The Nashville hot chicken 'sliders' and fries were very good. For relatively fast food it probably took ten minutes or more for the food to come and there was nobody in front of me. It is a pretty plain location, but the outside seating was nice. The chicken was good and the portions were large. I've eaten here a few times and the quality has been very consistent and the food is really tasty. I prefer hot but there are two levels above that if you're up for it. Last night I stopped in just after closing and Bess at the front counter still let me come in and the kitchen staff all yelled and said it was fine to order. I asked for extra pickles because I love me my pickles, they put them in a extra container cup and plenty. You get to pick your "heat" for chicken . We had the medium and hot . I loved both couldn't stop eating! Fries were good they have a good spice to them. I ordered a side of mac&cheese which was yummy, nice and cheesy! If you are not a hot food eater do not go past medium, you will taste the heat trust me. If you are like me and can handle the heat try the hot, if you are feeling brave then go all the way to the angry hot lol. Customer service was good, the chicken itself was good and well cooked. To me the chicken was the main highlight and if I went again I'd probably just get strips. I got Hot level and it wasn't anything big. I'd compare it to like a jalapeño? People were crying about the lower levels but if I went again I'd get xhot or even angry for sure. They talk big but won't cleanse you with burning fire like some of the local thai places. Mac was only ok. The cheese wasn't interesting and didn't really have any texture. Could have used some spices or better quality cheese to make it more than a scoop of cafeteria mac. Doesn't compare to some local spots like TBG and When Pigs Fly. Bun and slaw on the slider were again just ok. Had no desire to finish them once the chicken was gone. Fries were good when hot with nice spices, crispy outside and soft inside. This place is no joke! We tried almost the whole spread because it's a bit out of our way, but everything sounded so good! If the girl at the counter warns you that Hot is HOT, listen to her! We thought we might be able to handle it, but we were completely wrong! Unless you're trying to be on fire, Medium is truly the perfect heat level. The loaded Mac and cheese is DANK! I've been to Nashville and this holds up to the real deal. Great chicken, great flavor and big heat if you want. DONT GO TOO SPICY.... unless your ready to pay the price tomorrow.
