Beer is great. Dog friendly inside and out. Large Beautiful building and a fantastic view of the Hudson River. Bartenders are the best. Food trucks are there and are super tasty.

Nice, open winery/cidery with a private parking lot and reasonable prices. Good for small or larger groups. They have inside and outdoor seating. They usually have "Pop's Place" food truck outside, which is also great!

    Incredible cherry cider!

Locust grove brewing company was one of if not THE most pleasant and wonderful brewery experiences I've ever had. Not only are all of the beers and ciders incredible (and you can get flights of any combos you'd like), but the atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting. It's a huge open space with a beautiful outdoor area overlooking orchards. The staff were all incredibly friendly, there were games, big tables, small tables, high tables, low tables, and everything in between! The only issue with locust grove... you'll never want to leave! And bonus - there's a rotating food truck outside for a snack between drinks. 10/10 highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood!

Locust Grove Brewing Company is a fantastic local brewery with gorgeous views of the Hudson River. The place itself is super clean and new looking. They have a pretty decent selection of beers and ciders. I recommend getting a flight to get a taste of a few! I particularly enjoy the pumpkin spiced cider which is available in the fall. They have picnic tables and Adirondack chairs outside and I have seen people bring their dogs as well! And while you are enjoying the scenery and your drinks they have plenty of games to play including an indoor shuffleboard table. There are light bites like chips and hot pretzels to purchase and sometimes they will even have a good truck outside for additional options.

A great addition to the HV! Beautiful views and a great selection of beer and ciders! the space inside is great as well, with lots of seating for different party sizes and games! love the live music on the weekends and the food trucks available. Family and dog friendly!

I'm close enough that it's a short drive, but far enough that it still feels like an escape. My perfect summer afternoon starts with grabbing a pizza from Stone's down the road, then wandering over here for a couple of beers while the day slows down. The beer program is exactly what I want from a neighborhood brewery. They nail the flagship beers, sprinkle in enough thoughtfully crafted seasonal releases to keep things interesting, and never try to overwhelm you with a tap list full of gimmicks. It's clear they care more about brewing great beer than chasing trends. If you've got kids, bring them. The co-op gardens are fun to wander through, there are usually a few well-loved toys scattered around, and they'll inevitably end up exploring, getting a little dirty, and having the kind of unstructured afternoon that's getting harder to find. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, because spots like this don't come around often. But places this good deserve to be supported. Grab a pizza, order a pint, let the kids roam, and just enjoy the day

They were setting up live music as we were leaving under the tent. Nice spot to walk around and the inside has a small bar that's seats 6. A dozen tables outside with some shady and some under the tent. Bartender/owner is well versed and knowledgeable. Such a cool place that you would never know is there! Would we come back, heck yeah in the fall this would seem like such an amazing spot.

We were told by the ladies at the front door that they have heat lamps, to our surprise they did not. It was freezing cold upstairs! As soon as we arrived on the rooftop the lady at the rooftop entrance rudely asked us if we were sure we had a reservation even after we heard her receive a page on a walkie talkie that said a reservation of a party of 9 was just sent upstairs. We confirmed yes we did have a reservation even though half of upstairs was empty. She gave us two tables and we asked if it was possible to get one more table since we were very squished. She did not want to give us a third table, however a gentleman who worked there told her to just give it to us... since it was half empty upstairs. She then followed to have an attitude and threw the drinks from the neighboring table on the floor to clear the table... I don't know if this is common there to throw half drank drinks on the turf, but it felt very rude and disrespectful. We felt unwelcome by the staff and ended up deciding to leave. We are very disappointed in this restaurant that our graduate from Marist University raved about and wanted to spend her graduation dinner at. Never again will we give this establishment our business. To make it worst, as we walked out she had the audacity to say "have a good night" in a snarky tone.

After we walked in one of the waitresses informed us that we can sit wherever we want. I instantly felt like I was inconveniencing her with my presence by the way she said it. Didn't take it personal just yet. What appeared to be the hostess came over a few minutes after we sat down and handed us menus that were very dirty. I looked at my husband and said I am ready to walk out of this place bc I am starving and it looks like they are too short staffed right now which is understandably out of a businesses control sometimes. But wait, instead of the waitress coming to our table to bring water or ask us if we would like a drink, she went to another table with a man and a child that she obviously knew well, and started eating their french fries and talking. That's when we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. So unprofessional. That couldn't wait? I hate to leave a review like this, but if I was the owner of this business, I would not want someone like that working for me, representing what seems to be a great place.

They have a short tap list on a chalk board over the bar area but a massive bottle and can list. Truly a beer enthusiast paradise. Prices vary but pretty much run $6-$9 per beer.
