If I would have rated this place my first time here two years ago, it would have barely received two stars. This time was a completely different experience. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Eric and seated. He sat us in a private cozy nook but we asked to move to the booths with tv viewing access. Eric took the time to explain the menu and offered his suggestions. He greeted and checked on everyone. As he spoke to people, he would thank them for coming back and converse as if he was speaking to old friends. The customer service was superb. My husband ordered a michelada with Michelob Ultra. He said it was a few degrees shy of having ice in it, who doesn't love a cold beer! For dinner we ordered the gumbo with sausage, red beans and rice, and the twin lobster rolls. The gumbo had a dark roux. It was decent but the spice level was a bit much for me. After about four bites, my husband took over. He enjoyed it. Next was the red beans and rice with sausage. The flavor was good. My only complaint was the sausage pieces were too big for one bite. Lastly was the twin lobster rolls with Cajun fries. The fries were crispy and I'd compare them to Charlie's. The roll had generous portions of delicious lobster. We chose a hot roll but they do serve it cold if you prefer. The basket is served with a 2 oz helping of melted butter for you to drizzle on your rolls. The flat top rolls were buttery, soft, and grilled to perfection. Overall, we enjoyed them but they were missing just a touch of something, maybe a spice, I can't pinpoint it. I would definitely get them again though! The food was all hot and fresh. I overheard Eric telling another customer they don't have heat lamps and everything is brought out as soon as it comes off the stove. The location is in the center of booming shopping centers. This is a great lunch or dinner spot that welcomes casual family friendly dining. I'm glad we returned, we will be back. read more

We went early around 1130-Midday so there wasn't much of a crowd. We sat and had waiters come ask us for our order. My drink took won't say forever but it did take a while. I just kept seeing the staff behind the bar and thinking Oh here it comes and it never did. Drink tbh was not the best. Food also took a while to come out. Idk if it's because we went around lunch but again the place was empty. I got softshell crabs I should've read it a bit more but it definitely needs a piece of bread.Basket came with fries and they were not that good.Everything was definitely lacking seasoning. Friend got red beans and rice with his Catfish basket. Idk if they're meant to taste like that but to me they(beans)had a burnt taste to them. He also mentioned how he only got 1 piece of catfish. Usually baskets come with 2 or more and was surprised since my basket did come with 2 crabs. IDK it's one of those places you want to like since the area doesn't have many seafood places but won't be coming back. read more

Service was great maybe cuz it was dead only 2 tables when I went . The ambiance is calm and chill again it was empty . The food not to big of a fan the calamari was not great and shrimp with the very very hot sauce were great . The crawfish were big but they were cleaned properly a lot of them I could see the dirt still on them im assuming because it was during the week and dead they probably slack off on cleaning them . The sauces are great I enjoyed what I could probably wouldn't go back . But maybe service is better on the weekend better food quality . read more

I ordered my food online from here for pickup. Once I got there the hostess told me they hadn't even put my order in yet. So I waited for them to cook it. Then, they told me the initial crab they were going to cook was expired and they were going to cook me some fresh seafood. Then, they were about to give me potatoe salad instead of my requested cole slaw in my order. He reread my order, and realized the mistake and replaced the potatoe salad for the cole slaw. When I got home to eat, the Cole slaw had a sour smell to it, was brown and milky looking. The fish had to be cooked a bit more because it was so soft it was sticking to the bottom of the paper. The egg in the boil was brown and either was old or overcooked. The dungeon crab didn't seem fresh. I paid for 2 clusters of dungeon crabs and only received one. When I called to ask for a refund for my order, they refused even when I offered to bring the food back so they could see. The entire order had an odor and seemed like it wasn't fresh. I'm assuming it was some day old food or order. I am highly disappointed as seafood is my favorite. I've eaten here before and was satisfied. I hadn't been in a while and decided to try it again and I noticed that the establishment was mostly empty. I really wish I had a better experience. read more

We went this past sunday. Initially, we had a fair experience. Our server was kind and she did a great job. The food was even a fair quality. The establishment had tables that needed to be cleaned but i didn't think it was a red flag. Later that aftetnoon, I started having stomach pains and needed the bathroom FREQUENTLY. Then, at 5AM, my son woke up screaming and crying in pain. It was so intense that I questioned if he had appendicitis. My sister called me later that morning and said her and her son had the same issues. The manager was informed and all we really wanted was a call back to show some kind of concern for our situation. They NEVER called. We were told there's nothin they can really do for us by the kitchen manager. And the only reason we got this response was because my sister drove up there the next day. This is damn good crab! Damn good crab! Smash down the king crab twice in 2 days. Both times go with all the seasonings light on the spice. Talk about full flavor! The king was fantastic in that seasoning just made it blow up with flavor. For, as much as you spend on the crab, you shouldn't have to buy more potatoes and corn, but it is what it is. We were promptly greeted and seated at a table in the bar area. I was starving! So we get straight to ordering! Now, I love a good SPICY boil and the spice level was on point! The shrimp and crab weren't over cooked at all and the flavor was amazing! I had 1 cocktail which was good. Overall, everything we had was delicious. The service could've been more attentive as we had to ask another server to track down our waitress, but it wasn't bad enough to ruin our meal. This food was not worth the money. We had crab boils and our orders were all wrong and the sauce was not very flavorful at all. The meat was cold and its wasn't even busy, there were maybe 5 people there. Overall please don't waste your time and money, we spent almost 150$ for a very mediocre experience. Tried this spot out recently and what stood out the most was the service! Our server Jess explained the menu thoroughly and everything came out very quick, the manager also came to check on us which was very nice. We ordered the snow crab legs and the head off shrimp combos which came with a corn and potato. The trifecta sauce was good but I wish the boil itself was more saucey. The ambience is cool they had the Texans game playing on a lot of tvs which was nice. Love that they offer bibs and gloves with the seafood boils. The restaurant has lots of seating inside, and a large parking lot. Overall the food was pretty good, I would like to try their fried baskets next time! read more

We eat a lot of seafood and the TRIFECTA here is AMAZING! I could literally have licked the tray. We liked the set up how we could make our own personal plate or add to one of theirs. This was my first time being here, just happened to walk in for happy hour/a day that they had drink specials as well. They sat me in the bar booth and I had a draft Karbach I don't know the flavor, I was trying to get something similar to the Eureka Heights Buckle Bunny. Bartender didn't seem to know the beer because this one was a darker ale. Not even close to Buckle Bunny. She was very polite and took my order. 1lb head on shrimp in ____ idk what heat they put it in Trifecta (Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic) Corn, potatoes, cornbread: So the bartender told me to get 3 Burning lips with a side dipping sauce of 4 Angry Ghost (reaper), but I think the cook read it wrong or didn't want to do it because my eyes were watering. I had to ask the new bartender between shift change to hurry up and bring me the cornbread! Because I was literally crying. Shocking only took off my lipstick. Ha. They finally brought out the cornbread it was good but didn't help with the heat. Finished the beer and went for something sweet Tongue on the Groove cocktail. I don't really drink liquor so it was strong. Asked the bartender what we could do to save this? (Since I still had to pay for it) He didn't know what to do, was going to add more pineapple and grenadine. I was like it's already sweet enough, what about sprite. Thank god that worked. They togo-ed the drink with a lid and some tape. I didn't know this was allowed. 1 Dungeness crab (the whole crab) in mild Pacific rim: this was the balance the heat, it was good but I probably should've gotten no spice. I'm guessing this was a male crab, wish I got one with eggs. Ate nearly everything except 6 shrimp. Was probably sitting there a good 2 hours...lol I will come back again this is the 2nd place I have found in Houston that can proudly stand behind their heat levels. read more

My husband got me takeout and I asked for the twin lobster rolls ($28) but I'm gluten-free, so he asked for just the lobster meat. What I got is not lobster. There was a claw in there, but the rest of it was this stuff. I'm pretty sure it has breading, whatever it is. I have spent a great deal of time in Maine and am very familiar with lobster. Good food but the service was slow. After we sat down more and more pride showed up. It's a popular place for crawfish boil with options to have shrimp, scallops, crab, clams, or mussels. Potatoes, cornbread, and corn are separate. As an appetizer we got the fried oysters but they never arrived. The watermelon mojito is very good although I didn't taste much liquor but I didn't mind much. The modelo negro tasted a bit watered down too. The lobster roll is very good and so are the fries they come with. They're crunchy and a tiny bit spicy. We also got cornbread which is a small piece with some honey. It was fine though, it ended up being enough to fill the spot. I got the shrimp without heads because they ran out of the naked version, with scallops. You get to pick the sauce and how spicy you want it. I liked the lemon pepper with no spice. Since it was pretty busy our service was slow but our waitress was nice. Came here for the first time for a work meeting. There was only one waitress working the whole dining room and bar. She did an amazing job with what all she was doing. She was patient and stayed calm. The restaurant itself was nice... they play zydeco music and it has cute decor. Now the food was not good. I had the fish and chips. There was no flavor to the fish, the fries were the best part... at least the seasoning was... oh and it also came with red beans and rice, it was different... kind of sweet. But it was cold.
