This place is the cutest cafe ever!! Perfect for warm weather. We came here on a random Saturday and sat outside to enjoy our breakfast. Seating was pretty limited but worth the wait. The coffee and food was phenomenal. Definitely get the chicken and waffles read more

Such a cute and cozy spot! Came here for lunch and got the chicken Caesar wrap with crispy chicken and an ice cofffee. Both were delicious! Walking into Meadowlark is like walking back in time. A small cafe with pastries, sandwiches, coffee/tea, ice cream and also a small section of candies and gifts. The staff is so friendly and the vibe is perfect. My only complaint is the size - not much room inside for the crowd it is drawing and if you're wanting to eat in there is only a small bar and one table. There is plenty of outdoor seating now that the fall is here and the weather is beckoning for us to be outside. Check them out, I'm sure you will be back for more. No pictures this time around. When I say this place is slept on, I mean it is slept on. Love the atmosphere, full of little trinkets and charming decor, little things to buy like gum with famous paintings on it, little ducks, and so on. It's so cute! The service is always amazing, never ever had an issue. The prices aren't the best, but I will happily support their mission in supporting those transitioning into sobriety/from bad situations to a better life by offering them jobs and financial support. ....also helps that the food is absolutely amazing as well. I'm very into sweets, so most times I come it's to get a little treat. Their selection is great, portion sizes decent, and flavor spectacular. read more

We stopped at Meadowlark to pick up some cupcakes but when we arrived there was a long line to get inside. We figured if everyone was waiting it must be worth the wait. They did not have any cupcakes but we picked up 2 macarons (purple flower coffee toffee and cloud strawberry vanilla) and 2 iced coffees (Shamrock and Irish Potatoe). Everything was delicious. We will be back but we will go early before things sell out. They do have a small area inside to eat and an outside courtyard when the weather is nice. read more

Very limited indoor seating but there was a heated patio outside. Seems like a place to go on a nice day when the weather is warm, lots of places to sit outside when it's nice. Happened upon Meadowlark today while visiting my parents. Ordered the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit - quite large and very good, my wife ordered the tomato soup and salad and she enjoyed both, and my kids split the grilled cheese and a pastry (maybe a bear claw???). No complaints. It was freezing but the outdoor covered patio had heaters. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in Bucks County. read more

My family have been several times but I forgot to write a review. We ordered our breakfast and lunch food around 11:30. Anything with a side tater tot's is fine by me. I got breakfast tacos that had pickled onions, guacamole, eggs and some kick. My wife ordered an apricot croissant and hot honey chicken sandwich. Both amazing and full of flavor. We sat in the speak easy room upstairs and it had some fun decor and some board game options while you wait for your food. We loved it so much we got take out the following week. Fries and an Aussie burger, well worth the price tag. You pay for quality and Meadowlark knows what they have. We will continue to be loyal customers to revamped cafe with a great menu! I have passed this place so many times...took me quite sometime to realize it was actually a coffee shop. A cute one...and small or should I say "quaint?" Stopped in today for a hot latte. I did not know what to expect...to my surprise It was probably the best latte I have ever had. I chalk a lot of that up to it being exactly the right temperature...perfectly hot. So many times it is cold from the added froth. But not here...absoutely perfect. The Barista who made it was very nice. He was the only one making coffee while I was there so wondering if it could take long to order? The couple after me waited a teeny-tiny bit till mine was made. Glad I was ahead of them otherwise depending on their order...I may not have been able to wait. Looks like the kind of place where they appreciate and get to know their customers. This place has been on my radar since its opening but I am unfortunately only now getting around to checking it out. This cafe took over the old "king of tarts" bakery and whatever is in this location doesn't tend to fair well but it seems that meadowlark is doing a decent amount of business as there were several parties who had come in and out while I was waiting for my food. I have seen so many people post about this business so I believe that word of mouth is keeping them going strong with new patrons but also the fact it is a true cafe - hot food options, pastries, and drink. I did not try coffee - I know a sin. I have to check to see if they are still using Calm Waters Coffee from Bristol because if they are I won't be drinking the coffee as I do not like their coffee. Just a personal preference, nothing bad to say! Their pastries honestly looked so so good but unfortunately I will have to wait to try them. I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich trying to think of the most local place from my house where I could get a sandwich to go made with fresh ingredients and this was it! They offered a few hot options including breakfast sandwiches with your choice if meat which could be made on various bread options. I chose sourdough but I'd love to try a croissant as their chef specializes in French pastry. Each sandwich came with tator tots. There was a good amount of bacon and egg on my sandwich. A choice of cheese would be nice. And the bread was very fresh- nice and thick. I love that they serve food all day and have dinner options. My complaint for the area is that there are no cafes, coffee shops open late - however Meadowlark is. Tuesday through Saturday they are 7am to 8pm and Sunday 7am-3pm. Fair hours! I'll be back and I've got dibs on the chocolate almond croissant and sticky bun! Also worth mentioning they had 1-2 tables inside, counter seating and outside tables. They apparently also have a back patio. Very small inside but cozy! They were doing lots of takeout/ to-go business ! read more

We tried Meadowlark for the first time today, for breakfast. Food prices were reasonable and we ate in their courtyard. The iced lattes were great. Pastries looked amazing and we tried the cinnamon roll. We also ordered the stuffed French toast which was topped with a Maine blueberry sauce. This was incredibly delicious! However, the sausage gravy on the biscuits and gravy dish was unbearably salty and I couldn't eat it. The hot chocolate didn't have enough chocolate in it. We would come again! read more

It was just ok. Food was good, prices fair for what we got. Cute decor. There was one counter/table inside where we sat. Later we learned they have other seating space in back/upstairs/outside (?) but none of the employees mentioned it to us. We were going to take out but decided to sit at the counter when it became available. There was a cloth/covering on the counter that had hair and crumb remnants from other previous guests. Employees seemed like they were having a bad day. Head down...barely said hello...no one was very friendly, smiley, or super helpful with suggestions. Maybe they have regulars that they cater to more, but we weren't one of them. read more

O.M.G. I wish I knew of this place sooner! Wonderful fresh-baked goods. Like an oasis in this fairly dismal part of suburban Pennsylvania. Creative fare like cookies of mixed ingredients (coconut, butterscotch, chocolate chip [all in one cookie]), danish (berries and cheese), cupcakes (caramelized pear), and our favorite Kouign-amann. It's a tiny take-out place with fun little things to buy around the store (candles, candy) and it also has sandwiches and coffee (that I plan to try one of these days.) 4 stars because some of the bakery items weren't great (like the chocolate raspberry pie, eclair, chocolate croissant...) What a great cafe! This is not run-of-the-mill coffee or pastries. They make this "Kouign Amann" pastry which is essentially a caramelized croissant - simply put, it's out of this world. It's soft and flakey inside with a sweet crunchy exterior. I've never had anything like it. And then there's the coffee. I highly recommend the Mocha. It's made with Fruition chocolate and it is insanely addictive and GOOD! Fruition is a rich chocolate which is not sweet, but with all these chocolatey levels of flavor. The Mocha barely makes it home before I finish the cup. read more

Went here yesterday for the first time, Food was okay. Not outstanding, basically average. Place is tiny, but the staff is friendly and they have a hightop inside and small cafe tables outside. We ordered a smash burger, medium rare, What we got was a well done burger Ordered the fish tacos. They were okay, but we didn't expect them to be fish sticks in a flour tortilla wrap with cabbage slaw. There was no mention of this on the menu and we've never had fish tacos prepared this way before. We were a bit disappointed. Very average place. I heard it was a french bakery. It's really not. Average, sugary sweet treats, with croissants thrown in. "Crossroads" bakery in Doylestown blows them away! Writing my second review for this new place because I can't say enough good things about it!! Every time I come here the workers greet me with such warmth and kindness and make me feel very welcomed. Everything I've tried so far is absolutely delicious. I got some pastries last week and they didn't disappoint. Today I tried a slice of the cannoli cake and it was fenomenal.
