Not only did I provide photos, but I also explained how I did not like a lot of makeup, wanted to stand out, but only wanted a little more than a natural look. I did not like how my makeup turned out. Not only was the eye makeup a bit too much, she did not cover my whole face with coverup (I even brought my own because it matched my skin tone, but they refused to use it) and she glued lashes that looked and felt like hairbrush bristles. Never used lashes a day in my life and to have that be my first experience was terrible. I voiced my feelings but did not have the time to start over. Next, was the hair. Provided multiple pictures of different angles. Did not come out like any of the pictures I showed. On top of that, she asked to cut a piece of my hair because she felt it was too long. I said NO loud and clear but she cut it anyway and said it wasn't a big deal. I was furious!!! She knew I was not happy. They all did. It was no secret and I did not keep it a secret. She even left before I got up from the seat. I will not be going back. Paid lots of money for service I did not like. I'm always worried that they won't be able to do my fades correctly (salons tend to not know how to use clippers, barbers tend to make me masculine.) but Jason took the time to listen to me and asked me what type of fade and how I wanted the blending. He did a good job. The washing station is at the back of the salon and the shampoo was was good. Soft gentle head massage as she washed and it was pleasing. I didn't get her name but I will ask next time. My only complaint of this whole experience was the smell of the towels they used to wrap my hair in after washing... they smelled like mildew like they weren't properly dried after washing. It will take at least 2 months for my hair to grow out so that it can be salvaged. Apparently she is the owners sister? I don't care who she is, she must be stopped immediately. She is dangerous.
