Since my baby was not able to walk - or even stand on her own, they met me at car with a stretcher and carried her as if they were carrying a human baby! Vinny has been brought in for issues all across the scale: a flea problem, ACL issues, anal gland problems, and regular vaccine schedules. Every time, the staff are all on the same page to try to get Vinny to his healthy state. The front desk staff always knock it out of the park-they answer phone calls very quickly, as well as emails. Attentive to emails and send info over to Vinny's home vet on the same day typically. Vet techs are so sweet! They always dote over Vinny and truly care about him. Vets are so thorough. They answer all of my questions (I usually have a lot..). I'm very glad we decided to give Winter Place a call back in fall 2021. They're great!

It's always scary to see a vet that you don't know. I'll be forever grateful we got an appointment for July 3 to see Dr Hudson. She is "the cat whisperer". Dr. Hudson immediately diagnosed my cat with the beginning of an infection at the tooth extraction area and prescribed medication as well as recommended a blood draw to run labs. She was extremely thorough in her diagnosis and handled my cat with care. Before we departed she reviewed all the prescriptions to help hesk my cat and the front desk also reviewed each dosage and protocol to answer any questions. Dr. Hudson phoned us on July 5 to see how my cat was feeling and also review the continued protocol to bring my cat back to health.

They fired the vet, but my cat paid the price in the end. Chris is the most uncaring individual and should not be trusted with any pets well-being. If you don't take your pet there for shots and everything else every year they make you pay the price too. It is my choice who I use for vaccines, not up to them to dictate who gives it or how often. I had proof that my cats had vaccines, but they still didn't believe me! Finally this past weekend, Chris told me I was now a new patient because I hadn't been there in a while. And they weren't accepting new patients. That is the last time my pets suffered the consequences of supporting this poorly managed facility.

very sterile and echoey when dogs lose their minds in the lobby, not great for cats…read more scheduled an in-person visit about a month before hand, the vet who does in-person visit wasn't in on they day of the appointment and they had to take my cat back personally. i wasnt allowed to ask the vet questions directly. they dont provide results on paper of heartworm or any other tests and looked at me as if it's not anything anyone has ever wanted records of. the man told me 'if you sign up on the website, they MIGHT be on there.' he didnt have an answer and just made it up because the results werent there either. they didnt even weigh my cat, couldnt estimate how old he was even though we asked. they all try to sell expensive wellness plans to everyone who comes in. all in all, dont expect good care from this group

The women at the front desk were wonderful--they kept us updated throughout the wait, which meant so much during such a stressful situation. Daisy is a very anxious dog, and the veterinary team went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. They even kept her in the back with them to help keep her calm while she waited, and knowing she wasn't sitting alone gave us so much peace of mind. The veterinarian who treated Daisy was fantastic. She took the time to clearly explain the procedure, walked us through what to expect during recovery, and made sure we knew exactly what to watch for once we got home.
