The first time I had a facial here it was excellent. The technician did not speak English but that didn't stop her from doing a great job. I purchased another Groupon for my bestie and we went together. The owner, Anna was the only person there to serve us. What made her think that giving two facials at the same time was a good idea? Maybe because we are two black women, I don't know but I doubt she would have made anyone else wait in a cold room while she did one step on one client and then finally service the other client. One esthetician serving two people at the same time is ridiculous!. Maybe she made extra money that day but she lost two clients who wanted to be regular clients. I will never go back here again. I found Anna after moving to Cleveland and not being able to make it back home regularly for a facial. She was easy to reach and I made an appointment. She recommended I do the oxygen facial plus an eye treatment. It was a great facial and my skin felt smooth and the days after my skin was healthy. I don't think the facial was as good as the place I normally go to in Buffalo but it would be the second best facial I've ever had, and that is saying a lot considering the amount of facials I've had at various places. Another service I've tried here is the Brazilian wax. I normally get sugared and the only other wax I've used in that area was a hard wax at EWC but I thought I'd give the wax + strips a try. Anna was efficient and super quick, I mean from start to finish it took 10 minutes... how crazy is that? A great wax, I would come back here for the wax and suggest that you try it out too. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Called to confirm before purchasing a Groupon. Arrived 5 minutes early, rang the bell and had to wait outside 15 minutes before anyone answered the door. The owner refused to honor the Groupon and wanted me to pay full price for the service. I tried pleading with her but she ignored me (by checking her voicemails) Terrible customer service, RUDE, disrespectful and unprofessional!! Anna's was a really cool find in Asia town. After getting a big bowl of pho (from Superior Pho), you can stop in and get a facial in the same again plaza. (Which is exactly what I did.) I walked in on a Saturday at 3:15 in the afternoon. They had an opening and told me they could give me a facial. Cool! I got the French hydrating facial with an eye treatment, a 90 minute massage that cost around $130. While the facial was AMAZING, I was a little taken aback by the amount of notice in the building. As I mentioned, the spa is next to a restaurant, and I could hear one of the chefs YELLING at someone for a good five minutes. Also, Anna was constantly stepping out during my facial to meet customers at the front of the store... Not the greatest set up. Finally, the back room is a shared space. That means that there's someone else getting a facial right next to you. Hence, if privacy is your thing, this place might not be the best place for you. Again- let me reiterate that the facial itself was fantastic. I will probably go back. My skin felt fresh and healthy... I hope the results last! read more

I must admit- I was pretty impressed with Anna's. I was getting tired and poorer by spending so much money on acne facials on the east and west side. I had always heard about Anna's and how they use shisheido products-which, by the way, is great for Asian skin- so I stopped by for my acne facial. For all of you who get acne facials, you know how it hurts and how it stings-at Anna's I got a quick and very good acne facial! Sure, it's not a place where you have heated beds and waterfalls, but it's good- you lay on a comfortable bed, and you get a great facial- for only a fraction of the price too than other places. The facial itself was good tho-sure it hurt a little, but it was fast and efficient, with great shisheido products. I also got my eyebrows waxed- she did a great job! I was overly impressed with Anna's and will be back- to get my fill of shisheido products as well as good and cost efficient facials! read more

I bought a coupon on Groupon for waxing and went over there for the appointment. She was friendly and very casual person. She did the waxing well without much pain, however i took a star out for professionalism. She was a bit more on the casual end. She did the waxing in the back room and did not leave the room when i was leaving. I did not mind it so much as i was just throwing my clothes back on, however it was a bit unprofessional. For the price and friendliness, she definitely gets high points. The atmosphere is fine once inside the back of the store but the front layout is not so appealing. But for the price, i can look past that. I will probably come back. read more

Anna's Beauty Center is located in a warehouse-strip mall area in AsiaTown. If you're not familiar with AsiaTown, the area will take some time to get used to. It's not really super glam, but I really like the service that Anna's Beauty Center provides. I found out about this place through Rachael N, and I am going to be a regular here. Apparently she works wonders with skin (esp Asian skin) and she uses Shiseido products both for facials and for sale. She made me feel pretty comfortable, yet she was very honest at the same time. I really like when people make suggestions that are honest, and she will do that for you. I came for an hour long facial which was terrific and cheaper than any other salon/spa. I also had my eyebrows done as well. She offers quite a few different facial services, so be sure to check her offerings. read more

I hired the owner to do hair and makeup for my wedding. Not only was it unbelievable that bridal hair and makeup took 4 hours, the makeup turned out so clumpy on the skin that I had to redo it myself. Many people were witness to this. Thankfully, I have a lot of makeup experience from dance performances that I was able to redo it in a timely manner. Not only did she not take any responsibility for her action, her attitude was extremely rude. She was rude to my guests who were pointing out earlier on that the makeup doesn't look right (aka the clumping on the skin). She blamed my skin for the failure of the makeup application. Yes it is possible that some people's skin do not gel with certain produce but I am not allergic to anything and I've been dancing since I was 6, I've used all sorts of products and had all sorts of products used on me. I've had professional makeup done many times in my life too for dance and for photo shoots in China. None of the products turned out clumpy on my skin. As a professional if you see you should realize it right away and make corrections, not after 5 hours of getting ready. She was also extremely unprofessional passing out business cards at my wedding reception as if it were a marketing event. Lastly, in my decision to hire her, she agreed to help the groom with makeup and help the brides with some simple braids and change my hairstyle and do makeup touchups. None of these were performed. I purchased a groupon for a Brazilian wax and when I went to the place the owner redeemed my groupon with out giving me my service done. When I got there and mentioned to the owner I had a groupon she was not Happy I got a special deal and tried to upcharge me all these extra fees that was not mentioned in the fine print and she made me feel very uncomfortable and she was very blunt with pointing out all your flaws. She told me I needed a facial and my skin was terrible. so When I tried to leave she Locked the doors on me and said I had to pay a fee to cancel so when I gave her my card she kept saying it was invalid but it's not it was the one I have on file on groupon and it works fine so she unlock the doors finally and let me leave when I told her I was going to go to the atm to get cash and I never went back. I felt very uncomfortable and I felt she was holding me hostage at first and moral of the story she redeemed my Groupon when I didn't even get serviced. So here is DEFINITELY a little gem of Cleveland. When it comes to day spas... I have tried a butt load! Usually I go for waxing and facials. Well today I just had one of the best dang facials I have EVER had. This lady is located in the complex with Superior Pho. At first glance, it looks like small shop selling Shisheido products. But it happens that she has a huge amount of services that she provide in a small room in the back of the store. As far as I know, she is the only one but this lady knows how to provide great service and at a price that cant be beat. She even uses Shishiedo products to do it!! Really enjoyed my facial at Anna's. Her prices are fair and she made me feel comfortable. I was tired after work and Anna allowed me to relax while she did the facial. My face was a bit red the rest of the evening but it was gone by next morning. My face is a lot softer and there's less acne.
