On my first visit, I tried a few of their jumbo New York style slices. They were not gluten-free unfortunately, but the cheese slice was fantastic. The guy behind the counter mentioned that any of their pizzas can be made gluten-free, which is amazing since most places only offer a plain gluten-free cheese pizza. For my party, I ordered (2) 18inch pizzas margarita and veggie and got the same toppings on a gluten-free crust as well. Everyone really enjoyed the pizzas, and so did I one note the gluten-free crust is best Ian wall hot as it tends to get a bit hard once at Kohl's. Next time, I'll probably just stick with the veggie version since the margarita didn't hold up as well on the firmer crust. The staff member mentioned that everything is made fresh in house daily, except the gluten-free cross which comes frozen and in one size. Overall, this is a great neighborhood, pizza spot and I'll definitely be back.

But, having long been a fan of Zaza's, and an original east coaster, we had to try Nemec Brothers. Good news - it's the same delicious pizza you're used to at Zaza's. Even has the same layout inside. Their white pizza is as good a white pizza as I've had outside of the tri-state area, and I've had plenty in the Chicagoland area. Perfect crust, excellent cheese, and I absolutely love the addition of the sesame on the crust. Not sure when I'll be back to the area, but Glen Ellyn is lucky to have this spot.

Tonight we learned the Carol Stream one had closed, and ownership here was changing hands, but the new owners don't intend to mess with a good thing. We're not super familiar with Jersey style pizza, but it is nice being able to get really nice pizza by the slice. We tried the pepperoni, the sausage, the three sauce (with vodka sauce and pesto), and the white pizza (with garlic and ricotta). All were great, and surprisingly my preschooler's favorite was the three sauce (which I think is also mine), while my wife liked the white pizza. The slices are huge with a good crisp undercarriage, and lots of flavorful sauce on top. The service we experienced at both locations were top notch as well. To top it off, when we came here, there was a table with a couple people who looked straight out of Jersey (at least from my limited knowledge), and they were big fans as well.
