charge would they have automatically credited my account? I was assured my card would not be charged, so why did they charge any services to it? To date I haven't received the emailed statement I was assured I'd receive. It's been over 3 weeks. The manicure was fine. The salon is beautiful. People were friendly and professional but sadly it did not go as I expected as far as payment.

I am a mother with no family here in this state to watch my kids and I will never leave my children with strangers. She suggested I take the last appointment of the day next time which would never work for me. There are plenty of places that do not treat you this way . I wish them the best, it's a beautiful spot, but what a turn off.

It's been four weeks, and I literally flew from Miami back to New York just to have her do my nails again that's how good she is! My nails still look just as perfect as the day she did them. I haven't had a nail experience like this in years. As a hairstylist, my hands are constantly in water, and my nails usually only last two weeks, but these? Still flawless. The Builder Gel she used is top quality no lifting, no breaking, no dullness. Everything about this salon is a 10 out of 10 from the service and customer care to the prices and atmosphere. I also love that I was able to walk in and get great service without an appointment. As I'm writing this, I'm literally getting ready to go back for my 4-week touch-up and to try out their pedicure service next. Highly, highly recommend

I don't even know where to begin, so bear with me because this may be a long review…read more This has to be one of the most unsanitary and unprofessional nail salons I have ever visited. The cleanliness, customer service, and overall quality of work were completely unacceptable. I hadn't been here in a little over a year, but I decided to come back for a refill and a shape change from square to almond before my trip. The experience went downhill almost immediately. As soon as I sat down, I noticed that my nail technician's workstation had not been wiped down after the previous client. The technician next to him also began working on another client without cleaning or sanitizing his station. To make matters worse, my technician wiped his nose and never washed or sanitized his hands before touching mine. That alone made me question the salon's hygiene standards. He then began filing down my existing builder gel with the electric drill. He filed so aggressively around my cuticles that they became extremely thin, as shown in my photos. While some filing is expected during a refill, there was no care taken to protect the natural nail. The dust collector was another major concern. It was filthy, covered in old nail dust and hardened clumps of dried gel or polish. It looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. At that point, I honestly felt like I needed to wash my hands before the service had even finished. When it came time for my shape change, things only got worse. I even showed him reference photos of the almond shape I wanted, but he clipped my nails with no precision, care, or attention to symmetry. Multiple times, I could feel the nail clipper slipping between my natural nail and the builder gel, which was both painful and concerning. I kept trying to trust the process, but it became increasingly difficult. Afterward, he applied builder gel almost exclusively at the base of my nails, leaving the upper portion--which he had just filed down--thin and unprotected. He then instructed me to place my hand under the UV lamp. At that point, I stopped him. I asked if he planned to even out the builder gel across the entire nail because it was obvious that the product was concentrated only near the cuticle. He insisted that this was the correct technique for a refill. I've had fills done by many different technicians using different methods over the years, and I have never seen anyone leave the majority of the nail thin while building up only the base. It made absolutely no sense to me and seemed like it would make my nails much more likely to break before I even left for my trip. Rather than argue, I politely asked if someone else could finish my nails because it was clear we weren't on the same page. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he rolled his eyes and became visibly irritated. I then asked to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't any better. Rather than addressing my concerns, she dismissed them and repeatedly insisted that this was simply how refills are done. I requested that they remove the product because I refused to cure my left hand under the UV lamp in that condition. In all my years of getting my nails done, I've experienced good salons, mediocre salons, and even disappointing salons--but I have never experienced anything like this. Between the poor sanitation, questionable techniques, dismissive customer service, and overall lack of professionalism, I will never return. If cleanliness, proper nail care, and professionalism are important to you, I strongly recommend choosing another salon.
