Desperate for something to eat where everything around us was closed, I walked back to the restrooms, which were surprisingly cleaner than the bar. There was also a young man cleaning tables and floors in the restaurant. I thought for a moment it would be ok. We went ahead and ordered a couple of items. Beer was cold and didn't appear to be floaters. The lemon in my wife's drink looked ok too. Then from our angle at bar, we could see into the kitchen where the floor was littered with food, paper, etc. This made us uneasy. Food came out, my burger appeared to be a pre frozen patty, and overcooked. The rest was ehh. But seeing and experiencing the filth prejudiced anything we would do from then on. Quick correction: in the video, I mistakenly called it "sham sauce," but it's actually Asad's sauce. Once again, we had a soft, warm bun, a nicely sized piece of chicken, and a mild sauce on top. The sandwich tasted good, but I couldn't really taste the slaw, so it lacked a bit of punch--still decent, though. My regular fries were solid, but you can also get cheese fries or go for what False did: screaming hot cheese fries. I tried them, and they took my breath away--the hot sauce definitely packs some serious heat. I also thought it was interesting that False got his in a wrap, so you're not limited to the traditional sandwich if you want something different. When my fiancé picks up chicken from here it is always fresh and cooked well. I feel the breading could have a little more seasoning, but it's still pretty good chicken. He's a fan of the Jamaican Beef Patties and I thought the Gyro was pretty good as well. We don't live far from here so I look forward to trying more menu items.
