Stopped in for lunch on Black Friday while visiting family in the area. The place was pretty busy and we sat in the bar area. Service was terribly slow the duration of the time. There was 1 bartender and 1 server covering the area. It took forever to have our order taken and to get to water and or food. I wasn't impressed with my meal either. I had the aged cheddar grilled cheese. There was barely any cheese on the sandwich - it was 95% apple slices and fig jam. They didn't even bother to take the sticker off the apple. I would not recommend this dish. My husband enjoyed his french onion soup; his Reuben was average. My family member enjoyed their steak sandwich. Maybe they had their holiday crew working given it was Thanksgiving weekend and that's why our experience wasn't that great. The fact that you lost control of your emotions, raised your voice, and cursed at paying customers, heck even telling us to "try me" is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. All we did was point out that you served the wrong drink and asked for the correct one. You claimed you were "too busy," yet we observed you spending much of your time laughing and chatting with other staff instead of focusing on guests. From the moment we arrived, we experienced poor service -- starting with having to wait for "clean glasses" before receiving our drinks which was about a 15 minute wait. Despite being polite and patient throughout the evening, we were met with rudeness and hostility when she slammed down our tab onto the bar requesting us to close out because of her mistake. Lexi, professionalism requires composure and respect. If you cannot control your temper or treat customers with basic courtesy, then perhaps this industry is not suited for you. I had their caprese grilled cheese. I would say the best part are their sweet potato fries. They're super generous with these!! I would say the actual sandwich was pretty standard, nothing to rave about.. with it being $17 I expected more from it. It's a good place to meet with friends casually though. Had our food delivered with DoorDash. Which was very easy. The soup I had was loaded baked potato but was more like watery mashed potatoes. Just picked up a takeout order and so disappointed with some of the food. Added a piece of salmon $12 (farmed) to a salad $8 and this shouldn't have even been served as it wreaked of fish smell (not fresh) and it tastes extremely fishy, which it shouldn't, and means it's bad. $20 for farmed raised salmon on a salad is very expensive and top if off with being bad fish. My family is in town visiting an old friend and Panthers Pub was her choice for dinner tonight. Live music on the patio on a Sunday evening under beautiful blue skies with scattered white fluffy clouds....what a grand experience. We enjoyed our meals and have no complaints what so ever. As I limped my way through the front door the hostess looked at me in a way that I thought she was going to offer me a wheel chair and while I do not need one I would have gladly taken the chair during this visit. After hiking 20+ miles locally I needed to refuel my body because I was hurting so badly that I limped all the way to my seat. This place seemed to have a really decent amount of seating space as well as outdoor space but it was too cold for any outdoor dining. After I placed my order I saw two other people limping to their seats and I laughed because as I asked why they were limping their reason was the same as me, hiked 20 miles. Panther has an "Adult Happy Meal" on the menu and no it doesn't come with a happy ending but to my surprise it did come with some Booz. You get a selection of some sort of mixed brew from the bar along with a shot of whiskey to go along with your burger and fries. Pretty neat idea that I totally bought into. The best part of going here is seeing how great the staff is. The place was crowded but the staff were working like crazy to take care of everyone. The heavy smell of B.O. came from one of the diners... at first I thought it might have been the hostess who was tireless. Went here for a little break with my wife. Atmosphere is always good around the bar but can get noisy if sitting in this area. Food is always fresh and hot. I ordered the double cheese burger (with blue cheese) and my wife ordered the French dip. All prepared well but if you like your burger medium or medium rare, the double cheese burger is not for you. The patties are thinner and so they say you won't get any rarer than medium well - which is what I received. I like my burgers medium to medium rare. They would be better off just giving you one larger burger to your desired rareness. The French dip was very tender and not chewy but again I think overcooked. My wife liked it. On the way back into NJ from shopping at the Crossings in PA, my wife and I were looking for a nice place to stop for food and drinks. Panther Pub fit exactly what we wanted! On a cold late Saturday afternoon in November, sitting by the fireplace with a college football game on tv in front of us, the experience was great! To start with the drinks were great. Nice beer selection for me and the bartender knew just how to make my wife's Toasted Almond. My wife had the angus pub burger and I went with the spicy ahi tuna tacos. We both really enjoyed our meals! The tacos had just the right kick and my wife loved the bun the burger was served on. To top it off, we split a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. This is a cute place that I stopped at for a burger after a day of hiking in the nearby mountains. This is a nice intimate setting. The dining room is large, but most people that day opted to sit outside. The have a very nice selection of draft beers, both local and imported. Went to the pub last night after a long holiday season. I've been there a few times before and never disappointed. Had a quick burger as did my wife. It was good. We went to Panthers Pub since it was right off interstate 80 and there was a sign for the place. I read all the reviews expecting the food and service to me GREAT. However, it seems that only the service met my expectations. Service was good and they catered to kids. Very unexpected since it's a pub. They had crayons for kids to use on this page with activities on it. Plastic drink containers for the kids. Hospitality was great. They turned on the tv when I asked them to for the kids to watch. What was lacking was the food. We ordered different things on the menu such as potstickers, shrimp & farro, and short rib ragu. I didn't have any of the potstickers, but the kids did and they gulped it all up. But how can one go wrong with potstickers? Anyways, the shrimp & farro had a weird taste to it so I had to cover it up with salt, pepper and hot sauce. It did the trick. The short rib ragu was really tasteless. Meaning no salt and unflavored. I mean presentation was nice, but what about the taste??!! Nothing else to write except that the cook has to taste things before sending it out to the patrons. Meh. So it was my first time and I ordered the shrimp skewers with quinoa, steamers as our app. Steamers were good with garlicky butter and chorizo. The skewers were anemic. 6 shrimp??? Not big either, looked like 16-20 per pound shrimp for 22 bucks. Needless to say we will not be going back for 1/4 pound entrees. Good reason to cook at home more often. Food is usually great. Service is hit or miss. We've been several times. While dining in, they forgot to put my order in but got the orders of the other 5 people I was with correct. It took awhile for it to come out. The waiter was very apologetic. Other times we've ordered out and were told 20 minutes. I arrived 20-25 minutes later and both times had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes. The one time this happened, they brought out the order and forgot to tell me. I had to ask if it was my order.
