I ordered a chicken spiedi salad. This is one of the best chicken salads I've had in a long time. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and shredded on top of a huge salad. Terrible. I drove there to order 2 cold subs, it was hot and I didn't feel like cooking, So I went in, placed my order, paid and told them I was going to wait in the dining area. There was no air conditioning in the store with the sun beating in, the temp in the store had to be close to 100 degrees. After waiting close to 10 minutes, a fellow came in and ordered a pizza. He got his pizza before I got my subs, even with me going to the counter and asking for them (I was told it would be just another minute). Ordered 2 dozen wings. They were big and that is about all I can say good about them. They were bloodshot and several had feather residue. Visiting Bath NY this weekend and decided to try this place. Man am I surprised! I ordered a meatball part sub and loaded fries. Both were really good. I usually say meatballs in restaurants r usually pretty generic a lot of ball with very little meat but this place had very good meatballs and just the right amount of seasoning. It also had a lot of cheese which I love. The loaded fries were awesome too! A lot of cheese again and a load of bacon. My friend that's here with me ordered a chicken spiedi salad. She eats a lot of chicken salads but was surprised at this one, it was delicious! The seasoning they use for the chicken was delicious! And she loved the fact that it was shredded which seemed a bit strange but turned out to b a great idea as it gave every bite a bit of chicken instead of having chunks which u often eat first then r left with a bit of lonely lettuce. Over all my only issue was I would of liked 2 cups of ranch for my loaded fries but that's very minor considering how good everything else was. Used to be so good! Recently, they raised prices and the food (wings especially) is just not nearly what it used to be. We were told a price, only to have my boyfriend go get the food and be told that they gave us "old menu pricing" so it'd be about $15 more than what was quoted by phone. Not to mention, they were out of what we originally ordered and had to tell us as much about 20 minutes after we placed the order. Couldn't eat the wings, no one in the house could handle the overbearing heat with no true flavor. Not the same service or quality I had when I first started going to Angry Oven. So we have a new pizza joint in Horseheads... Angry Oven debuted this weekend and takes over the short lived Filippi's, ex-Jerlando's building on Old Ithaca Rd near Byrne Dairy. A friend tried them out on opening night and raved about their pizza and, of course, wings. I'm not a fan of spicy things but he said their house "Angry Oven" sauce was a "sweet heat" and phenomenal. His recommendation was to dip the pizza crusts in it as well... But on to OUR experience tonight: We ordered their specialty Chicken Ranch pizza in XL and an order of plain wings with BBQ and their house sauce on the side. The XL pizza almost didn't fit in the standard pizza box -the box sides folded up the pizza an inch or so. As with any brand new business with new employees learning new equipment there can be a learning curve - it took about 40 minutes to get our to-go order and the pizza was cut pretty wonky (some slices were 3 inches wide and others were about 8 inches) but hey, our 3 year old was fine with the smaller ones. Loved the thin crust and really enjoyed the flavor of the Chicken Ranch pizza. The Ranch wasn't overpowering and I thought I tasted bacon in it but I'm not sure. Everyone devoured the pizza. The BBQ wings were very good and I even tried a taste of the house sauce. It has a nice sweetness followed by what I'd consider a moderate hotness to it. If you like hot wings then I bet you'll like this sauce. The menu is pretty extensive. Pizza, subs, calzones, stromboli, salads, pasta dishes, fish fry, a quesadilla, an intriguing sounding cheese steak & egg sub and a big list of appetizers. Here's hoping that the Angry Oven continues to make us happy customers and finds success where others have failed. So far, so good. read more

Some of the best thin crust in Bath. They actually have a great section of premium flavor pizzas. Though a bit pricy for some menu items, it's great pizza. Not overly greasy and great flavor. Simple pepperoni is my favorite. I wouldn't go for the subs though. read more

Asked for wings to be cooked crispy and they all came under cooked. medium wings had hardly any sauce on them and the garlic wings were just sitting in butter with absolutely no garlic taste. We found Angry Oven Pizzeria on a random Monday night because all of our usual favorite places were closed. We're glad they were closed -- because we've discovered a hidden gem. Our large party of 12 rearranged the dining room to accommodate our group and the management team took our work in stride. Our pizzas, wings, salads and sandwiches were all delivered in close succession so no one had to wait for food. I tried the salad (huge), Bunny Balls (yummy, trust me) and the Carnivore Pizza. I'm kind of fussy about my pizza sauce (unsweetened) and crust (thin) -- Angry Oven pizza makers and I are on the same page. Overall a great dining experience. Ordered a Pizza and wings 3 weeks ago. Took 3 1/2 hours to deliver. When it finally got here it was obviously flipped upside down and cold. Still paid for the bill and left a tip as the driver promised the next order for the same amount would be on them. I liked this restaurant a few years ago when it was under different ownership. The pizza was good. Service was good. And free refils and the soda wasn't seltzer'd down that much. Plus they had a TV set in the corner. Then a new owner came in maybe 2 years ago and that flopped. Then another new owner appeared and renamed it Angry Oven. For the first few months it was fine. But in the last year or so the quality of the food really went downhill. I go in there for a few slices and a drink. The slices are lukewarm at best and the drink has way too much seltzer plus no free refill on top of that. I've been in there a few times and I keep thinking that maybe it'll be better but it never does get better. Plus every single time I eat some of the pizza, I get a case of the shits maybe two hours later. I ordered for delivery once because it was the closest pizza place and I made it very clear I wanted a Sausage pie. That was it. And somehow when I got the pie it was half cheese and half Sausage. I don't know how you can screw that up. Honestly, go to the gas station just down from this restaurant if you want decent pizza. And that's sad. read more
