Most wonderful food. I most definitely recommend the spicy deluxe meal. I have quite the sweetooth making it undeniably scrumptious for myself to consume the chocolate milkshake. The chicken has been perfect every time and I have never got any fatty or chewy pieces. The waffle fries are also amazingly tasteful along with the Mac and cheese. The BEST and I mean BEST part is the seemingly unheard of fact that Chick-fil-a has never made me feel gross like other fast food brands do.(I KNOW, crazy right?) Absolutely would recommend. Today Monday October 28, 2024 at 9:45am-9:50am this morning I had decided to go to my favorite fast food restaurant Chick-fil-A that's just 1-2 minutes away from the hotel where I'm staying at for my mobile job. This Chick-fil-A is located in Wilkes Barre Township Address: 989 Schechter Dr Wilkes Barre, PA 18702 I been going to this Chick-fil-A at this location for this past week to eat and work my mobile job instead of staying and working from my hotel room that's where I'll usually go and spend most of my day working and being at peace at my favorite fast food restaurant. At approximately 11:40am while I was working my mobile job and on a phone call with someone while deciding what to order for my lunch there for the day i was approached by the owner Jeff Snyder and he proceeded to say the following "you can't be here all day just sitting here" "Using up all our WiFi " "You have to order something to eat and go" "unless you're going to be ordering and eating all day long" I then asked him how do you know I be here all day are you watching me? and Why are you rushing me to order? He then responds "His workers tell him" "Just hurry up and order something" Then he walks off, I was so shocked , lost for words, and disappointed ‍ this had happened to me at my favorite place of fast food. Just wow! I was so disgusted because I was on the phone with someone as this happened and they witnessed and heard everything he had said to me. I felt so uncomfortable being there afterwards i felt so harassed and felt him being very discriminated towards me. My day was just ruined by this so I packed my bag hurried up and ordered my lunch meal to go before he came back and went to eat it in the parking lot in my car I was too uncomfortable to even stay and eat in the restaurant while he was still there keeping an eye on me I couldn't even enjoy my favorite meal today. I don't understand if every time I come here to work I always order something while I'm working, I never used their WiFi but even if I did I am a guest and it's free for the guest to use correct? I finally found a Chick-fil-A that is truly horrible! I was suspect when I pulled up and there was not a single car in the drive through. I was like, this is VERY odd! 10 am on a Saturday should be packed. There were no people outside taking orders so I pulled up to the speaker and ordered an egg and cheese biscuit. The girl responded okay, one bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. I said no, just egg and cheese. I get to the window and they hand me just an egg biscuit. I understand how they messed it up because in the serving door a Hispanic girl and a Caucasian girl were arguing as to who had to go outside to help a guest. To top it off the biscuit was the worst I've ever had from a Chick-fil-A. I seriously doubt this establishment will survive without new management. read more

Where do I start... I was completely taken aback by Caleb's genuine kindness when I went to order in the drive through. He was so sweet and even gave me some of his favorite recommendations. People just aren't that nice anymore. When we got up to the window literally everyone working was so nice and friendly. I went here for the first time yesterday evening and I wasn't that impressed.... I had Chicken Nuggets that were lightly breaded... They weren't too bad but my waffle fries were cold and seemed to be a bit old as though they were sitting around for a bit... Another thing was... Dirty tables. I saw many of them including the one I was sitting at. For a busy place like this they should have a person constantly cleaning tables... Another thing was the seating really stinks... Lack of seating and the fact that the booths weren't attached to the floor so people move the booths. I was sitting there and a person behind me pulled the seat so he could get closer to the table and in doing so he pulled me further away from my table... The new Chick-fil-A opening has drawn tons of hubbub from the locals and I decided to check it out. Despite the packed parking lot and each of the drive through being full, I only waited about 10 minutes or so to order. The wait for the food was additionally about 10 minutes so about 20-25 minutes from walking in to getting your food on a Friday during lunch time. The facility and restroom are absolutely spotless, someone goes around sanitizing the place and cleaning each table relentlessly. Also there is a worker that goes around refilling your drinks for you, it's awesome! The chicken strips were on the dry side and full of breading which I don't enjoy. Additionally the dressing on the Grilled Cool Wrap was something to be desired. The spicy chicken sandwich and the waffle fries are classics and taste great for fast food! Highly recommend this Chick-fil-A over the one on the King's College campus! read more

I will start by saying I love Chik-fil-a and always have but this store is definitely one that does not match up to the normal experience. I can only assume it is a lack of proper management. My experience at this store is almost always with breakfast and my big issue is with their false advertising regarding the prices. Their drive-thru breakfast menu clearly has incorrect prices. Every entree price on their menu is priced incorrectly. My bill is always higher than what the prices are on their menu board. The prices they charge are consistent with the prices online but this does no good for anyone who just approaches the drive-thru and buys off the menu. I have brought this up on three occasions and no one seems to care. My coworker said he emailed customer service regarding this and no one has gotten back to him. This store consistently has very slow service. Two drive-thru lanes but only one person taking orders, so it doesn't speed things up at all and then usually a long wait for the food. I get that it is hard to find ANY help today, let alone good help, so I usually don't let it bother me because I am willing to wait for good food. read more

This location took their already god awful drive thru and somehow made it worse. Workers standing on their feet all shift taking orders where the order window is, hope they're getting compensated for that. Replaced the pickup window with a door for workers to walk your order out to you. Got my order while there was still cars in front of me with no way to get out until they all got their orders too. I've been to this location a few times as it seems to be one of my very few options for CFA. The food seems to be on point here but this is the slowest CFA I've ever been to. I'm legit typing this review as I sit in the drive thru line. I've heard them ask the past few cars to wait a minute before they take their order. Having moved from a place that has several CFA locations I can assuredly say this is not typical. Usually they are really fast. I will say the employees are friendly though. read more

On 1/9/20 I visited store #04091 (Wilkes-Barre Twp) and placed a substantial order for three adults at the counter of several menu items - the problem was that each of the three CFA Sandwiches were to have EXTRA PICKLES added to them. When I got home to eat the sandwiches there was only pickles on one CFA, the two others were plain. Each wrapper bag was labeled "extra pickles", so the counter associate got it right the problem was in the prep on the line. In addition the chicken on the CFA sandwiches seemed to be old like they were sitting around for an extended time. They weren't the golden crispy in appearance as the previous times I went there. I attempted to eat them and they were terrible! The chicken was totally dried out and stringy. Adding catsup didn't help, since my dinner was not the quality I came to enjoy from your store I had to trash the 3 CFA sandwiches. I tried calling the number on the receipt (570 822-7400) and it was a voice message (geez). I left a message as the recording directed, so far as of this write no return call. I would expect to have been followed up on by that store's manager in a timely manner. I notified the Corporate several days after trying to notify the WBTwp store, they replied via email that they will forward my grievance to the independently run WB Twp store. At this time I have not received any follow-up from the store but I am being patient. I felt better thinking that the Corporate level cared saying that they were going to send me a gift card well I bit. I thought they'd at the bare minimum replace the nasty three CFA sandwiches but they sent me a card for one - I take that as an insult. So they aren't any better then their franchise which btw still never contacted me about that terrible order they pawned off to me on 1/9/20. I'll go one more time to use up my rewards and the f'n one sandwich card then my visits to Chick-fil-A are done. I'm back to Popeye's. read more
