I understand that Mother's Day is extremely busy but as a long standing business I would have expected that this restaurant would understand that this type of serve is absolutely unacceptable. It would be better to be completely honest with us and tell us that they would not be able to take our reservation and their restaurant operates on a first come first served sort of system with a waiting list. None of this was communicated at all.

We toured the shopping center and checked out all the offerings before deciding on this restaurant. We started out in the food court. It had what I was looking for, but it was dirty inside and you needed a code to the bathroom. When we entered this restaurant we first looked at the menu. The prices were the same as the food court and it was sit down service and no code to the bathroom needed and best of all it looked really clean. We placed our order and it shortly came out. I ordered the vermicelli noodle with bbq pork. It did not come out as expected. I thought it would be a dish of vermicelli noodles with a salad like base, bbq pork on top and an egg roll on top. Instead it was deconstructed. It came with a platter of cold vermicelli noodles and a platter of greens. You eat it like a lettuce wrap. You pull out a leaf of lettuce and put the vermicelli noodles on it with bbq pork and add the other greens inside. It was good, but I wouldn't order it again due to I was looking for a bowl dish. My husband ordered noodle soup with beef stew. I liked his better than mine. The flavor was perfect, flavorful and not spicy. The stew was perfectly cooked, very tender. I highly recommend this place versus the food court. They have plenty of tables, good food, and service. Very clean and nice and clean bathroom and good vibe.

Particularly liked the beef sausage and congee. Plenty of food for $31 pp, very worth it. We dined late afternoon on a weekday so we were the only group. Service was fine, just kind of hard to get their attention.

7 course beef is a popular choice within the Vietnamese cuisine. This restaurant has been in Lyon Plaza for at least 25 years. I remember dining here for special occasions when I was a kid. Recently, we took my mom here for a belated birthday dinner. We ordered the 7 course beef for four people (you should order per person to ensure there's enough food for everyone). Simply put: it was nostalgic. Each course had its own unique flavors and twist that haven't changed too much in taste and presentation from what I remember as a kid. These guys do a good job in keeping the recipe and preparation style consistent over the years. It's spring roll style so you get the rice papers, the fresh vegetables, and the dipping sauces to wrap with each course of beef as it comes out. And yes, it's exactly as the name suggests -- its 7 different courses of beef that you get to roll up into your preferred make of a spring roll. I must've ate 15 spring rolls. Don't worry, they're small in size so it's easy to get carried away. Haha. Very addicting if you ask me. The best part is that you don't feel overly full or guilty after having dinner here because there is an abundance of fresh vegetables that is paired with every bite. Love this spot and will remain a forever fan. P.S. don't mind the service. It's not top notch but they mean well.

Came to the square to buy flowers and stopped by Anh Hong to eat some Vietnamese food. TBH, it wasn't the best Vietnamese food and it was Ok not excellent. Service was lackluster. Slow and inattentive. The two young waiters were friendly, but the older man/owner was not too nice, He didn't greet. Dishes didn't come at the same time. I felt like from stepping in 'til getting food, it's a waiting game to test my patience. Paying cash will save you a few dollars. Unclean environment. There were a few noticable food scraps and slimy stuff on the floor under our table that they didn't clean up. It bothered me. I think the food would taste better if they provide better service. Hubby got his food first but chose to wait for everyone else, got tired and hungry and didn't enjoy the experience.

Came here with a bunch of friends to eat the 7 beef course. Maybe I can't count but I only counted like 5 different types of beef that we were served. Most of the dishes they served were average tasting to me, some better than others such as the beef onion roll but even then didn't have enough flavor. The soup they serve is definitely the best part of the entire meal. It ended up being a little over $30/person from what I can remember. It was good to try, not sure if I would want to eat it again

Came by on a Friday afternoon around 5:45pm and there was a good amount of tables open. We ordered the 7 Beef Course Set for 3 people. It came with rice paper and 3 sets of vegetables. Overall, I thought the dishes were average. Most of the courses weren't amazing and some were actually overcooked and dry. I personally liked the fondue as it had a citrus taste. The restaraunt got pretty crowded as the evening continued. I personally wouldn't come back, but it was nice to try.

Absolutely delicious for a reasonable and affordable price. The ambiance is casual and they offer complementary vegetables with the dishes. Their unique 7-course beef menu is a must try! For a group of 2, the 5-course beef is recommended. Despite peak-hour crowds, the reasonable prices make it a top choice for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. 10/10 recommend!

Visit: 7/9/21 Came here for dinner with Trish! She mentioned this is her favorite restaurant ever, and that she typically comes here for a special occasion. Well, there was no special occasion - just time for some good food and company! We came around 5:30pm - no wait at all. You can technically use Yelp Reservations to make a reservation, but it doesn't seem necessary unless you have a larger party and avoid prime dinner time. Parking: plentiful! Ambiance: just a tad bit on the older side, but I think this is one of the original locations? If so, that makes sense. We of course came here with one thing in mind: the 7 course beef! Ovreall, all the meat dishes were yummy! It was a bit smaller in portion than I had expected, but at the end I was fairly full. The congee at the end was sooo yummy! I wish I had room for more. Service was fast too! And quite attentive. Thanks for showing me around, Trish!

This is more of a sports bar setting with TV's everywhere so you don't have to worry about judgmental staff or uptight players. Chances are everyone is too busy watching "the game" to notice your crappy swing. The sim, although tricky and hard to read if you've only played real courses, is accurate and offers a ton of feedback. Gameplay supports up to 4 players unless you set up the golf range setting, then it's basically open season. Only 2 bays available by reservation so plan accordingly. There are some loner clubs if you don't have your own otherwise bringing your set is recommended. We had a bunch of appetizers that were all excellent. We came on a slow night too so no issues with drinks/food orders but I can see that being an issue when it gets lively(then again what restaurant doesn't have this issue when busy?). To my understanding this place just went through a menu/renovation refresh so look to the newest pictures for the most up to date info.

We had two different servers come to our table who didn't seem to be communicating with each other. As a result, we never received an order of sliders, yet they still appeared on our bill. The bartender also struggled with very basic cocktails. A simple cosmopolitan and a lemon drop -- both extremely common drinks -- seemed to cause confusion, which was surprising. As for the food, it was nothing memorable. One friend ordered a smash burger that was so smashed it included the bun, which I've never seen before. The wings I ordered were small and underwhelming -- five wings for $15 felt overpriced and disappointing. Overall, I don't understand how this place has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp. I left pretty disappointed. The only thing that seems to keep people coming back is the scantily clad servers rather than the food or service.

Because the Thursday night special is popular, be prepared to wait for a bit. Just what I was in the mood for. The bartender greeted me quickly and brought me a G&T, which tasted great. It did take a while to get some food ordered. There were several items that looked great, but I was kind of feeling a burger and didn't want to pay $9.00 for a side of fries which the burger came with. I will say it's outrageous to charge that much for a side of fries. Even when costs are up. I ended up ordering their Rookies Housemade Burger w/o cheese and tomato. I guess I could have had cheese. Tomato doesn't belong in anything but salsa and ketchup. Honestly, the burger wasn't bad. However, I was disappointed with the soggy fries. I would be upset if I paid $9.00 for soggy fries. I did notice that more people were drinking beer here than ordering a cocktail or food. Overall, I wasn't super impressed, but I will try this place again. I'll likely order something else. Overall, the speed of the service was mixed, but my bartender was extremely friendly. I felt comfortable there. My burger was fairly good, but unfortunately the fries were soggy. There's no excuse for soggy fries. If you find yourself near the Rookies Sports Lodge, it's a comfortable environment, but don't expect the best food. Maybe just order a beer.
