    Thai Penang Omelette

Possibly my 10th time here listen I really love this place. I took my bestfriend here for her bday brunch and everything was absolutely perfect. We got Thai tapas ( shrimp cake & spring rolls), the chicken & waffles and the drunken pasta. Everything was so delicious. I am so happy this place is here and I love to see that it is always busy! Such a great sign. They also upgraded the place! The interior design is phenomenal. I love seeing this place constantly build itself up.

Anna's has quickly become my new neighborhood gem! I stopped by for Sunday brunch today, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Parking was easy, and I was greeted by the sweetest hostess the moment I walked in. The menu had so many delicious options that it was hard to decide what to order. We ended up ordering the Pasta Carbonara and the Mushroom Truffle Omelette. The omelette was served with crispy breakfast potatoes, toast, and a small side salad, making it the perfect brunch plate. The Pasta Carbonara was incredibly creamy, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully prepared. They also have a great selection of specialty drinks. While they don't serve alcohol, the food was so good that I honestly didn't miss it. I'm so happy to have found this place so close to home, and I can't wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu!

Having heard good things about Anna's Café, I told my friend we had to go for lunch one Saturday. Today was the day. We were greeted warmly by a gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was charming and noticed the gift in my hand when I arrived, noting that it was my friend's birthday. We were seated promptly. Our waitress, Lauren, was attentive and very nice. (Actually, everyone who came by our table was friendly and smiling.) We each had a small salad, which was very tasty and had what seemed to be a very light peanut dressing. As neither of us likes breakfast much, we shared the Classic Thai Spring Rolls and Anna's Shrimp Cake - both were delicious. The spring rolls were crispy without being great and loaded with yum! The shrimp cakes each contained a very large shrimp and were better than we imagined. Everything was beautifully plated. After we ate, the owner came by with a slice of cheesecake topped with blueberries and a candle, and sang happy birthday to my friend. It was a thoughtful gesture and just cemented our impression that this place definitely has good vibes. So, go to Anna's! You won't just be supporting a local business, but some very special people!

Great place that just opened for breakfast & brunch. Made a reservation and was able to get seated right away! - drinks: Royal Thai tea with the cutest iced teddy bear 4/5, toffee banoffe - this taste just like a banana laffy taffy, it's not coffee btw so read the details lol we made the mistake thinking it was coffee haha.. - brunch & beyond specials - smoked salmon truffle fettuccine 10/10! They do not skimp out on the smoked salmon or the truffle, perfect balance with the cream and the smoked salmon, and guess the price? $25!!! You can't beat the price just anywhere. It's so hard to find something that has the perfect balance but this was it for me! - New York steak and eggs 3/5, asked for medium rare but got medium but that's okay, they packed it with a lot of fruits and veggies on the plate. This was $23. - smoked salmon avocado toast 4/5. It's a great portion, but there was a bit going on. - place is beautiful, staff is so friendly, plenty of parking spots. Place gives me a homey comforting vibe. I am interested to try their other coffee & matcha options as well as their breakfast options. A great recommendation would be to have a QR code on each of the tables to just pay & go because we had to wait for our check for awhile.

Thai and American fusions for breakfast and lunch. Great new cafe in Plantation. Adorable decor and wonderful service. Located in the plaza near Publix. Very interesting menu and we enjoyed it all. Tasty and beautiful presentation. Large portion The manager was very friendly and explained the origin and history of the place. Worth trying and we will return.

My friend has been raving about this place for months, since they opened and devised to take me for my birthday. We could not decide on just one thing so we ordered a variety of items. The waitress helped us select the best items and they were a hit! This is a good place to revisit for a casual meet-up with friends and try all the items. I can't wait to come back and try the various delicious menu items.

Brand new Italian - Thai fusion café in the Veranda Shoppes. The front patio definitely had a female's touch with an eye for detail. Elegant patio tables with shaded red canvas umbrellas creating an inviting space. Upon entry the black and white mosaic tile flooring caused a brief senory overload but quickly subsided with the large red brick coffee bar in the distance proudly displaying the Anna's name in LED white lighting against white wood. The hanging crystal wine glasses exhibited a strong Italian decor. The dining room was very spacious for a café with a sea of tables covered in white tablecloths and crystal glasses. There was a charming seating area with a red sofa and two red love seats next to the oversized newspaper article on the wall explaining the origins of Anna's Café surrounded by a collage of past customers. Not too sure where the Thai Fusion theme fits in - hmmm. Took a seat at the coffee bar and met with a few of the chatty baristas. The music was playing 1980's remakes of classic bands and loved it. Ordered an Italian Victoria Originale espresso classically presented in a small porcelain cup straddling a saucer with a stainless steel mixing spoon. The coffee had a smooth bold taste, welcoming scent and offered a quick jolt at a reasonable $3.00 price point. The kitchen was pushing out an array of eats that smelled spectacular. The gender assigned bathroom continued the elegant flow. Spotless with the mosaic flooring and red & white walls with floating wooden shelves full of green floral arrangements. The urinal was out of service. Great experience and this may be the new location for my Coffee Club.

We celebrated my birthday brunch at Anna's Cafe in Plantation, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone in our group loved their food, and the service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. I ordered the mushroom truffle omelette with mixed greens, sourdough toast, and an iced matcha latte. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The food came out with perfect timing, and the portions were generous. If you're looking for a great spot for brunch with delicious food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend Anna's Cafe. We'll definitely be back!

The breakfast here was delicious, I can't wait to go back for more. The service was quick and we were provided witg some great recommendations. Not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful as well, along with the beautiful interior. I wanted everything on the menu but was in the mood for French toast. It was delicious, but I definitely need to try one of their more unique dishes next time. My husband loved his thai basil chicken omelette. And my little guy loved his cartoon character breakfast. The matcha was what came highly recommended and the quality of it was much better than others. We can't wait to get back to try other things, the whole menu sounds fabulous.

FABULOUSLY FANTASTIC! WOW my friends and I (6) LOVED this place! The decor is beautiful! I met the manager, Charlie, who greeted me as if I was a long time friend. I was truly delighted by such a warm welcome! The food was DELICIOUS! I ordered steak and rice entree my friends got various salmon entrees. Everything was AWESOME. Try the Lychee Blossom drink!!! Our server, Cassie, was very nice and pleasant. Cassie and Joshua were both very friendly and down to earth! Which is a plus at any establishment!! We will definitely dine here again!

I have been wanting to try this place since it's close to home. I was expecting an ordinary diner.....but there is nothing ordinary about Anna's Cafe! First of all; it's super cute and full of charm! There are white tablecloths, red velvet chairs, and cute decor all around. The menu has the usual American breakfast and brunch options; but with a Thai influence. (The original restaurant was in Thailand.) We had the most fabulous server, Lauren, and she helped us decide what to order. My mom had the Strawberry-Basil Spritz mocktail first. She said it was delicious! I ordered the Secret Garden Omelette. It was only $16, and full of peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach and cheese. ( I had the avocado put on the side.). It was really yummy and came with toast, and really cool tri-colored roasted potatoes which were also very good. My mom wanted to have the croffle,(croissant dough in a waffle iron,) so she got the Blueberry Cheesecake one. It looked fabulous, she loved it, plus she had a big portion to take home. (It's a nice touch that they box your food up for you, instead of just handing you a box.) We had a very nice little lunch at Anna's Cafe. It's super cute with good food and good service; so we'll definitely be back!

Food - brunch items, Holy Chili Basil Omelette $16 - wood not order again. Weak in flavor and size. Side of 7 roasted diced potatoes. Sad. Maybe 3 leaves of lettuce. Secret Garden Omelette looked a little better. Basically the same thing with flowery decoration on top. Sweet Paris Pancakes looked and tasted good. Once again, small servings, if you eat well, going to have to order sides to be satisfied. Probably ONE and DONE. Service was fair. Had to ask for everything that they should be on top of. Ambiance is very nice and relaxed. Don't mind paying, if the price matches the serving size and taste.

A friend of a friend saw this place was open and said it looked interesting. As it turns out, it just soft opened a few weeks ago, and they're just getting started. On the day we visited, they were doing promotional photos. We got to meet the owner and his family which made the experience better. It was great to see a family run business and support them. And on to the meal. The place is really cute inside. Love the way it's setup. Cassie was our waitress and she was helpful and informative about their menu, the history of the restaurant (they essentially moved from further north) and was excited to tell us about the owner and the chef (who is Thai, which explains the menu). The daytime / brunch menu is extensive with so many choices. It was tough to decide. There are some meat options, some fish choices, and plenty of vegetarian options. We ordered some espressos and egg dishes. And they were absolutely outstanding. And well worth the price. The potato mix was really great. Sweet, white, purple all mixed up. Wow. We were impressed! My friend and I both agreed we need to come back. And Cassie also shared the dinner menu with us (they are going to be open for dinner Friday-Sunday). And it looked great too.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

I can confidently say they delivered on one of those things, the experience. Unfortunately, the food felt like a failed attempt to escape... an escape room. Let's start with what absolutely works. The location is stunning. Truly breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is elegant, and the setting makes you feel like you have unlocked a premium level of Fort Lauderdale nightlife. The service is upscale and unhurried. No one rushes you, no one pressures you, and you are encouraged to linger and enjoy the moment. From a vibe perspective, you are winning. The drink menu is limited, but what they offer is top notch. Well crafted, balanced, and enjoyable. Think of the drinks as the first puzzle you solve successfully. Confidence is high at this point. Then the food arrives, and this is where the escape attempt starts to fall apart. We began with the bruschetta, which was absolutely dominated by balsamic. Not gently accented. Not thoughtfully drizzled. This was a full-scale balsamic ambush that completely overwhelmed the dish. Puzzle one failed. Next came the octopus. Perfectly cooked. Tender. Juicy. Textbook execution. Unfortunately, the flavor was nowhere to be found. Every bite was completely hijacked by the beans in the dish, leaving the octopus feeling like a background prop in its own plate. Puzzle two failed, morale dropping. Then came the calamari and mussels. Once again, the seafood was cooked properly, but flavor had clearly escaped through a hidden exit. Bland, forgettable, and confusing in how something prepared this well could taste like so little. Puzzle three failed, clock ticking. The fourth dish was the caprese salad, which somehow managed to swing in the opposite direction of the bruschetta. The tomatoes tasted like they were fresh from a grocery store shelf. The balsamic barely showed up this time, as if it had used up all its energy earlier. The mozzarella sat there watery and bland, contributing nothing and offering no clues. Final puzzle failed. Escape attempt unsuccessful. By the end of the meal, I felt like I had just spent two hours in an escape room where everything looked incredible, the staff was friendly, the room design was flawless, but none of the puzzles worked and you never actually escaped. Overall, Escape Rooftop Bar delivers breathtaking views, excellent service, and strong drinks. But the food turns the entire experience into a beautifully designed trap. When expectations are sky high and the kitchen cannot deliver, the disappointment hits harder. Two stars, awarded for the scenery, the cocktails, and the hope that one day the food finds the exit.
