I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars !!! My all time favorite Italian restaurant ! We came across this location by accident 1.5 years ago. We went to another place in the same plaza & the host never sat us down so we decided to leave & try Vignetos - thank you to the other place who ignored us! Since then when we want real Italian food & excellent service this is where we go! The staff always welcoming & friendly. Restaurant is big, clean & great for big groups ! Thank you can't wait for my next visit !

Came here for dinner. Busy restaurant. Sat down and served warm bread and marinara. Ordered Ceaser salads, chicken Franchise, shrimp marinara and another chicken dish. Excellent food for the price paid and big portions. Service was A1 and great ambience. Will be back.

This restaurant has been around for years. It's consistent. Last night the scallops and steak were cooked to perfection. Service always efficient and thorough.

I was excited to try this place due to the reviews, but I feel pretty let down. My family and I came on a Friday night, and we got there early enough that we didn't have to wait and were seated right away. Our server was pleasant, but once we had our food, he kind of disappeared. He took an especially long time when we were waiting for the check. As for the food, the best part of the meal was the bread. It was warm and delicious and our food runner/bus boy even gave us a fresh loaf to take home. My kids ordered plain pasta, which was fine ($7 each so not too bad). I had the chicken francese with pasta with marinara sauce. The francese sauce was too eggy and not nearly lemony enough. The marinara sauce was really more chunks of tomatoes than actual sauce. I will say the portion size was large. My husband ordered the salmon special with vegetables. The salmon was fine, but the veggies were hard and not at all seasoned. Overall, our experience was okay, but there are so many local Italian restaurants that I wouldn't come back to this one.

This Italian restaurant does not take reservations and is extremely busy on the weekends. Our only hope to get a six seater table was to arrive at 530pm and we were happily seated immediately. By 6pm every seat was occupied and the bar was hopping. They do have an excellent array of wines but I'm not a wine guy so I had an ice cold domestic beer to complement my delicious Angelos Salad (walnuts, carrots, onions, tomatoes, gorgonzola, parmigian and balsamic). The complimentary hot bread was excellent doused in olive oil. My entree was a butterflied filet mignon with a market price of $64.00 with a side of penne pasta. FYI: There waiter provided a warning that the steaks are intentionally undercooked, so I chose Med+. The wife ordered Chicken Francese which was two bloated breasts with a lemon butter wine sauce for $24.00. The gender assigned modern bathroom was clean with gray tile flooring and red accented walls. Loved the antibacterial soap dispensor.

Seriously the best Italian spot in Plantation / Davie area by far! They used to have a location in Weston and it still never compared to this location. They do not accept reservations so always arrive early with the intent to wait. Their staff is always welcoming and ready to make your experience amazing. I get the alla vodka chicken parmigiana every single time! It's a huge serving great to share or take home for left overs, pair this with a soup or salad and your set!

We were a party of six and had a wonderful dinner on a Wednesday night. The temperature was a little cool outside and it being a Wednesday we thought the place would be empty. Nothing could've been further from the truth as due to the quality of food and the fantastic service the place was packed. This restaurant never misses with great food specials nightly, and they dedicated staff. Santini our waiter was great, we would be thrilled to have him again on another visit.

Amazing experience here, my in laws were raving about this location off of 595 that we must try. We came had a bottle, enjoyed the scallops which melted as we chewed them up. The portions were large an our entrees were delicious. Can't wait to come back an try another dish.

We make a point to go here any time we're visiting town. The vesuvio is a MUST. My husband orders that just for his meal! The dishes can be a bit on the saucy side in appearance, but the sauce that's there is out of this world. Save some bread (or ask for more!) to dip in your meal. Also, pro-tip: for a small upcharge you can get the rigatoni bolognese in place of the spaghetti side that comes with the meal, and their bolognese is some of the best I've ever had. Service is always attentive and paced well. The drinks are stiff and tasty. It's a nice date night atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Came here on Halloween! Heard a lot about this place (specifically about the steak) and decided it was time to give it a try. It was definitely more casual than we were expecting (even more so when you add up the bill) but overall experience was nice. None of the specials had prices provided so we had a bit of shock when the scallop appetizer came out to $40, however, they were fantastically seared with a very crisp edge and incredibly tender center (would not order again due to price though). For entrees we got the chicken vodka Parmesan which was a huge portion and the NY strip with a side of gnocchi-- server at least did let us know this was extra but did not explain how much. Finished with a lovely tiramisu (ladyfingers weren't too soaked nor too crispy). Overall, delicious meal but be sure to ask for pricing.

Vignetos is in the Shops at One Plantation and mostly blocked by the McDonalds. The front of the restaurant is simple with only the name. The inside a dimly lit with a large wine rack in the center. The chicken Francese was large and perfectly cooked. I took some of it home for lunch tomorrow. The waiter was good and the table bread was wonderful dipped in olive oil.

    Is there a happy hour?

I don't believe so but please call the restaurant

Do they have a special menu for Thanksgiving?

    I don't know

    Do they offer gluten-free pasta?

I don't recall seeing any gluten free on the menu...altho they do veggies as an alternative. Maybe they have but you have to ask...best thing give them a quick call.

    Do they take reservations?

    No they don't

    Any vegan options here?

Im vegetarian so there are plenty of options for me. I think the only thing for a vegan would be a version of one of their salads.

They have pizza and flat breads.

    Do they have Stromboli's?

I’m sorry I don’t know. I did see pizza and flat breads.

I did note that everyone spoke Spanish, not Italian. When I was seated, I was alone in the place. Within the hour, the tables filled quickly. The Carbonara was nice. My Caesar Salad was good. The Chicago thin-styled pizza was fair. I say fair because the crust could have held-up a bit better under the weight of toppings. Everything was adequate. There are so many Italian restaurants in South Florida, it's really hard to be blown-away. The last time I had an amazing Italian meal was about 30 years ago at Casa D'Angelo in Ft. Lauderdale. His Aventura location doesn't even compare. I will say that if I'm in this area and want Italian (sans a chain), I would dine here again. The service was stellar.

Large bay doors stay open, creating an inviting open-air atmosphere with plenty of fresh air and a relaxed vibe. Inside, every table has a view of the traditional wood-burning brick oven, along with multiple flat screens and music playing throughout the restaurant. One detail that stood out immediately was the visible service dog sign near the hostess stand. I was seated right away, and they even brought out a water bowl for my service dog without needing to ask. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and confirmed they provide a 20% discount for military members and first responders on select meals, which is always appreciated. I shared a large Mona Lisa pizza topped with fresh basil, prosciutto, and thick slices of tomato. The thin crust came out perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char from the brick oven. Service was friendly overall, although it appeared the server may have been covering too many tables. Drink refills were missed, and it took a little while to close out the check. Even with that, the food, atmosphere, military-friendly discount, and service dog accommodations make this a place worth visiting for either lunch or dinner.

The centerpiece of the restaurant was the Marana steel dome, stone slab rotary pizza oven. It was very crowded inside and on the covered patio (dogs permitted) but was seated promptly at our reserved time. The server was professional but not overly chatty. She did not provide her name upon greeting nor did she have a visible name tag, so I cannot give her the personal kudos she deserves. The mystery server offered her opinion on a few popular appetizers from the expansive tranditional Italian menu. Ordered braised rib Arancini to share with the table and a pepperoni pizza with a nice char cornicione and a tangy sauce. The pizza was 6/10 and the balls were an admirable 9/10. The decor was commendable but seem to overpower the food and therefore missed it's mark on this visit as a 5 star behemoth. However my husband thought the pizza did not have enough taste - perhaps because the sauce to cheese Ratio was way off, with way too much crust, and the toppings were sparse for the cost. We would not get pizza from them again. Last night we ordered from them again and picked it up. My sister and I had the pumpkin ravioli with butter and cheese and sage and it was delicious! Very rich but an incredible flavor. We saved some for tomorrow! . My husband ordered the lasagna, which he said was good , but not great. We also got the rosemary bread again and it was just as delicious! We did order a side Caesar salad (small) and that was incredibly disappointing. The chopped lettuce was all brown and the hard ends of the romaine. ( see picture). Salad dressing was too harsh . I would not recommend it to anyone. I would have sent it back if we weee there, but it is still annoying to pay $ 6.90 to throw it away. So we will go back- there are several things we want to try- they do not do takeout for calamari or soups and we wanted to try those.
