Krista says the trims in my package expire after 6 months so the 4 i have in my balance are no good. Money is money and if you buy a ticket, you can redeem it regardless. She hands out this BS that the packages are like a gift card, not a pre-purchase as it's states in her terms of service. Nowhere are her Terms of service available to read. Out of sight, out of mind, like they don't exist. Then says her lawyers have told her what's she's doing is legit. i can't even find her business registration on line. It's all a ruse! DO NOT USE this woman as she practices terrible business ethics!

This is a long overdue review for K D Nail Trims. Krista did our dog's nails for years. Not once…read moredid we ever receive any paperwork or sign anything. She says our trims expired in 6 months which is absolute hogwash. We would have never have bought a package had we known they expired in 6 months. Our dogs simply have never needed to get their nails cut so often. We had 4 nail trims left onOur package and she would not let us use them. Also she responded addressing me on a review my husband left not me. I would like to add 1/2 the time we would have to leave multiple messages until we got a reply. She could never fit our dog in because she was sick or many other excuses. When she would not honor the remaining nail trims she offered a new package at a "discounted price" which was actually the same price every one else got. I would suggest that people not pay ahead for her services as she is both unreliable and she won't return messages. She also lied quite a few times which we were able to prove by glancing g at her Facebook. I feel like we simply got ripped off by someone who conducted their business very poorly. I would like to add good luck if she ever shows up on time. She was often late or wouldn't show up at all and it was always my fault. This happened multiple times and we never knew if she would be here or not. She would rush in and rush out, not very personable with humans or animals, always in a rush

They are careful about adopting the dogs out but they get a lot of repeat and multiple boxer adopters for a reason. These dogs do not get returned because it wasn't a great fit. And they get the dogs turned around and into loving homes remarkably quickly. They take the dogs out of their kennels for of the day into play yards, on walks or outings, put them all thru obedience training, and continue the support for adopters once the dog has been adopted. They have a great group of volunteers as well. They will be honest about the needs of the dog, and if the one you got excited about looking on their website isn't a great fit, they will introduce you to dogs that might be, often leading to a great result for everyone. Please take some of the negative reviews from years ago with a grain of salt. Those people are no longer running the rescue and the ones who have been for last 3 years are a joy to work with. (PS - I fostered a hospice boxer/pittie for them and their support was fantastic the entire time I had her).

The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .
