I would highly recommend rodent control. From the start having the initial conversation with Julia was amazing keeping me at ease while we have rats in our attic. Today their technician Michael showed up and really took his time to assess my entire home from outside to inside about an hour, whereas other companies like rodent stop only spent 10min outside and giving a quote of $5k and rushing to get out. I highly recommend Rodent Proof with Michael and Julia. From start to finish, they were thorough, honest, and incredibly helpful. Julia answered the phone right away to explain the process and helped us schedule an inspection without any pressure. Michael arrived on time and immediately got to work inspecting every part of our home. He found multiple rodent entry points, including alcoves leading into the attic, gaps near the roofline, holes near the chimney, entries by the condenser, and openings around the exterior where birds could nest then cleared out the bird mites. He sealed every single one of those areas with professional grade materials to prevent rats returning. He also took care of bird nesting areas where leaves and debris were collecting, which was creating a mess around our property. In the past, we used a large corporate pest control company, but they were never able to get our rat problem under control. Michael came out and rodent proofed our house in mid October. Two months later we still had rats. Michael was out bi weekly checking traps through the first part of December. Then we haven't seen him since. We called and left a message, nothing. He was also supposed to do our monthly pest control service, we had a spider problem. That stopped too. We paid $1689.00 for the proofing of our house. I work from home, so I am here 24/7. I am easy to find, just show up. I ended up catching the rats, getting in the attic, etc...It's honestly disheartening to me that I read all these great reviews, the same one's we believed, but didn't get that service. We had an attic rat problem and called Rodent Proof for an estimate after another company gave us a high quote and a complicated work plan to replace the whole attic insulation. After inspection, Michael told us we didn't need replacement of attic insulation since the insolation was in good condition and our rat problem was a mild case. He gave us a work plan that made a lot more sense than the first company and for a lot less. We were impressed with his knowledge and honesty. We chose Rodent Proof on the spot. After that it was all smooth sailing. Manny did all the work for us. He patched up the holes first, and then came back to check the traps weekly for a couple of weeks, and finally today, he vacuumed the attic and sanitized it.
