It was a short walk to the gates where we brought in our own waters and snacks. Once in the central plaza we could take photos with statues, bobbleheads, etc and walk around the stadium Made our way to the upper decks to get a better view of the field, and enjoyed checking out everything. It's a completely cashless place (as most stadiums are these days) so prepare to pull out your card for everything. Is it expensive? Yes. Was it more than I thought? For some items, yes ($12 soda, $11 Dodger dog) but for others no ($22 beer, $6 ice cream) The atmosphere is great and the fans love their team. Unfortunately for them the Padres won

We visited from out of state while on our honeymoon, I reached out to see if I could add anything else to my tickets, the response was much more than expected. We received first game certificates as well as a bag of goodies! This actually made the experience so much better for us. As for the park itself, we went on a give away night, people were body to body, no one was able to move, and it was quite a dangerous situation I'm not sure if this is normal, but if there was an emergency everyone was stuck. Crowds died down after the first pitch, the fans were amazing, the whole atmosphere was a fun experience. They did run out of quite a bit of food prior to the game starting the day we went. Over all we had a good experience, my recommendation is doing research on how to enter and how to get to your seats before going.

I purchased the special ticket package that included a bucket hat and arrived early to be one of the first 5,000 fans to receive the Hello Kitty blind box giveaway. I was pleasantly surprised by how organized everything was. The staff did a great job regulating the number of people going through security, which helped keep the entrance process smooth despite the large crowd. I always bring a clear bag to sporting events hoping to get through security a little faster, but I still got pulled aside for an additional bag check. It was a little frustrating since it slowed down the process, especially when I noticed other guests with larger, non-clear bags weren't being stopped. Thankfully, I still made it in early enough to receive the Hello Kitty blind box. I even managed to catch one of the free T-shirts during the T-shirt toss, which was a fun surprise. Once inside, I picked up my bucket hat before the game. The pickup line itself was well organized, but the area felt more crowded than it needed to be since the Hello Kitty meet-and-greet and photo opportunities were in the same space. Even though the Sparks lost, it was still a fun first Hello Kitty Night, and I'd definitely consider coming back for another themed game in the future.

And even if you sit all the way up top, it's still worth it for the experience. They do have big screens on either side of the stage so you can see the performers. Some of my favorite parts of seeing a show here: - The views, not just of the stage but of the whole audience, the hills, and the Hollywood Sign - The atmosphere. It's always good vibes and friendly people. Staff is super helpful. It's hard to be in a bad mood at the bowl. - Picnic dinners. You can bring your own food and eat it at the picnic grounds, at tables above the box office, or at your seat. And for performances with the LA Phil you can bring your own alcohol, too. - The programming. There is truly something for everyone, every single year. Because this is LA, a lot of incredible people show up, sometimes unexpectedly. I just saw a performance of the Music from the Films of Wes Anderson with Beck, Devo, Jackson Browne, Jenny Lewis, Karen O, and more. I've seen Bjork here. I've seen Tame Impala. So many good shows! So do yourself a favor and buy tickets to the Bowl. Sometimes they're as low as $20. Oh and definitely use the shuttles or park at Hollywood/Highland. Stacked parking is not for the faint of heart.

I didn't mind the format, but it did create a lot of traffic in the aisles while people searched for seats. Once we settled in, the energy in the stadium was fantastic. Half the stadium was closed, so food choices were limited, but everything we tried was solid. The nachos were on point as always, the tater tots were great, and we also grabbed a couple of hot dogs and a Dole Whip. The Dole Whip was a fun surprise and hit the spot on a warm day. The facility itself is impressively clean. Both the men's and women's restrooms were immaculate, which is something I really appreciate at a busy event. Staff throughout the stadium were friendly and helpful. Prices were what you'd expect for a modern venue given labor costs. Parking was steep at $65, but overall the experience was worth it. I bought my ticket last minute and went alone because the artists were Coldplay and H.E.R., and I had been dying to see them live. Plus, tbh there is something fun about being able to say, "Yeah, I've been to the Rose Bowl." That said, I really hope any artist I love never forces me into this venue again. The food options were not interesting, the venue felt filthy, and I wanted to avoid the restrooms as much as possible. People were smoking near me during the concert, and one guy drank so much that he ended up vomiting all over the bleachers behind me. Security had to escort him out, and even that became chaotic because his friends nearly picked a fight with them. Now, Coldplay was absolutely incredible!! They know how to put on a show, and once they hit the stage, I genuinely forgot how miserable the venue experience had been. Unfortunately, I ended up missing the one song I was most looking forward to (Fix You) because toward the end of the concert, some smarter concertgoers started leaving early to avoid traffic. Since I had a long drive home, I decided to leave during the last few songs too. And even then? I still got stuck in traffic for a while! Getting out of the Rose Bowl was an absolute nightmare. Would I come back here again? Honestly, I hope not. The artist would have to be extremely worth it for me to willingly set foot in this venue again. My advice: go at your own risk, get there as early as possible for better parking, bring food and water so you can eat before going in, wear comfortable shoes, and go with people you actually like enough to suffer with. Coldplay was amazing. The venue experience was not.

What's different about the Kia Forum is the lighting inside before heading to your seats. Very dark like you're walking into a movie theaters seating. Restrooms are clean and all around the arena as well. There's indoor ones as well as underground outdoor ones. Seats itself are pretty standard, not too tight nor too spaced out. I'd say the only con about the Kia Forum is the expensive parking. Lowest I've seen is $25 but it can go up to as highest as $85 as I've seen in person before. Aside from that, clean arena, very spacious and plentiful of parking, friendly staff, and not too congested even if there's a fully sold out show. -- Shows I've attended at Kia Forum -- GOT7 Tour 2018/2019 Loosemble Showcase 2023 IVE - Show What I Have - World Tour 2024 BABYMONSTER - Hello Monsters Tour 2025 Aespa SYNK: PARALLEL LINE 2025 Overall, always a great vibe at the Forum, a very historic arena that's a must visit whenever visiting LA. I got a hot dog here, which was $9. The quality of the hot dog was pretty good and tasty for stadium food and was reasonably priced for stadium food as well. The nachos were pretty reasonably priced too for $9.50. They even came with jalapenos and two cups of nacho cheese. You could debate that the nacho cheese could've came in one bigger container, but that's just like comparing tomatoes to tomatoes. All the packaging for the nachos was biodegradable so that's neat. The outside of this place is cool I suppose. I have no clue what it looks like inside, because when I went to enter, the guy told me I had to talk to a sales rep, so I did. The lady was like you have to buy season tickets to do a tour. I was like you want me to buy the season tickets today to do a tour? What if I don't like the stadium? She said yes. Then she told me I could look at what the stadium looks like online. Yeah I looked at it online but you know what doesn't look the same online and in person? A stadium... just like how Sofi Stadium doesn't look the same on the internet as it does in person... Like who in the world would ever want to be on the fourth or fifth story of that stadium as you can barely even see things on the third floor? So I said whatever and walked away. What a waste of time visiting. Why would I buy season tickets somewhere if I can't even get a tour to see what the stupid place looks like? When I wanted to buy chargers season tickets before the stadium was built, they walked me through the entire diagram. When I went on a tour at the staples center, they showed me the suites, the locker rooms and everything else. Here??? They don't even bother to show you what the stadium looks like! Anyway, back to the point. Get the hot dog it's pretty good. Or the nachos as they come in different colors. Oh at least I got a cool card of myself. That was really neat. But I really just wanted to see what the stadium looked like so I could consider whether this is something I wanted to do or not. Whatever...
