Angry Gyros isn't located in the best area, but that's how you know the food is good. Most small businesses in the hood are the ones cooked with love and serve big portions. And we were so right! This place just opened and there was only two pictures on Yelp, but we like gyros so we just went for it. Lamb & Beef Salad 5/5* This salad was so huge, piled on with juicy chunks of lamb/beef gyro meat, crisp lettuce, refreshing tomatoes, and drizzled in that delicious tzatziki sauce. I saw another guy complain about the amount of sauce in his review, but I honestly loved that they gave a lot of sauce, enough to spread to the lower layers of the salad. The meat wasn't shaved in thin slices like other places, but were cubed so they were juicier, had more texture, and you can taste the seasoning. Veggie Samosa 4/5* This came out piping hot straight from the fryer. The potatoes inside were fluffy, mixed with I don't know what type of veggies, but they gave it some flavor. The shell was crispy and light. I wish there was mint or tamarind chutney to go with it though. The spicy sauce that came with it tasted like a pico de gallo and was watery, so the samosa didn't dip well with it. Portions are great for the price. I got a gyro salad and it really hit the spot. Food came out hot and fresh and within 10 minutes. I would go here again and perhaps try the platter that comes with rice. The service was professional but I will say the location isn't ideal at all. It's inside of a bit of a sketchy parking lot and the inside is not the nicest. There's a couple of tables inside but again, not the ideal spot that you would want to dine in. Menu is 100% halal, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. The only thing from me really giving it a 5/5 is the vibe and location. However, I will try a couple of other items as take-out to try more of the menu. read more

Therefore, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when my wife suggested that we indulge in Greek food for our weekly cheat meal. We have tried the Nick the Greek restaurant close to our home (please reference my reviews if necessary), so my wife wanted to try a new establishment called Angry Gyros. Utilizing DoorDash, we ordered the following: two Lamb & Beef Fries, Lamb & Beef Gyros. When I opened the door and smelled the alluring aroma of our orders, I knew that we were in for a treat! The fries were very flavorful and filling, so filling that I couldn't fathom eating it all in one seating. However, I was very surprised and pleased the next day when I reheated my gyro and it tasted as delicious as I imagined it would have the previous day. Also, I have to mention that I didn't feel "weighed down" by the food, which is generally a sign of quality food. I highly recommend Angry Gyros! read more

This is my experience off door dash. We got during their happy hour which was a deal. However it doesn't taste as good when you bring it home. I requested no red sauce but they still drizzle it on, and it was pretty spicy. The lamb meat was a little salty. But other than that, the plate was good. This place just tastes like cat food. Same ownership as NY Gyros on La Rivera. Owner Moe is insane to open more locations. The salad was made with only iceberg and was super cheap, just like the rest of the meal. The rice had a terrible flavor and tasted like Vic's vapor rub. So disgusting, it was incredible how disgusting it was The customer service was fine , the employees frequently are making the plates incorrectly or just flat out disgustingly, forgetting the sauce or putting insane amounts of spicy sauce. Cashier was having conversation with another about something on their phone. Didn't acknowledge me for at least 2 minutes, and I was the only one in the store. Cashier was dressed in pajama bottoms and slippers and apparently makes the food. While she was taking my order she was scratching her armpit, then proceeded to prepare food. The food was not good. The meat was cut paper thin and almost the size of peas. The sauce I think was made with mayonnaise not yogurt like traditional. I got a beef and lamb bowl to share and it was so incredibly salty, even with lettuce, cucumber and the yogurt sauce, (not sure if it was supposed to come with tomatoes also?). The meat and rice were also quite oily. The flavor was nice, esp the rice. The meat was more of a cripsy gound meat texture instead of nice thin slices which I don't prefer and its hard to get a feel for its flavor too. read more
