We've been here twice now- the first time was Nov 2020 at night and the second time was last weekend (April 2021). Both times we had a great experience here. I love that they grow most of their own hops and other ingredients, and the outdoor space is really nice, with lights strung up above you. The beer is good and consistent. I enjoyed the IPA they had on tap and M enjoyed the rye and the red ale. You order inside their tasting room, where there are a few small tables for indoor seating. They also had tables set up in front of the tasting room that were covered, then they have a large outside area with picnic tables and other seating arrangements. When we went the second time we couldn't light any of the firepits due to a burn warning in effect. The first time we went, it was later in the day and the food truck had run out of food. The second time we went, we had better luck and ordered from a Thai food truck. Food was great and they accepted Venmo, which is always a plus. Check their FB page so you know what kind of food truck they'll have. Overall, we would return when passing through the area. It's a good find! read more

Such a nice place! They had plenty of beers to choose from and even had wine, cider, and seltzer options if you don't drink beer. There was a Nacho food truck on the day we went which was also great. Plenty of seating as they had a large tent set up with tables and chairs. We even got to see the two cats on property who were adorable. Great way to spend a low key afternoon. read more

Visited this place after our hike at Storm King trail. I choose this place because of their outdoor space since the weather was so beautiful. To my surprise, they did not allow dogs, but my dog was the service dog. It was beautiful there, the food from food truck was good. We had chili fries. Beers were all tasty and we really enjoyed this little farm spot. read more

Came here again and while it is still an uber cute cabin setting in the rural back roads, with an adorable porch, some things have changed. I didn't see the small freezer this trip around with Hemlock Hill farm staples. The other big shocker was the new permanent sigh on the building that said 'dogs not allowed.' SAY WHAT?! Just my last trip here my dude and I sipped on brews while playing table games AND we had the chance to meet three different pups. All I can think of is that perhaps there was an incident of some sort but like... why hate on all dogs now? And the other thing that left me salty was when I brought in a bag of chips with a vegan dip. I had just popped the jar when the beertender came over to tell us no outside food allowed. I get it. You have a food truck and want that to generate some extra revenue. All good. But do you have decent vegetarian and vegan options? No. It's not like we walked in with a spread from KFC. Cut us some slack that we had a bag of chips and a vegan cashew dip ya dips.. read more

Great location, great scenery, great beer, amazing food from homemade pizzas to the most authentic Thai food in the US, great staff, great music! So why only 4 stars and not 5 (and this is fixable) Long Lot to me is the type of place I'd like to camp out at for a while; enjoying the gorgeous rolling hills and gardens with a 360 degree view of natures beauty. Patrons and staff are friendly, beer and food are just so delicious. But if you get there and don't snag a table with an umbrella well it's not that great roasting in the sun, it's quite intolerable. If every table could have an umbrella that would be awesome but nothings perfect and well these guys here are pretty frickin' close so I'll still enjoy coming to Long Lot for many years to come!! read more

It's so awesome to have a new brewery in town! We stopped in here the other day and I was pretty impressed. They had about 6 beers on tap and I thought it was a good assortment- two IPA's, one red, two versions of stouts, and then a beer from Rushing Duck brewery. All pints were $5 each. I tried the Glacier Juice which was pretty good- it wasn't too hoppy and didn't taste strong, but yet it had 7% alcohol. My fiancee loves stouts and he really enjoyed their milk stout. The space is small but they utilize it well with bar seating and table seating. They have games for patrons to use. No food or food trucks on the menu, and I'm unsure if you can bring your own. They seemed pretty laid back so I'm sure you could. The highlight to me was their outdoor seating, they had a cute porch with tables and chairs set up. Perfect for warm weather! read more

I wanted to give a generous 3.5 but you can't do half stars on Yelp. The location is great. Outdoor seating and some covered. Bar service was efficient. Choices on a black board. You can leave a credit card. There was music and the best part about the place was a food truck Bunz on the Run. Awesome food and prices! I was more disappointed by the beers on tap. Maple porter (in a can) was awful. Others were average for a micro brewery. Best beer was a Belgian Strong Ale - River Chain. Give it a try. Great overall vibe. read more

The five stars is strictly for the ambiance. I love that it's basically a house with a huge backyard that we can all sit in and drink. I love that this is in the middle of nowhere next to a farm. The beers are 4/5 stars. I like that there is options besides IPA's because they are done to death. Every one is incredibly friendly here and I enjoy when they have their little mini festivals. Not sure how new of a brewery this place is, but by their basic tap list, it seems pretty new. They had some good basic beers that were done well, but in a world of craft beer, nothing really stood out. I noticed they are growing their own hops in the back which is really cool, and the whole brewery had a farm to glass feel. We would have had no idea that this place existed, people at Rushing Duck said we had to come check it out. Like I said before I wasn't blown away by any of the beers, but I would drink all of them again. Next time I am in the area I will definitely come back. read more

Big fan of this place. It's nicest in the spring/summer when you can sit out back and enjoy the quiet countryside, sip some of their fine beers, and order some food from either the food truck or the pizza wagon (both are good, but the cuban sandwiches from the food truck are the BOMB!). There's also a comfy front porch that is even more enjoyable if you don't like being in the sun. Indoors, it's quaint and small, with a few tables and a pleasant vibe. Every beer I've had has been great, and they rotate often with different seasonal creations. We've been making a habit of going to Rushing Duck and then Long Lot in the same trip-makes for a fun time! Do not miss this place!! read more

Let me preface this review by saying I work in the restaurant industry. I thoroughly understand the "behind the scenes" of this business as I've worked at several bars and restaurants the past 6-7 years. That being said.... the location is beautiful. They have a great beer selection... but the service is less than satisfactory. I'm sure others may disagree, as it seems there are certain guests they know and serve exceptionally. But overall, the service to the average guest was less than warm&welcome. When your location is a lax, serve yourself vibe, the little guest service you DO provide should be above&beyond, not disappointing and uncouth. As someone who works in a restaurant and serves tables, I know how important your treatment of your guest contributes to the likeliness of them returning... and I won't be returning here for that reason. read more

Cozy brewery in the middle of a farm. I enjoyed sitting on the porch when the weather was warmer and listening to the chickens crowing and now that it's colder, it's nice to head in and get warm by the wood stove and hang with friends somewhere more homey than most other bars. I love the habanero stout made with peppers from the vegetable farm next door and can't wait for it to be back on tap in the summer! If beer isn't your thing, they also have local wine. There are often food trucks and the weekends and I like that this whole place is dog friendly, especially when the weather is nice and you can enjoy the large back yard! Hanging out on the farm feels like you're a million miles away, but I didn't take long to get here at all! read more
