Had a great time at the cider house. The staff were all knowledgeable and kind. There were plenty of photo opportunities and activities to take part in. It's very lively especially on a weekend so I highly recommend getting there before 1pm to beat the insanely long lines. You do have the option to bring your own chairs and/or picnic blankets because seating is scarce in comparison to the large crowds. Food is decent nothing to rave home about but once you've had enough ciders the food will taste phenomenal. The donuts on the other hand were so delicious. They were warms soft and not overly sweet. Will definitely be back next year for apple picking and ciders

You need to sign yourself up for the best cider donuts. They offer peanut butter and jelly. They offer cannoli, which was phenomenal to say the least Nutella and I'm pretty sure there's one more and I don't remember it. Service is great here. Everybody is smiling talking to you. Explain explaining to you each cider flavor if you are confused so many different flavors offered it's very interesting and if you want like a cool Sunday, you don't wanna be in the house when the weather is better than this cold weather that we are going through right now as it is December pick up, go hang out there. They have areas where you can pick up board games to play and you can even hang out in the fire pit area. Definitely a must see while you are in upstate New York between the spring and summer and fall highly recommended. The property is enormous too. It's very cool vibe.

Wow what a great family friendly place to visit. Many activities to choose from as well as great food and drink. The staff are super nice and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful location with great cider and food options! It was the perfect Saturday activity! Their cider donuts were also so delicious. Cool place to go with friends or family!

Great experience! I have never been but all my friends love it. It was PACKED but we still enjoyed. The drinks were delicious and the food was even better. Lines for both were long. Food took nearly an hour but the yuka fries were a stand out. Would love to return!

We visited Angry Orchard in Walden on a sunny June afternoon and it was such a great spot. No food trucks that day but the cider flights were really good and the views were beautiful. We really enjoyed trying ciders we'd never seen in stores, like a small bourbon aged one with cozy fall vibes. Only about an hour from NJ/ NYC and perfect for a chill day trip. They also have a tree house on site that does tastings but it wasn't open that day.

Love the cider and atmosphere here. Biggest drawback? Every time I visit, it's at least a 30 minute wait for drinks. And food? Even longer in a separate line. I don't know why the bar and food are positioned the way they are, but I've never been here when it was properly staffed without a massive line for drinks. I basically get a drink, then get back in line for my next round. Wish I could actually sit and enjoy being here, because it's dog and child friendly with epic views.

I loved it here!!!! Came on a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend with the hubs and it was lovely. The staff/bartenders are friendly and well informed. There's plenary of indoor and outdoor seating. You can do a tour, visit the treehouse, or do as we did and enjoy the lawn and live music. The band playing on Sunday was a whole vibe, Soul Sense, and added to the awesome atmosphere. We had the Bud Break cider, and the Crispy Apple with a brown sugar cinnamon rim. They let you sample the cider before you make a decision which is great, and they have flights. They have a food truck with some delish eats. We had the pizza and it was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. We will def be back!

We visited Angry Orchard to try their cider donuts and a cider flight, and it was pretty good! The cider donuts are an absolute must-try--fresh, warm, and best enjoyed right out of the oven. The cider flight was pre-set and included American Holiday, Spiceman, Crisp Light, and Blueberry Rosé (from left to right). If you're not a fan of dry ciders, I'd skip the American Holiday, but I really loved the Crisp Light & Spiceman--they were light, sweet, and easy to enjoy. This is the perfect spot to spend the day with friends or a date!

Beautiful orchard- it's a big but still charming. Nice spots to sit and enjoy some cider, beautiful trees, welcoming of dogs...

I came with a group and had such a fun time. This was my second time here and it was good vibes all around. We shared a flight, grilled cheese that came with chips and a pickle, a large pretzel that came with jam, mustard, and maple cream cheese, and a sugar waffle apple tart. They rotate ciders and the menu depending on the time of year. Everything was fabulous, but my favorite thing was the sugar waffle apple tart. I can't even put into words how good it was. One of the best desserts I've ever had, just try it for yourself. Will come back time and time again!

I love angry orchard cider so I really wanted to visit. The place is great and very lively. Downstairs was where the action was on a Saturday in January. Many gathered for a drink, sack and live music. I had hot apple cider which was delicious. Upstairs was quieter today with people hanging out, drinking and chatting. Outside there is seating and heat lamps. I hear it is beautiful in the Spring, Summer and Fall when you can enjoy the weather.

Came here to getaway from the city for a day and it was lovely! Make sure to arrive early and bring your own picnic blankets so you can find a nice spot to claim. Be prepared to wait long lines for everything, but it was worth it to just enjoy the nature around and spend time with good company.

Ask the Community - Angry Orchard Cider House

Are there still free flights of cider?

Not free! $16 for the flight, and there's two menu options

Do they have beer/wine or just ciders?

Hi there! We currently only offer hard cider.

Has anyone been here recently and if so are they offering flight sampling? Is it worth the trip from NYC and what is their cancellation policy for reservations since they require a $10 hold.

No flight sampling when I went early this month. As for cancellation they just request to call or email but no further details.

What do you recommend to tour in the winter time? Any accommodations close by to stay as well?

We went during a gloomy, cold November day and did the Stone Barn tasting and it was all inside and very comfortable. Also, I think the tour is mostly inside too!

Does anyone know the name of the pizza food truck usually stationed here?

Is it this one? Martinelli's Pizza Trailer

Is it worth coming here on a day where there's a chance of rain? Is there enough seating indoors?

Hi! Yes there is enough seating indoors if you go on a rainy day. Hopefully, it doesn't rain all day the day you go though as the outdoor space is so nice especially with the fire pit. I hope this helps!

Do they allow cigar smoking outdoors?

I'm really not sure if they allow smoking of any kind. Maybe you should give them a call. It can't hurt to ask.

Me and a couple of friends would like to go down but some aren't old enough to drink would they be allowed there at all?

Yes but not on the treehouse tour. The 21 and up tours they cannot go on.

    Are dogs allowed?

It's says no on the website unless they are service dogs

Are there any TVs to watch football?

    No- there are no TVs.

    Can you bring your dog?

Call to ask. I didn't notice any when I visited

Do you need to make a reservation for the tour?

    Yes

Would this be an appropriate place to visit for a vacationing family — four adults with two little ones? Considering a daytime/afternoon visit.

I'd say yes if your kids will love running around outside playing on the lawns.

Had a fun fall day at Weed Orchards and Winery this past weekend with my friends!…read more First off, I'd recommend buying tickets online beforehand because they are cheaper when you buy them online. Upon coming in, you will be guided by the workers on where to park. The parking lot is on a field of grass right in front of the entrance. Prices on the bags vary depending on whether you're apple picking, grape picking, or flower picking; as well as the size of the bags. This orchard consists of different types of activities such as fruit picking, hay rides, dining, drinking, playground for kids, and a small animal farm. They have plenty of drink options like, beer, wine, cider, and non alcoholic beverages. Their cafe menu is limited, but they have a food truck if you want more options. My friends and I ordered... 1. Black Cherry hard cider on tap: This was good; not too sweet and not too strong in terms of alcohol taste. Rate 7/10. 2. Chicken tenders w/fries: The tenders and were fries were average; it tasted like your classic tenders and fries, nothing special. Rate 6/10. 3. Truffle Fries: These were yummy! They had a strong truffle taste which was delicious. Rate 8.5/10. 4. Beef Empanadas: This included 2 empanadas and they both were very tasty! The flavor was great, and the breading was super crispy! Rate 8.5/10. *all the food portions were a generous amount; however; they were a bit pricey.* Lastly, they have a small bakery w/ their baked goods, homemade jams, and ice cream. From their bakery we ordered... 1. Apple cider donuts: These come in 6; they were warm and soft, and had a great apple cider flavor. Rate 7/10. 2. Peanut Butter Cup Cookie: This was delicious! It had a strong peanut butter flavor which I love; and the cookie was nice and soft! Rate 8.5/10. Overall, this orchard is such a fun place to spend time with friends, family, partner, and your dog since it is pet friendly! There are so many awesome things to do, and lots of perfect photo opportunities! I'd definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for an exciting fall activity to do!

Parking was easy to find, and it's across the street from the actual brewery. There's a lot of land and I like that they had cornhole and a cute shop with local goods and merch. There's a mix of outdoor and indoor seating, and we sat indoors since it was chilly (it's dog friendly). There is a sizable food menu, so we ordered the kale caesar salad and the capocollo pizza. We also got a cider flight and hot cider (not spiked but you can get it spiked). I looooooved the food, it was so good! Our salad came out pretty quickly and our pizza came out a bit after we finished eating the salad (they bring it to your table). I wasn't a fan of the hard ciders, but I loved my hot cider. There's also two gender neutral restrooms available indoors, as well as a cute array of ciders and merch for sale. I would def recommend coming here!
