This hidden gem is located on Cherry Hills Blvd. & Bradley Rd. in the Sun City Shopping Center, towards the back next to Sun City Family Restaurant with plenty of parking. They have a variety of Mexican, sweet-style baked goodies (Pan Dulce) to choose from such as 'Conchitas, Empanadas, Sugar Cookies, etc'. I got to try their slice of 'Pastel de 3 Leches'. Everything tastes amazing here and complements perfectly with my coffee. I like that their pastries are pre-packed for customers to grab. The owners are extremely welcoming, providing great customer service and making sure that their pastries are fresh. It's always a positive experience at this small, family-owned bakery and recommend it.

Custard filling was to die for

I've known Anguiano's Bakery for a couple of years now, and it's truly one of those hidden gems that never disappoints. Whether I've stopped by their shop in Sun City or picked up their pastries from local festivals, the quality has always been consistent and incredible. On my most recent visit, I picked up a little variety -- from their sugar-coated pastries to their cream and pineapple-filled empanadas -- and every single bite reminded me why I keep coming back. The cream-filled empanada was pure comfort. The crust was golden and slightly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, with a silky, rich cream that wasn't overly sweet -- just perfectly balanced. The pineapple jam empanada was bright, fragrant, and fruity, with that tangy-sweet flavor that pairs beautifully with the buttery dough. You can taste the care and tradition in everything they make. Even the packaging was neat and thoughtful -- each pastry sealed fresh, ready to enjoy later (though honestly, they never last long once you start eating them). Anguiano's isn't just a bakery -- it's a little taste of home. The textures, the aromas, the flavors... all remind me of classic Mexican pan dulce done right. From their friendly service to their perfectly baked goods, you can tell this place takes pride in their craft. If you're anywhere near Sun City or Menifee, go here. Whether it's for your morning coffee companion, a sweet after-dinner treat, or a dozen pastries to share with family, this bakery is the real deal. Highly recommend the empanadas, conchas!

It was my first time at this place and we went there 30 mins before closing time. I got conchas and vanilla custard filled pastries. They tasted great. The shop was clean and organized. The owner was very sweet. We ate our pastries at the coffee shop around the corner since they didn't have drinks.

Owner Adrian is AWESOME and soooo friendly!! He hooked us up! =)

This cute Mexican bakery is such a find!! Stopped in after lunch around the corner and was on a mission for some Mexican cheesecake. Sadly, they didn't have any, but they sure did have many other things that I picked up, lol! Adrian, the owner, is so welcoming and very friendly! He was showing us what he had left for the day, as some things tend to sell out early in the morning. You'll find all kinds of yummy treasures here, and my favorite has to be the little rolls that have cream cheese in them. I wasn't gonna say it, but Adrian himself said that they're similar to Porto's cheese rolls, lol!! YASSSSSSS!! I also picked up some caramel and pineapple filled empanadas. They're big, too. Every empanada I see these days is so freakin' small! They also have pretty coconut gelatin desserts in the refrigerator. I wanted the blue one, but... I'm just not a coconut fan. =( I appreciate this small business for their efforts in keeping prices low, especially in today's economy. I spent just $10.50 on a good amount of yummies, and he gave each of us a freebie! Thank you so much, Adrian!! We appreciate you, and I am looking forward to picking up more baked goods soon. Stop by if you find yourself traveling on the 215. It's conveniently located off the McCall exit. You're welcome! ;)

This is truly a Mom and Pop shop, small business, Latin & locally owned, that must be preserved. So many of these treasures go under and this family works hard to bring authentic pan dulce to the Menifee/Sun City area and I hope they're here for the long run!! We've been in a few times and they do run out quick but if you message them they take special orders. Like today, I picked up heart shaped conchas for Valentine's Day that I ordered the day before and they were fresh and ready at the exact time I was told they would be! Thanks to the Anguiano's Family Panadería!

Third time for me was a charm! Finally stopped in this early morning and grabbed a good variety of their offerings. Adrian was there and was welcoming! Everything suggested was delicious! Concha was still warm and perfectly soft :) Thank you again and i'll be sure to be back for the tamales!!!

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

But my visit was so memorable that I will never forget about it!…read more Faith (owner) really has something special in Windomar, CA., just off of the Clinton Keith exit of Interstate 15. Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--

At first glance, the store is very bright, and the menu is pretty self-explanatory. A staff member greeted us right away, was eager to assist, and explained how everything worked. I ordered the salted caramel crunch and one of the mint specialties. When we arrived, there was only one couple ahead of us they ordered through the kiosk, while we placed our order with the associate. The ice cream-making process is so cool. it's a show all on its own. If you have kids, this is definitely a fun treat. The business looked well-kept and clean. I would recommend having another team member assisting with orders, though.
