Authentic Homemade Mexican Food happens here. This is one of the best places to eat authentic Mexican food in Greenville. Don't question whether you should try this establishment out..just come. Fridays they have the Birria Tacos and that's a bucket list item. You order everything from the counter, they give you a buzzer, you find a table while waiting for the buzzer to go off, then you enjoy this wonderful food. Everything that I've had here is great! I'll be coming here to try everything & anything that Anita's has to offer. Till next time...

4 Different Tacos in this pic all were excellent.

A FLY flew out of our togo box with tacos in it. lost appetite but THE NACHOS! always get this & the same day we have a fly, there's no chips in this. the ~5 chips we did find, were soggy. honestly lost our appetite & i've been coming here for years. they won't even answer our calls i HOPE we get a refund back.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Would get 5 stars if seating in the restaurant was better.

It was alright, nothing great about it. Red sauce was hot! Had to get six tacos because they were so small.

I love their food. Had a bit of everything here from their tacos, specials, enchiladas, fajitas,…read moreand more and I'm never disappointed. This is authentic Mexican food. Spanish is spoken here and when I walk out I know a little bit more Spanish than I did coming in. The servers are super friendly and love their decor inside. Menus are under the glass which is on the table so it's easy to order. Their beans are the best in town hands down and yes that rhymes. You will see me here a lot and until next time.....

On Fridays, we eat tacos…read more Somewhere during the pandemic, my friend group decided we wanted to try birria tacos. We'd heard that there was one place in town where we could get them, which came highly recommended by a friend who'd been here. The caveat was that the birria tacos are only served on Fridays. So we planned to do birria tacos on Friday. We came here and got 4 orders of birria tacos. I added an agua de Jamaica to my order. While we waited, I perused the adjacent grocery store and purchased some Mexican Coca-Colas, conchas, and a box of mango Pulparindo. Soon enough, our order was ready. We took our goodies back to my place, turned on a good movie, and partook in our feast. These tacos are full of flavor. The meat is tender, and the cheese was perfectly melted inside the consome-soaked tortillas. The meal is served with pickled onion and habanero pepper, fresh cilantro and onions, limes, and a house-made hot sauce. Of course, in true birria fashion, there is a cup of hot consome in which to dunk the tacos. The freshness of the condiments perfectly compliments the fatty richness of the tacos. Jamaica is my favorite agua fresca and always reminds me of my favorite Caribbean drink, Sorrel, as they are both made from the hibiscus flower. Though Mexican Agua de Jamaica has a different flavor profile than Sorrel, it always fills me with a sense of comfort and nostalgia. Their Jamaica is delicious and comes in a huge cup, so you always get enough. Since this first visit, we've made taco Fridays a tradition. I always order the birria tacos and agua de Jamaica. I've also tried lots of their other tacos (asada, chicharron, pastor, lengua, etc.) as an add-on to my birria order, but the birria outshines them all. These tacos are absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend adding them to your Friday takeout tradition. Be sure to peruse the pastry case for a fresh dessert to finish your meal and pick up some other treats along the way.
