I came here with my bf and a few friends and it was a decent bowling experience, to start of the ambiance was nice everyone was nice but a lot of mid older people like 40 and up. For us taht didn't bother us because everyone was doing their own things. Do not get there piana colada it was very liquid and not really good, there strawberry margarita is a Purdue too so it tasted a bit weird, so maybe just stick with the soda products or beer. As far so the overall experience it was a nice time and highly recommend is you want something a bit calmer environment. They advertise having the best wings outside of Buffalo, but honestly, they may have been the worst wings I've ever had. The texture, flavor, and overall quality of the wings were all disappointing. The grease had an old, heavy taste that just coated your tongue and lingered long after the meal. To be fair, the server was very nice and the place itself looked clean. I also can't speak for the rest of the menu. But if you're going because of the wings, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Surprisingly for being attached to the bowling alley, it is really good. Even their steaks are cooked perfectly and delicious.

I was there on Friday 4\27 sitting at the bar with a few business owners. The foul language coming out of the kitchen was horrific, appalling and disgusting. The "N" word should never be condoned or said at a business by workers. The screaming on how "we are going to hold up food" is ridiculous. After waiting about an hour for food, that was less than mediocre. The ignorance of the staff to laugh it off, was found to be disturbing to me. As I walked thru the bowling alley to use the bathroom, I heard bowlers talking about what was said. I was extremely uncomfortable. When we first moved in this little restaurant attached to the local bowling alley was the first recommendation we were given outside Pizza. I won't lie I was skeptical but it's unlike the bowling alley food you are accustomed too. Dine in or Take Out you can enjoy everything from wings to a salad and it's all good. A great neighborhood bar & restaurant, with great service & classic sports bar menu. Their weekly specials are always featuring a nice balance of new and classic items with a twist. They recently started to feature Piedmontese Beef items from Arctic Foods (a local meat shop down the street) to the specials menu - such a great thing to see at this place!! Fantastic wing selection - meaty, plenty of wings to eat & a great assortment of wing sauces to try. Burger & fries were decent. The menu has lots of good choices & it's evident that this place is pretty popular judging from the amount of people who came in to eat & were not bowlers. My one complaint is the wine choice - only 1 brand & it's a pretty crappy brand - Barefoot. Hard for me to support this restaurant with not having a decent wine to drink. Can't believe there are no reviews considering how popular this place is. Yes it's a bowling alley lounge that looks like it was decorated by the same person that did set design for the Golden Girls, but the food is darn good, especially for the Washington NJ area. We ate there on a Saturday about 5:30 and got the last table. Ordered the chicken parm ($15) and a cheesesteak ($9) and both were fabulous. Much better than the Washington diner. The house wine is overpriced so if you plan to drink, go with a beer or a margarita instead. read more

The wings and beer alone are worth coming here. They have 10+ wing sauce choices and have a good amount of meat on them. The specials during football season for wings and beer are great. For a bowling alley they have great food, for a restaurant they need to improve. I often go here with my friends and the food is good if you are ordering in a small group. If you are part of a group of 6 or more good luck. You will wait forever for your food to come out. Half the party will have their food while they are still cooking the other people's food. Delicious food at a bowling alley - seems strange! I like the Italian dishes and the boneless wings best. The wings are high quality and there are 15+ sauces to choose from. My husband likes the burgers and the prime rib. The curly fries are addictive! Becky is fantastic - always friendly and accommodating. They run great food and drink specials on Sunday for football, so we often watch Steelers games there, since we can't get them at home. Jets games are usually on the projection screen. read more

We always had good luck here in the past but last night not so much. We waited almost 90 minutes for our meals and it was nothing elaborate. Two other tables who arrived after we were already seated were already checking out before we were even served. While my corned beef was tasty it came with some strange brown bread instead of the advertised soda bread, which I was really looking forward to. The fried shrimp was incredibly dry and TINY and the fries were cold. Would have sent it back except we were starving by that time. Never again will I go in a holiday! read more

Consistently the best burger! When rating the burger I am referring to the entire package to include the bun, meat patty and topping. The onion rings are also second to none. I put the onion rings on the hamburger selection of my choice to complete the excellent hamburger experience. read more

While in the area for family reasons, this ace has become my hangout. The food is all great and the beer is good and cold. The wings are by far my favorite in NJ. more than that though, I'm more happy about the staff. Dave, Becky, Amy, Cathy and everyone else is so friendly. That's a huge part of anywhere I go. Always quality food and service. They have a typical bar menu and the drinks are reasonably priced. During football season they always have specials and a number of tvs to watch the games. The only downside to this restaurant is the restrooms are at the other end of the bowling alley. read more
