We finally got to eat here today! The food was wonderful. We shared spring rolls, chicken with basil, and chicken curry. The curry was a savory coconut curry with perfectly cooked vegetables (carrot, green beans, onion, red and green peppers). They were tender, but not mushy. The spring rolls were fun and beautiful, but only the dip had flavor. The chicken with basil was also deliciously spicy, but a bit on the oily side. The rice was plentiful and perfect. We took leftovers home, as the portions are generous. The service was friendly and the ambiance relaxed. My only complaint is that there is no menu to read in hand. You have to order from the large menu behind the counter, and my husband and I both had trouble seeing it clearly! Still, we will back again. Because I ordered the flat noodle soup and was expecting noodles similar to pad Thai or even the noodles in a pad Kee mao but these noodles were like the type you get in ramen packages. I went to get Pho because I was craving it. I found this spot on Yelp which had fairly good reviews and ratings. I ordered the #20 with Steak and my boyfriend ordered a type of steak with sauce and rice. With the pho it was okay. The bowl or the broth smell kind of off, Tasting like dishwater. I wasn't much of a fan of the noodles either. It was very chewy and a different taste. I am no Pho expert but this is the first place I have tasted the Pho to be off. I tried my boyfriends steak and you can tell the meat was frozen prior. It was still cold in the middle, very very VERY tough and chewy, and no flavor. The only good thing that saved it was the peanut sauce that comes with it. I am not sure if we were just unlucky that day but I would not go back to this place. The Cashier was nice and very direct with recommending food but it was no help. read more

Since my last review, I want to change to 2 stars The chow fun was sweet, juicy chow mein with fat noodles. Chow fun doesn't come with American broccoli . Not sweet or liquid juice. So disappointed. The fried egg rolls do not come with the sides. Lettuce, daicon and carrots Or cilantro. Just plain! I hope the owners read this and go to a "Real Vietnamese Restaurant " so they can know how to serve their customers! I'm so over ordering from them. I'd rather cook my own. read more

Since I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted the spicy or lemon pepper wings, they mixed them for me...that was a very good call. I highly recommend that. The young man bringing me my food was very kind and replaced my order when I realized that I had ordered the beef stew instead. Have to downgrade from 5 stars to 1. We called this place a few times before trying them, asking about their vegetarian options, making sure they dont use fish sauce. Every time we went there we reiterated that we do not wish fish sauce in our foods. After weeks and months, one time when the female cook picked up the phone, she said all their stews have fish sauce in them by default and it is impossible for them to make it vegetarian. That is nasty lying or sheer ignorance for months. I cannot forgive them. read more

Tonight dad was supposed to save dinner and that was not possible with this excuse for $19.83 combination chow mein. Ordered to go and paid. Once I seen item with my boys I contacted the person at the register, her response to me telling her there was a mistake was "that's yours and how we make that item." I told her about the excessive amount of cabbage chunks and lack of protein in a combination chow mein". I will not make a scene infront of clients even if I feel like I should. First time here and not the last!! Didn't get a chance to take a photo of the pho before I inhaled it! It was delicious! You order at the counter and sit where you want and they bring it to you. The pho broth was light and flavorful! The noodles were perfect and the veggies were fresh! The Thai tea wasn't too sweet either. The staff was friendly and nice and the place is pretty clean! I'm glad that Angkor had reopened. It took me awhile to get here but I'm glad we finally made it. They are a little different in that you now order and pay at the counter. Their menu isn't as extensive, but it is plentiful. I had the ground chicken and basil with a side of white rice. It has jalapeño but was not spicy. Had their Pho w / tendon & sliced beef- I feel their recipe uses a lot of hoisin, making it a little too sweet for my liking, but still a good Pho. Tried their Tom Yum w/ chicken, it was good, I did not like the tomatoes in it though. And a noodle dish with shrimp and chicken, this was ok. Had the chicken & basil dish, now this was delicious and was their saving grace. Tasted very authentic, as if I was back in Thailand, and may be the only thing that would bring me back here. Also tried their passion fruit strawberry lemonade, it was good, but had some soda in it. Wasn't expecting the fizz. Spent close to $100, so it was a bit expensive, especially for the quality of food they put out and the service. It's a "pay before you sit" type place, which is probably why service is lacking. read more
