    Noodle dish

We were staying at the Jw Marriott and wanted to eat somewhere other than pizza, burgers, and fries. This is very close to hotel and I love a Thai food. This is a small restaurant but all employees wearing masks and the tables are clean. My husband ordered so I am not sure which noodle dish he ordered me, but it was delicious. He ordered spice level 10 and I added additional peppers they provided, so level 11. The portions are small, but food is temperature hot, wait a few minutes before digging in. Wait also so that the noodles will absorb the sauce. At the end of the noodle dish, I could feel the heat, but I was not dying. Price is a bit high to the amount of protein, 5 pieces of chicken, but flavor is good. Service is super fast!

Lunch time,, and we were feeling some thai food. So we came in and we were seated right away. Place was not super busy. Perfect location too since it isnt that far off from our super posh Amway Grand Hotel. We ordered the... Drunken Noodles: Pretty good, noodles were perfect. A bit skimpy on the portions, but still a pretty good dish. Pad Ped Chicken: Red Curry was pretty good. A bit skimpy on the food, but still was a strong dish. The soup served before the meal wasnt very good. Service was really good,, the kitchen was a bit laggy. Took a us a little bit til we got our entrees. Long enough for the conversation to run out and be like, "I wonder what happened to our food?" Other than that everything else was pretty good. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!

    Topped with chili flakes

I ordered Pattani and ordered a piece level 10. They did not warn about how hot it would be . Spice level sense is horrible! They just add red chili flakes all over in abundance and was not able to eat it. When I went to the owner she kept in arguing with me and didn't do anything. I would never go back again there! So rude and no business sense.

Been to Angel's Thai cafe a couple of times in the span of eight years. Decorations are nice, space is clean, service can be so-so, but I must say that they make really good boba tea. Also, one day after work I went to get my favorite Thai dish pad see yu and the chicken was raw! That was a turn off, so I only get boba tea from there. Recommend it for that!

I had a nice experience here. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai with spice level 5 and it was very good. Service was quick and attentive. The atmosphere is small and quiet. Good for people watching at Rosa Parks Circle!

    House noodles. Delicious!!!!

Service is always slow and inattentive. Food is decent. Not the best Thai is GR that's for sure.

I love Thai food and this place knows how to do it up right. Portions are generous but so delicious I always want more.

Food was too expensive for the quality, maybe I'm just used to LA Thai food but it was honestly gross.... Not going back.

Honestly the worst Thai food I have ever eaten. Seriously, don't waste your money. Flies in my drink, dry food, bad service.

I chose Drunken Noodles. Thought I could taste wine in it but no. Delicious dish anyway. The portion for dinner is really full

Pretty good Thai. They have a variety of items on the menu. Helpings are big enough to take home and eat a second time.

The Kentwood equivalent is this fabulous food court unwrapped into a strip mall, which includes Thai Express. Tidy, well lighted, and beautifully decorated with memories of Thailand, entering is a great first step. The staff are pleasant, and the service was quick and competent. No complaints at all. Things get weird with the food. I wonder if this is a Midwest thing, but everything was sweet. Weirdly sweet The surprise complimentary egg roll comes with a sweet dipping sauce. Not terribly on you unusual. The Tom Kha soup was sweet enough to overshadow the primary ingredient, the coconut milk. This is one of my staples, and this was the first time mostly I got was sweet. It was the highlight of my meal, and I would order it again, but I would steel myself for sweetness. I ordered the Pad Thai because it is the yardstick by which Thai restaurants are measured. A seemingly simple dish with a complex flavor profile. Let's start with the traditional sauce, usually made with tamarind pulp, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Instead, this seemed to have some sort of glucose sauce. No bueno. There also seem to be far less ingredients in this execution, resulting in a plate of noodles, fresh shrimp, ground peanuts, and a couple lime wedges. No sprouts for crunch. Nor anything else to round out a very basic preparation. Despite the award, this did not seem like a very happy interpretation of some really wonderful Thai dishes. I left the restaurant sad, and that's unusual for me. Don't let this be you.
