First of all it's so dirty in there, the entire place. I glanced at where the cooks were cooking....gross. Looking at their pics on Yelp some lady brought their dog in and is on the damn table that people eat on. I ordered pho it was terrible. That is NOT flank steak, it was rubbery and inedible, the broth was so sweet, and the veggies are old. I got a stir fried noodle they made it so hot I don't know even if Thai people could eat that. Food is still pretty good but service really seems to have become an afterthought, at least for dine in customers. Tables aren't too clean and the utensil and condiment area is disorderly and a bit sticky with the remnants in f leaky chili oil containers coating the counter. It appears carry out business is all they are now concerned about. Luckily I live close enough to visit the Grand Haven location that seems to be a much better ran restaurant. read more

This is my second time coming here. I have never been disappointed. The drunken noodles slap. The coconut soup, slaps. The tiny egg rolls, slap. Get a dessert while you're at it. The inside is a bit odd and strangely laid out but there's lots of seating. The staff are super friendly. There's a large parking lot. I think the place is well priced. Nice open layout. Lots of natural light and windows. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing experience to order and to eat. The food was delicious. The drunken noodle was very tasty with fresh vegetables and ingredients. The noodles were broad and had just the right amount of body. I will say, go easy on the spice as I think their regular was just right for me but too much for others. The Pad Thai was great and had a lot in the plate. The sauce had some sweetness to it and the ingredients were all fresh and not over cooked. The spring rolls looked great from a far and will have to be tried another time as we are so full! I was hesitant to try this place out because of so many mixed reviews that I heard. I decided to give this place a shot given that it was one of the few Thai places that was open on a Monday. So it was hard to say, whether or not it was busy because they were a default option or because they are a really good spot. I ordered online because I think they were too busy to pick up the phone. When I came to pick up the food it wasn't ready yet, and they were very busy. The restaurant itself is not very big, but comfortable enough for smaller groups with a few tables for outdoor seating as well. My dad and I checked our order of: papaya salad, Combination mango curry fried rice, beef drunken noodles, chicken pad Thai, and chicken green curry. Everything was pretty delicious. Ordered through Grubhub for lunch. The Roasted Pork Rolls were delicious and I'd order them again in a heartbeat. I need some greens in some way! I love the fresh rolls as an alternative to fried rolls. The peanut and other dipping sauces were great complements. I was pleasantly surprised with how packed full my Pad Thai container was. I added tofu which was the perfect consistency - not mushy, but not too firm. It came with one lime wedge. I could have used more citrus flavor in the dish. read more

This place is great for some thai food! The service was super nice and fast with getting everything done with my order. I will try to always get a Thai Iced Tea at any thai restaurant and here, it's amazing. The Pho Zap Combo has shrimp, tripe, meatball, & beef and it's a good portion given overall 10/10! Larb Chicken is so good, with the cucumbers, lettuce, & sticky rice! The portion was more than I needed but can definitely share with others. So good! I'm in Holland for work and the first time I door dashed their food. Such large portions! I ordered the tofu pad Thai with #5 heat and wowsers! So flavorful! Delish. She takes my order with no greeting, asking questions rudely and abruptly like I was doing her a disservice by being there. She takes my order and a big party of about 15 people orders after me. I thought she was for sure going to make my order first since I only ordered two things and I came in the restaurant first. Little did I know she pushed that big group of order in front of mine so I waited and saw all their dishes come out while I was still sitting there. I didn't complain but I will never visit or give my money to such a rude owner again. Onto the food....it lacked taste and the flavor was off. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and this was just the worst with the combo of disrespectful owner and mediocre food. The two waitresses were wonderful and had smiles though (kudos to you two!) The food I did eat was decent. The place is disgusting. Floors were sticky, with trash all over, walls were dirty with greasy handprints and splattered food. Appetizer plates were dirty when delivered to the table like they were grabbed out of the dirty stack, chopsticks had food stuck on them. When my daughter had to go to the bathroom, my wife told her to wash her hands and I jokingly said, "they probably don't have hand soap". Sure enough, my daughter came out and said they didn't...how do the employees wash their hands? The place was gross enough that I felt the need to leave a review - and I rarely ever leave reviews. Ha. No. This is not Thai food. This is not even food. We ordered pickup. It took an hour to prepare our order--which makes sense considering they boiled the pad Thai noodles into mush. Please see photo; that's the largest piece of noodle I was able to pick up. If you enjoy tiny bits of pad Thai eaten with a spoon, by all means order from here. If you know what food is supposed to be maybe don't. A $0.33 packet of ramen in a hotel microwave is a better meal. I know because that's now my only dinner option. Worst customer service!!I've ordered from this place multiple times and always get dessert. Last time the mango sticky rice wasn't edible because the sticky rice was hard as if it was old and dried out. They told me they'd replace it next time I ordered and took my name and info. I ordered a month later and they claimed to not know what I'm talking about. Your manger supposedly took my info down how do you not know? And I still ordered from you guys after my friend found a piece of kitchen sponge in her food. Never again. read more

This was a great first Thai experience! I went with a group from work and we all want to go back. We ordered Crab Rangoons and Baby Egg Rolls yo start. The Crab Rangoons have good flavor, heavy cream cheese. The Baby Egg Rolls are flaky and have just enough inside to balance it out! Our table order Pad Thai (3 different spice levels), Pad Pak and Pad Sieew. All 5 meals were better than hoped. We had a mix of chicken and steak amounts our dishes and all of it was cooked well. Primarily, a communication issue exists due to the lack of English-speaking staff, which led to my order being incorrect. The staff's inability to understand English resulted in the vegetables being undercooked and served hot but raw. Really nice little restaurant. Sort of reminds me of a sports bar without the TV's. It was clean and well maintained. We got our food to go. I got #3 Gang Phet and asked for extra spice. My wife had #18 Pad Cashew with tofu and minimal spice. Both were spiced perfect. Mine was huge! Jasmine rice was on the side for both fantastic food and huge portions. But with the wok and spatula clanging noises and the two hardworking hostess/ waitresses running around, they seemed busy and short handed. I was pumped when I saw banh mi on the menu because they're hard to come by in West Michigan. I ordered crab ragoons and a banh mi for take out. The crab ragoons were nice and crispy with gooey, yummy cream cheese. I didn't taste or see much crab in it but I'm more about the cream cheese anyway. The banh mi had sliced roast pork, dried pork, pickled carrots and daikon, japleno, sliced cucumber, cilantro, Japanese mayo and pate. The bread had a hard crisp texture versus the soft crispy texture. I put the banh mi in the toaster oven for a few mins and that helped it. The slices of roast pork were thin and cold. The cucumber was also very thin. They definitely need to add more meat and veggies, especially for charging $5 for it. I probably won't order this again and will wait to fulfill my banh mi cravings in Chicago. However, I do want to come back to try their pho and other noodle dishes. read more

Ordered the Kao Pboon which is my favorite Thai dish ever and wasn't too impressed. It was pretty mediocre. My fiancé got the Pad Sieew and it was so saucy. Wasn't necessarily bad tasting but super strong for sure. I also got a avocado boba smoothie and it tasted nothing like avocados. More like a vanilla shake lol. We got Pad See Ew and Curry Pad Thai. Both were good, however they switched the spice levels of our order... Although I ordered spicy, I got mild and my girlfriend got spicy. Big portions, enough for leftovers. The servers were nice and helpful. It took a bit of time for our food to come out even though it was not that busy. Biggest ball of BLACK CLUMPED HAIR in my curry. I still don't know how a BALL of hair makes it's way into curry, but it did. I will state that the cashier/server acted swiftly and courteous once I pointed it out. Refunded me for that one dish. Soon after my other dishes came out; Basil Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Chicken Pad Thai, and an Iced Coffees... but after the initial clump of hair I was done and disgusted and so was the rest of my group.
