I decided I wanted some pastries on my way over to my aunt's house and went to yelp to find something. I was expecting a pandaria where you select your own but Anguiano's had everything pre-packaged. Don't let that fool you though, they were very fresh and delicious. The 5 star rating is for the employee (owner, probably) who greeted me immediately and began to explain everything when I told him I'd never been to the bakery before. He was so friendly and proud of his product I grabbed a few more than I would have normally. He said they start baking at 2:30 in the morning and sell until they are sold out that day. I came in around 11am and they still had plenty to choose from, so not sure what it looks like earlier in the morning, but it was also a Thursday. This hidden gem is located on Cherry Hills Blvd. & Bradley Rd. in the Sun City Shopping Center, towards the back next to Sun City Family Restaurant with plenty of parking. They have a variety of Mexican, sweet-style baked goodies (Pan Dulce) to choose from such as 'Conchitas, Empanadas, Sugar Cookies, etc'. I got to try their slice of 'Pastel de 3 Leches'. Everything tastes amazing here and complements perfectly with my coffee. I like that their pastries are pre-packed for customers to grab. The owners are extremely welcoming, providing great customer service and making sure that their pastries are fresh. Not a huge selection but I did go around 3pm on a Friday and seems like everything is baked daily so I am sure if u go early that is the best time. They had a pumpkin concha which looked soo cute. Great bakery. All of the bread/cookies are delicious. Everything is made early that morning so everything is mega fresh. It's not like a traditional bakery where you can just go and pick what you want and put it in a tray. It's all prepackaged in bags and once they're sold out, they're sold out for the day. You either have to wait for the next day to get that days baked goods or place a special order for pick up. The conchas and mini conchas are top tier. They do NOT skimp on the topping which makes them that much better. They serve you the bread they (and you) wish you would get when going to other bakeries. When you walk in, it's real small and super cute inside. Everyone is mega nice. The only thing I personally don't like is that when you place a rather large order to go, they charge you for each box to place all the bread in. You're already spending a decent amount of money on the bread, the box should be included (I mean, you're placing a large order, you're gonna need a box to take everything). read more

This cute Mexican bakery is such a find!! Stopped in after lunch around the corner and was on a mission for some Mexican cheesecake. Sadly, they didn't have any, but they sure did have many other things that I picked up, lol! Adrian, the owner, is so welcoming and very friendly! He was showing us what he had left for the day, as some things tend to sell out early in the morning. You'll find all kinds of yummy treasures here, and my favorite has to be the little rolls that have cream cheese in them. I wasn't gonna say it, but Adrian himself said that they're similar to Porto's cheese rolls, lol!! YASSSSSSS!! I also picked up some caramel and pineapple filled empanadas. They're big, too. Every empanada I see these days is so freakin' small! They also have pretty coconut gelatin desserts in the refrigerator. I wanted the blue one, but... I'm just not a coconut fan. =( I appreciate this small business for their efforts in keeping prices low, especially in today's economy. Phenomenal experience. Adorable little spot with traditional flare. Upon entering the business I was greeted by a kind young woman. She proceeded to explain the process of how they make their pastries and why it's made in batches that keep the integrity of their product; fresh. I left with a little of what they had left for the day. Many to gift to others so they can come back and support this family owned business. I hope more people discover their delicious conchas. My recommendation is that you guys need to be at the street fairs selling your bread. Temecula, Murrieta and the Murrieta hot springs. Couple that with the friendliest service, pre-packaged for freshness, fair prices, and best tasting... and you've got the most incredible treat around.
