The pest worker shot poisons through open windows into my kid's bedroom, and left dead bodies of wasps on the window sill. No prior notice or knocking on the door before the pest worker shot poisons into my kid's bedroom. I have requested the company to clean up the window sill and my kid's bedroom. Rick Duffy - COO of Animal Pest Management came over and refused to clean up my kid's bedroom. Window sill was cleaned a week later after repeated requests. Animal Pest Management obtains business through HOA board. That explains the company's arrogance in dealing with customers. Hired by our HOA to fumigate 400 + units, 30+ buildings. All coordinated in Phases.... Phases 1 & 2 were delayed 6 weeks. Two days before fume tents went up After we were all packed up, found out that APMS FORGOT to secure the GAS SHUT OFF. Ya've got One Job and you messed miserly!!!! 120 families completely discombobulated for 6 weeks. Our HOA assisted in the misery by NOT giving a 15 day notice to reschedule but a 30 day... These guys are awesome! Rick, Gary, Jose, and Chris (Davis) went out of their way to answer questions and respond to our call for help immediately. Outstanding customer service and honesty. We spotted termite droppings and had heard so many horror stories that we panicked and instantly started calling different companies for inspections and help. Since we were expecting the worst, we were not surprised when the first two companies that came out said we would need to tent and fumigate. We wanted to get 3 bids to compare prices, services, and warranty so our 3rd call was to Animal Pest Management (AMP). We are so glad we did!! AMP came out the same week we called. They inspected under the house, inside the house, all around the exterior and roof. We were amazed when they assured us that tenting would NOT be necessary! They instead treated the active area they found while they were here! Done! So, they responded right away and only sold us what we actually needed. We definitely wish we had called them first. And talk about customer service.... As Jose prepared to crawl under the house for the inspection, he pointed out an AC duct that was laying disconnected. After completing the inspection, he took duct tape we had and went back under the house to attach the AC. Obviously this was extra time and effort on his part that had nothing to do with the inspection. That's just great service! read more

I called them for a gopher that we could not get rid of. They came within a week of the call (a little busy) but the one treatment killed the gopher in the backyard within 24-48 hrs. No new gophers or holes since. Very good value for the price. read more

Used this company through my association for a rat problem. Whereas it wasn't hard to get an appt. time, three times my guy was a no show and once they had a whole different appt. time and showed up when I wasn't home. They caught maybe three rats and I don't seem to have any more creepy crawlies in my attic. On the last day of "no show" I didn't bother to call them and they never followed up with me. That being said, the techs were really nice. Not sure if I would have used them if it were up to me because I don't have time to wait around for someone who isn't going to show up. read more

We had a bee problem and since this company had a monthly service agreement for our home since 2016 called them. We were told $150. Technician came twice and could not resolve the problem as never could quite get a good seal around the area with his suit on. I realized at dusk the bees went away so I went up there and got the area sealed 100%. The charge to our credit card was $250. When I called they told me $150 for single story and $250 for 2 story. No one ever mentioned the 2 story amount and since they have been servicing for 3 years clearly knew it was a 2 story. I called and was told someone would get back with me. Went with this company on advice of a knowledgeable friend. They tented our very termite-ridden big house and garage. They ripped out all the damaged wood, primed, sealed and painted the repaired areas. The guys were professional and friendly, the boss Rick Duffy is an absolute gentleman, what we call 'good people' and he knows his business and his workers are happy so they did a great job, timely and reliably. APM was recommended to me by another pest control company after inspecting and telling me I had a raccoon and babies in my attic. I set up an appointment with APM and a technician came out and inspected the entry points under the roof line, and recommended a trapping program for 5 days for a fixed cost of $400. He set three traps on May 17, on the ground near where the raccoons were climbing to the roof; and bated, set and checked the traps for 5 work days, until May 24, netting one raccoon that he removed (which may or may not have been in my attic). To that point that was fine, that was the deal. When the tech picked up the cages, I told him I heard sounds in the wall over my front door and a nail holding a small ornament over the door was being pushed out, and he observed this. He said he would talk with his boss and come up with something to get them out. The tech came back a couple of days later (May 26?) with an irritant spray and sprayed through a tube in the nail hole, no charge. He suggested that this should make the mama raccoon mover the babies out and probably leave the attic. There was no followup call, inspection or recommendation for any further action. Within a couple of days it became apparent that the raccoons had moved further into the attic. I called APM tech (June 1) and to let him know the problem was not solved, he was going to get back to me. Never got a call. I called the APM office (June 6) and told the receptionist someone is supposed to get back to me on the next step in solving this problem, and she said someone would get back to me today, but no one did. I called the APM office one final time (June 9) and told the receptionist I would like to know if APM is going to respond and if they can solve this problem or not. No one responded, so I have had to find a company that can evict and cleanup the attic, probably a situation that is worse now for the loss of a couple of weeks spinning my wheels. If APM could not provide the necessary services to followup and solve the problem they should have been up front and clear about this and just said "all we know how to do is set traps". The lack of communication is the worst form of disservice. The people at APM seem to be nice people, but if you have raccoons in your attic you need a company that can do more than set traps, and can take the actions necessary to solve the problem, like evicting them and followup with cleanup operations or repairs if necessary. I would never use APM again. read more
