We didn't come up with a close by card store, but there was this comic book store we decided to stop and try. The owner was very very nice. Easy to talk to. He said no, he didn't have anything as far as trading cards go, but he suggested some other places to try. Lots and lots of comics on the shelves, and there were quite a few people inside browsing and chatting with the owner as well.

One of the most beautiful written and beautifully drawn comics of 1999. Smax #5 by Alan Moore. All of these Alan Moore comics on America Best Comics are gems. Alan Moore getting his 2nd wind and having fun with comic books again. Coup D'etat #1 Written By Ed Brubaker; Art By Jim Lee, #2 Written By Micah Ian Wright; Interesting event storyline where The Authority seizes control of the US Government. This TPB is out of print and since Micah Ian Wright was fired by DC and blacklisted from comics for stolen valor everything he's written has stayed out of print. The Authority story with art by Jim Lee that DC will probably never ever reprint in our lifetime. And some FCBD Greatest America Superhero, Superman, ect. Great store and great customer service.

They're really helpful. They have a few long boxes set up in the front with 1 dollar comics and 5 dollar graphic novels in the front of the store. Singles are kept in the 1$ long boxes which include a lot Marvel, Image, Valiant, Ultraverse comics from the 90s, you'll also find some DC and vertigo titles as well. Sifting through these boxes gave me flashbacks of when I was a comic collector in the 90s. Towards the back left and back wall of the store, you'll find shelves of graphic novels, omnibus, and other collected editions. Back issues are set up on a large table in the back. You can find a mixed selection of different titles from Silver age to modern. I found surprising inventory of certain title runs. I have a bit more exploring to do in this store. Crush carries good comic storage stuff - boxes, bags and boards (BCW brand) on the right side of the store.

We were on the look for one piece cards and they had a great variety of the brand new set that released and I bought one. It was nice to know that its 5 packs per player available though. A card and game shop in the Alameda area…read more I was in town and a friend brought us here to check out. Although a small shop, you can tell that they have their local favorites come through. There were some people playing in the shop when we came in. Because the shop itself is small, this made the shop already pretty crowded and a bit hard to navigate through. They had some cute stuff after looking around. I mainly collect Pokemon cards just for fun (not to play) so maybe this wasn't more of my speed for the card shop. I got to see some of the things in their binder and they had some cool cards. The prices were pretty okay and I did pick up two cards. My friend that lives in the area comes here because he says they usually have things for a good price so that's good to know!

We actually stopped by this week, and they were very kind to let us look around their merchandise inside, especially at a time that was later than their closing time (letting them know in advance). I'm more into cute plushies, and they had a wide range of those items. My friends are more into Nier and Persona games, and they also had figurines/plush for those series! The staff were very friendly and are experts in many anime and game series you may be looking for. Definitely want to see them in conventions and even their own location :)

We sat in the car to enjoy our lunch, then went back to the store for more bargains. The bookstore has some outside vendors too. Me and my fighter was walking around the front display looking and the guy working there still says nothing. Not sure how much the cards are if any as the guy was not very attentive or was mute lol. Definitely one and done this is the second shop in the area I've been to that is horrible on this side. I'd go else where or drive further to other places for more options.
