We were in the area and needed somewhere to eat fast. My research here showed that it had good reviews. This location did not disappoint. The drinks, the outside and the meal were good. But the live entertainment on the patio brought it all back together. The glaze on my Brie burger was divine. It was crowded so the service was a little slow but not too bad. I hope we are in the area again to go back.

First time coming here very delicious! We sat outdoors. Staff friendly and on top of it.

French dip with Au Jus and hand cut French Fries.

So I'll start with my honest experience as a food lover. We ordered the shrimp wontons and would say this about them! Well done! Executed nicely. The filling was delicious. Negative was the sauce. So I barely used and would for sure order the shrimp wontons again. My beautiful wife always almost will order the French Dip sandwich. Huge sandwich, so we shared. Execute well. Stack of what I assume was house made slices roast beef. Caramelized onions on baguette. Lacked (in my opinion) was seasoning. So I assumed the Au jus would bring the flavor...it did not. Execution of the food is well done. Just needs seasoning. I happen to order beef gravy for my french fries and just mixed that with our au jus and that seemed to help a lot. So gravy is delicious. That was my only reason for the 3 stars. I was treated with a warm smile and quick service. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the weather.

    Nachos at Lebanon Pub...delicious!

Food is amazing, cocktails on point, staff very nice, very popular spot - be ready to wait. Brick interior, rustic Americana feel.

The service is very great and there's nice atmosphere, but I'd stay away from any menu items that aren't standard bar fare.

Oh Suraya. You will see me again! Came here for brunch and had such a great meal. I ordered the…read moreSamke Harra (branzino fillet) and Halabi Kabab (lamb kababs) from the Taste of Suraya menu. Both were really good, and the portions are generous enough that I actually had food left over to take home. After you place your order, you get a spread of hummous, baba ganoush, labneh, muhammara and taboule. All five were delicious. My personal favorites were the baba ganoush and muhammara. One thing to know is that the amount of spreads you get is based on your party size, and they don't keep bringing out more once you finish them, like they do at LaserWolf. If you're a carb lover like myself, go easy on the homemade pita (so good!) and order a side of the za'atar manoushe. And the Lebanese chai latte? Perfection! I'd come back just for that. If you've been to LaserWolf, Suraya has a similar flavor profile and some similar spreads, although you get five spreads here. The biggest difference is the way the food is served. Unlike Zahav or LaserWolf, where dishes are constantly coming out to the table, Suraya is more about fewer dishes with larger portions. Personally, I really enjoyed that style because it felt like a satisfying, full meal. Service was efficient and attentive. A couple of tips: make reservations because this place can definitely get busy. Also, parking can be a pain, so plan ahead. Take the closest parking spot you can realistically handle walking from because trying to find something within a block or two of the restaurant can be difficult. Overall, really good food, generous portions, great flavors, and definitely worth coming back to.

What a great addition to the neighborhood! Authentic Lebanese Cuisine in the middle of Hempstead!…read more We started off with their complimentary olives & pickeled radishes; refreshing and a great palate cleanser. Then we were served Pita bread; not the soft & fluffy kind but more of a thin pita pocket type. This pita went so well with the spreads! Here is our menu (shared by 3ppl): ~ Baba Ghannouj ($10): outstanding. The smokey flavors were mouth watering. Recommended! ~ Fattoush Salad ($15): very good; fresh veggies with a fresh herb dressing. Another great palate cleanser ~ Samboussek Jibneh (feta cheese dumpling) ($12/4pcs): loved these! The dumplings are deep fried but weren't greasy at all. This was a treat! ~ Lahme Meshwi (grilled filet mignon cubes w.rice & veg) ($40): I thought this dish was a tad bit overpriced but great nonetheless. The filet mignon was so tender and prepared perfectly. The rice and grilled veggies were good also. ~ Kaftan Kebab (grilled minced lamb kebabs w.rice & veg) ($25): the kebabs were very flavorful but could have used a sauce. I ate some with the Baba Ghannouj and it was wonderful. The assorted grilled Vegs were great. Note that they do not serve tap water; must purchase bottled water. Beit Zaytoon is located in a small strip mall, so there is plenty of parking available! Recommended, and I would definitely return to explore other menu items!

I ordered the lamb chops while my husband had the chicken shawarma, and both plates came with rice, vegetables, and a fresh salad with a homemade dressing that was incredibly tasty and unlike anything we've had before. The drinks were homemade too - we had the lemonade and iced tea - and the presentation of everything was beautiful, right down to the mint sprigs in the glasses that added such a nice touch. We were served by the owner, Elias, who was warm, personable, and provided impeccable service the entire time. Even though we didn't order dessert, he surprised us with baklava on the house - delicate flaky layers topped with honey and pistachios that were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a relaxing place to enjoy great Lebanese food, Beit Zaytoon is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is comfortable, welcoming, and not cramped at all.
