Recently I was in the area with some friends when we were craving some ice cream! So we made our way over to this Cold Stone Creamery location. Let me start by saying that Michael and the one other employee deserve a raise! It was just the two of them on a bustling Friday night! The line was up to the door with in-person customers. These employees still were extremely kind and quick, even when other people in line were rude towards them. Management needs to help support these employees by hiring more people! The line was only the length it was because one employee was working on in-store orders while the other one focused online. They were very quick for the amount of orders they had coming their way. Overall, I was fine waiting in line with my friends and our orders came out perfectly thanks to Michael! Sidenote: For some reason seating is not available still at this location, so do not expect to have anywhere to sit here! read more

Just got home from this ColdStone. We go there every almost every Sunday to get three 'Gotta have it' size ice creams. Usually, the top has to be squeezed on because the cup is so full. This time it was not so. At $31.77 for 3 servings, I expect a full dish of ice cream. This time they were slightly under the rim of the cup, not heaped up and full. Nice tidy way to double the profits! also a great way to lose a customer that spends probably $96/month at your shop! When my wife said , " You can fill them up" the girl merely smirked and continued at her current level. I doubt we will be back unless I get a half price coupon for my next visit. My husband and I have been to this location a few times. Every time we've gone the man that works behind the counter does nothing but yawn every two seconds, and he does it obnoxiously too. He was putting together a pick up delivery, wiped his nose on his hands, and then continued to put it together (he wasn't wearing any gloves for any of the orders). When he took our order, my husband asked him to wash his hands throughly because 1. it's disgusting, 2. it's a health code violation, and 3. my husband is immunocompromised. Stopped by after seeing a movie next door, the worker was on his phone behind the counter (fair enough, the store was empty), he took my order, but the icecream was so melted in the case that a portion of my scoop fell off the counter. He didn't replace the icecream lost, just continued. Added the toppings, stopped to respond on his Apple Watch, folded it over and went to put it in the cup. Because it was so melted the icecream fell right onto his hand where he proceeded to use the scooper to slide the icecream off of his bare hand and into the cup where it fell out the side some more. He plopped the icecream covered cup into a bigger cup and gave that to me. I left the store and threw it directly in the trash. I'm not eating my ice cream off of someone's bare hands while he types on his phone and Apple Watch in between serving me. Incredibly upset and will never be returning. read more

I go to this location fairly frequently and I am disappointed with the lack of ice cream I'm receiving for 10 dollars. If I order a got to have it, I expect it to be over the top of the cup like all of the photos that you see hanging around the store. Nothing wrong with the food itself, but the place is obviously not clean and I was half afraid to eat anything that came out of the building. The gentleman who was working also did not have a professional demeanor. He wasn't rude but he obviously doesn't have the strong suit of communication. He was swearing and making inappropriate jokes which didn't bother me personally but he's going to end up on the wrong side of a bizarre confrontation one day. I've always like cold stone but sometimes it is a hit or a miss. The location is great especially for our family fun day, but it is just kind of dingy. It isn't really the most friendly either. I hate leaving one star reviews. Really. But this is easy. Even looking beyond the outrageous prices that one expects when walking into a Cold Stone, the entire experience was miserable. We went here to celebrate the end of the school year. Upon arrival we were the only patrons, yet still waited at least five minutes to see the only employee. My daughter, very excited, told the employee, "Today was my last day of kindergarten!" To which the employee rolled his eyes and said, "Cool..." in a very disinterested voice. To add to this, they don't allow anyone to remain seated inside, and my THREE YEAR OLD was admonished for stepping in front of a flimsy rope to get a better look at the ice cream because the employee was clearly petrified of getting COVID. Aside from the ice cream being good - there's not a lot to like about cold stone. We have such limited options in the area and sometimes you just want "plain" ice cream. Went the other day and I stepped back in time to March 2020. No seating, no availability to use bathrooms, makeshift plexi glass walls everywhere. I felt uncomfortable and knowing how untouched everything was made it seem dirtier than safer. We weren't asked whether we wanted lids or not I guess because they don't want you to eat inside so they closed all of our ice creams with lids they started melting before we got them because they wouldn't give them to us as they were made to order. Oh and no samples so don't bother trying to try something new. Overall it was just very uncomfortable and I'm not sure how a business that is part of a chain is still operating in such a manner in 2022. Website states open till 11pm. I arrived with my wife and 2 young children that were excited for their treat at 10:02 pm to be yelled at while opening the door that we are closed. I have been there in the past after 10pm so I immediately stated it's listed online as being open and he rudely pointed to a makeshift sign taped on the window right next to the actual hours. Arrived to pick up my pre-ordered cake today. I called from my car, as I selected curbside pickup. There was one guy working in there who rudely told me to come in for it. So I Went in and he had his mask below his nose the entire time. At one point he pulled it down below his mouth while talking to a customer. I've been in this Cold Stone Creamery in Warrington Crossing a few times over the years, mainly before I go to a movie at the Regal Warrington Cinema next door. Each time it is a decent visit. The prices are a bit higher than other ice cream parlors like Dairy Queen but the ice cream is pretty good. Unfortunately since the Lansdale location closed down some years ago it is the closest location, so I try to stop in when I can. read more

I've given this locations a lot of chances but my experiences have either been it's empty and there's one employee in the back that takes a while to come to the counter and doesn't give a greeting or it's packed with one MAYBE two employees and a super long wait. The ice cream is super expensive and I've never been impressed with the amount of toppings put it. I came at a good time before there was an insane line. The employees were kind and quick. I ordered the mint ice cream (chocolate sauce and Oreo cookies mixed in) in a waffle bowl & I ordered my boyfriend a small vanilla and chocolate milkshake. I thought the ice cream was delicious but regretted ordering the regular size because it was huge and I wasn't able to finish it. On Sunday, we were on our way to an open house. Went in, picked up a cake, and there were about 4 ppl in front of us in line. One girl was scooping ice cream and working the register while a man (16-18 years old?) was labeling toppings in the back. It took the young lady 20min to help 4 ppl, while the boy was hiding from customers. I was so angry, was about to take names and call the manager. Absolute worst customer service. read more

My boyfriend and I were very excited when visiting Pennsylvania to be able to have Cold Stone. They closed up in Austin years ago. Sadly, we both left saying, "Cold Stone used to be better" and debating whether the male employee was on drugs or just had really awful customer service. Seriously though, the kid could not communicate at all and acted like he either hated ice cream or people with intensity. Worst experience i've had in my entire life. I ordered a cake at the Warrington location, a week in advance. Went in to order, the manager there had his ear bud listening to the football game( he told me himself that's how i know) rushed me through the order to the point where my daughter(bday girl) and i walked out and had no idea what we really ordered. I told the guy i wanted half vanilla and half chocolate cake with banana icecream. That's literally all i knew about the cake. Told him i would pick up friday at 5 pm. I get there at 5:05 pm Friday, pay for the cake at which point the lady tells me her manager is in the bathroom and when he comes out he will talk to me. Same "manager" that took my order, walks out of bathroom and i swear i don't think he even washed his hands. Looks at me and tells me "your cake is not decorated. Come back after 6:30. So i said well i live 45 mins away and have things to do for the party i can't just come back after 6:30. So i ask.. can't you just decorate it really quick to which he says he doesn't know how to decorate cakes. and walks away. Then comes back and tells me that i said pick up was Sunday. I said absolutely not! U were too busy listening to ur game in the ear bud because i never said sunday my daughters bday was Saturday. I have been ordering cakes for years never have i ever mixed up my pick up dates. Absurd!! Then i asked if i can just get it not decorated i would do it myself and he says they wouldn't do that. So then he called the owner. Manager packs my undecorated cake and tells me i have to pay $46 for it plus tax. Now mind you i had already paid the original price of $63 for a finished cake. So i said absolutely not i will NOT pay more than 30 for the unfinished cake so i want like at least $30 back. Not only would i have to buy the stuff to decorate with, but my time, my drive there... i speak to the owner who then proceeded to tell me either i take a $15 discount ( not even really), wait for him 30 more minutes so he can come decorate it( had been in the store 45 minutes already) or i don't need to get the cake at all. Mind you very very rude on the phone. So basically those were my options. So i absolutely refused to buy the cake for nearly $50. Oh and yeah i ordered half chocolate half vanilla, well it was one layer chocolate one layer vanilla. So i said i ordered half and half because not all people like one or the other." Manager" said they can't do it that way( bs cause the last time i ordered that's what they did.) Manager still with ear bud in his ear, had no clue how to refund me the money. The owner on the phone had to walk him through. And 3 days later and still no money in my account. If i was that store owner, i would've given the cake for free. Not to mention i never even received an apology for all the chaos and trouble. So i will NEVER in my life go there and i will tell my experience to every single person i know. Thank god for Dairy queen. They made my daughter a beautiful cake last minute and even told me how sorry they were that i had that experience with cold stone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They made my birthday cake remix wrong (gave me just ice cream and jimmies) when I got to my car I noticed there was no brownies or fudge so I went back in to tell them... the girl was nice and said she could make me a new one.... I waited a good 15 mins then to be told that her boss said I would have to pay again... what kind of customer service is that?! You made the order wrong and then expected me to pay twice? So I wasted 30 mins of my life and walked out. The manager was whispering to the girl at the register the whole time I was waiting, instead of telling me beforehand and just expecting me to pay! scene opens on a cold stone creamery 945 pm... 15 minutes before closing 2 kids cleaning up and putting the toppings away as they figured the night was over. 4 ppl walked in - 2 (we) and 2 others. the kids' eyes lit up and the kind of went "wow" these two kids (boy and girl) could not have been nicer. made everyones ice cream with a smile. I know it sounds silly that two people did their jobs with smiles - but it felt good and they were deserving of a big tip i'd like to pretend i was never going to eat ice cream again but these two turned me toward the dark side - and id have to come back. but what they did was made me want to go back there based on their attitudes and behavior. wish i would've gotten their names. they deserve a raise or a bonus. totally recommended based on two nice people read more

The place is dirty. Around the holders to the cups, on the lids to the toppings, the tile on the floors are loose. I also saw flies in the room where the ice cream is stored. One of the employees was making fun of a person who was on the spectrum after they ordered. They are not careful about food allergies. They make everything on the stone even the "peanut free." don't blame anyone who says this place has bad service. The owners are Indians who don't know how to run a business to save their lives. They hired me and never gave me proper training. My first time serving ice cream was a Saturday night (busiest night) with no former training. Not only that but they asked me to make an ice cream cake, something I've never done before and was never trained to do then proceeded to yell at me for doing a poor job. They then fired me for not "learning in time" but yet they kept a girl who does drug deals in the back, their son who never does anything and then proceeded to hire someone who does drugs in the bathroom.
