Be careful, the woman in the front (tall), she is a dishonest person. This later afternoon, I bought 2 dozen of eggs. There was a woman (short) from the back kitchen came to talk to me and gave me 2 dozen but then the other women (taller, she often is in the front) put 2 different dozen eggs in the bag for me and said that "they are all the same'. It's very basic with some cilantro & a few slices of onions. Hardly can taste any toasted rice powder. The dipping sauce is also very bland in my opinion. I am so glad my friend introduced me to this place. It is now my go to spot for lau duoi bo and doi. It is always delicious and had never failed me. You need to order lau duoi bo kind of early in the day otherwise they will ran out. The doi here is by far my favorite ever! I hardly ever eat doi because of the intestiney taste but the way they made the doi doesn't has any of that intestiny taste at all. Love it!!! I think their doi is not on the menu but you can ask for it. I have also had their be thui and it has always been delicious too. This place is not for dinning in though. You just gotta order togo. I was told by my mother that they sell tiet canh here, so we came here because Binh Minh was closed at the time. Although she hasn't actually tried the food here herself, she heard it wasn't bad. So we figured since it was across the street from where we lived anyway, why not give it a shot? Tiet canh (duck blood): Consistency is a little thicker here compared to Binh Minh's, but it wasn't bad @ all. I even discovered that there were some chopped herbs that were gelatinized within the tiet canh itself, probably so it helps with the fishiness? They didnt give us a lot of veggies and herbs with our order like Binh Minh does. I say this cause they definitely skimped on the mint (which is a MUST have for me). Bo la lot was edible but there was nothing special about it. The only thing I could take away from it was the fact that they were kind of dry because the lady gave me an already made box that was sitting out along with other foods on display... I ordered three Bê Thui(smoke veal), and a Lu Dê(Goat in herb soup). When we go home and start eating the food, the Bê Thui were mostly vegie, and onion. It contained very little smoke veal.
