I told Andrea about the wait time for our approval - she got our information and called our insurance and got approval in less than two hours! I'm so grateful for this since my husband has been limping around and in pain for days. I feel that although the doctor's office said our insurance was "pending" and they can take up to 7 business days to approve, I don't think the called it in at all since Andrea got in done in two hours. Husband was in and out in an hour and he's giving the place a thumbs up too.

Prenuvo sat on results for 2 weeks before they released them to me and the person telling my results was not competent. This 2nd Prenuvo I did the executive. I got my MRI results back in 5 days. Prenuvo scheduled my consultation for 2 months out. A week before my consultation, Prenuvo sent me an email and canceled for no reason. I called and stated my labs, brain scan, and body composition was not released to me. I had labs that needed urgent following up just sitting there. Very frustrating. What's the point of doing all this if they are just sitting on the results. You have to be very proactive and follow up.

I had a very frustrating experience with BodySpec and would not recommend them if you care about…read moreaccuracy and consistency in your body composition data. My report initially contained a confirmed processing error. After I pointed it out, they "reanalyzed" the same scan and uploaded corrected results -- but the numbers for the exact same scan date (October 26, 2025) are different between the old and new reports. This includes different body fat percentages and lean mass values for the same scan, which should never happen. Despite this, they insist the updated results are "accurate" and refused to offer a complimentary rescan. What's more frustrating is that when I asked for clear validation (what exactly went wrong, what changed, and why the two reports still show different data), they avoided directly answering the most important question: why the same scan still produces conflicting results across reports. That lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a company cannot guarantee consistent results from the same scan, then the reliability of their entire service is questionable. I rely on these scans to track real progress, and this experience has completely undermined my confidence in their data. Reply to BodySpec: Once again, I want to re-emphasize that you've changed the results for the same scan THREE times!! Imagine if I had trusted your data from the beginning and never contacted your team to look into it -- I would have been relying on the wrong data. What's the point of doing the scan if the data is incorrect? All I'm asking is for you to compensate for YOUR MISTAKE by allowing me to have a complimentary rescan, and I'll let this go. But your customer service has dodged my question and is essentially saying "trust me on the data." How can I trust it after my data has changed THREE TIMES?

This was my first time doing a body spec scan and I didn't really know what to expect. I have been…read moreworking out pretty regularly with Orangetheory fitness, where they will sometimes perform an InBody scan to measure your body fat and muscle and weight and progress in improving these as your workout regularly. But even OTF is upfront about the fact that the DexaScan is the most accurate measurement tool. So I wanted to sign up for a DexaScan to get a baseline measurement of my physical state. They have many different packages, but I just went with the 2 scans per quarter (3 months) for $79.95, which comes out to about $40/scan and seems reasonable. Signup is easy, all done online via their website. You choose a date and ~15 minute window and just show up a few minutes early. The parking is easy, with plenty of spots in the lot behind the building. There are two semi-walled off "rooms" where the machines are located, one in each. It's basically a giant table and an x-ray machine. You lay on it for about 8 minutes and it's done. The guy who did my scan, Juan, made sure to wipe down and disinfect the surfaces before it was my turn. And my results were emailed to me within 10 minutes of completing the scan. All results are saved in your online BodySpec profile. I'll be back in a few months time to see if I've improved!

Easy dropoff access for those with mobility issues. Lovely neighborhood pocket park right around the corner should you need a place to just breathe. Variety of restaurants and cafes on the next block north if you need a bite to eat. Waiting room is smallish and has a tv running nonstop in one corner. There is also a charging station for phones and tablets.

This was not mentioned on their website anywhere for this location. I asked the front desk if other sites have X-rays today and she mentioned San Mateo "but only until like 12:30 PM or so because the tech goes around" What is the point of advertising that you can walk in anytime for X-rays when in fact the availability could be quite limited / unavailable and you wouldn't really know until you get there? Their website has an "X-ray queue" and right now it says 1 waiting for this location but they're certainly not waiting for an X-ray today since they're supposedly closed for X-rays today. What is happening! I'll try again and will try to report back on the actual experience but beware don't come to this clinic on Wednesdays for a walk in X-ray since it'll be a waste of time. UPDATE: I tried calling this clinic to double check they were open and were doing X-rays but it seemed hard to get a hold of the front desk staff. It seemed like I was being sent to a call center "next available agent" which is not super helpful, so I hung up and decided to just drive back again the next day. I was able to come back the next day and the process was generally smooth. They took my insurance and I only had to pay a $10 fee (hopefully no giant surprise bill later). The actual X-rays only took like 5 minutes not even and the tech was very courteous. Overall I would say a few improvements could be made: 1) the website needs to be updated to say don't come here on Wednesdays for X-rays because the tech is not here 2) the site should indicate any other limited availability (e.g. are X-rays actually available all day?) 3) make it easier to actually reach the front desk via phone for basic questions. 4) I think 1 text / reminder call is probably sufficient. Avoid this location…read more The problem is not just the wait time. The problem is the overall attitude toward patients and a complete lack of respect for their time. My son and I waited for approximately an hour, only to be denied service at 11:20 a.m. despite the posted hours indicating that the location is open until 11:30 a.m. If patient service actually ends earlier, the hours should reflect that. Closing procedures, packaging specimens, and paperwork are not the same thing as being open to patients. The current hours are misleading. What was most disappointing was the indifference. The staff could clearly see us sitting there the entire time. They have access to the registration system and know how many patients are waiting. If there was no intention of accepting additional walk-ins, we should have been told much earlier instead of being left waiting for an hour only to be turned away at the last minute. The phlebotomist, Serenity, saw us throughout the wait and could have simply informed us that we would not be seen. Instead, that information was withheld until the very end. When I pointed out that we were still within the posted business hours, service was still denied. Quest Diagnostics should either honor the walk-in option advertised for this location or remove it entirely. More importantly, staff should communicate honestly with patients and respect their time. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to anyone.
