So happy to have come here. I needed a few accessories for Christmas present and I was pleasantly…read moresurprised to see everything I needed was 60% off. Huge savings for me. I needed wrapping paper. Which was buy 1 get 1 free. I needed these small twig wreaths which were $1.79 red and god berries picks were $1.99 with 60% off. Making them .80 cents. I saved so much money with their Black Friday sale, even though it was Saturday. Also, the greatest sale was buy 1 ribbon, get 3 free! Cha Ching! So grateful for these sales. I'm basically done my Christmas shopping. Now comes the fun part of wrapping and decorating the gifts.

Every aisle is filled with too much stuff you don't need but never the stuff you came to buy. Employees have to deal with all the customers who can't find that one thing they have to have but it's not in stock. This is my Michaels experience wherever I go. But I'm writing this review for one specific reason and that is the person in the framing department named Payton. He is an excellent example of customer service in action. This guy helps you figure out what you need, how to get it done, and where to get the supplies. Then when you come back because you can't remember something he said, he helps you again. Patient, knowledgeable, and professional. You couldn't hope for more!

This is really a cool placepeople will be very happy to see all the beautiful decorations in this…read moreplace. I was looking more for chandeliers and they gave me a book to view of all the furniture that they sell and what they can do to decorate your home. So far everything I've seen is just absolutely beautiful and the sales lady was very helpful but she was young and was trying to help me find a suitable piece of furniture that I was seeking. My style is a little bit different but yet they do have very nice things to show. Grant it I understand how sales people work but the fact is I was looking for more than just furniture I was looking for rugs and to redecorate my place. After looking , I finally found what I was seeking and decided that I will give them a call and give them plenty of time to arrange to see what I am needing on my property. They have all kinds of colors and beautiful styled clothing as well and boots it's either a hitter or miss either you find what you're looking for or you can't find what you're looking for. Either way this is a really neat eye Opener, because everything that they show you is really nice and beautiful. So I'll be returning and very grateful for the sales lady to actually show me a book that has everything in that I may need and want. Very easy parking usually not very busybut you can wander in and get to see all the beautiful things they have do take time to take a look at all the nice things.

I have followed Assemble Cocktail Workshop on Instagram and have always thought it looked super…read morefun, so when a friend wanted to do a private party for her birthday - it was a no brainer! We arrived a bit early and Lillian quickly whipped us up a welcome cocktail which she called "A Walk in the Garden". It was a prosecco based cocktail and absolutely delicious (and pretty). While we enjoyed this cocktail and looked around the shop... she prepared the workshop space for the lesson. The birthday girl had been given a list of cocktails in advance and was able to select the ones she wanted to learn how to make (she selected the Blackberry Smash & Bee's Knees). One thing I loved about this class is that Lillian gave options with each cocktail so that everyone would end up with a drink they loved. For example, if you don't like bourbon which is typically in a Bee's Knees... you could use gin instead! Then we had the options to make it spicy/sweet/herbal/ etc. By the end of the class... we all had different and personalized cocktails. In addition to the cocktails, Lillian prepared a large bowl of popcorn with specialty seasonings and showed us some of the fun tools that can be used for different prep methods. We also had downtime between making each drink to enjoy them and chat amongst ourselves. This class made for the perfect outing... we're already talking about doing another for the next girl's weekend. I cannot recommend this class enough and will absolutely be back!

What's not to love about making delicious and fun cocktails with friends?!…read more Lillian's cocktail workshops are a great interactive activity for anyone who is looking to up their cocktail game. I was doing a birthday weekend with friends in Boerne and came across Assemble Cocktail via Visit Boerne. I booked a private Tiki session for 7 of us and it was the perfect way to celebrate with friends. If there's only one or two of you, you can book an open session that's available. We made Mai Tais and Painkillers - both were delicious. Since I had a couple of folks who were preggo, I notified Lillian and she made sure to have two setups with zero-proof "spirits." Lillian was a great teacher and host. She has aprons and leis so the vibes were perfect. The location is a cute bungalow tucked behind another business on Main Street (kind of easy to miss if you're looking for it right on Main Street). The business started at the beginning of the year, so it's fairly new, but add it to your list of things to do if you're in the Boerne area!
