I bought a suit at friar tux and this place was recommended for the alterations needed. I think when I came in the woman in charge was out so I had to wait a little which was no big deal. Once helped the woman who helped me was super friendly and gave me her recommendations. The suit turned out great. I also tried one other time as I needed a rush on some hem work for some pants. It was a Saturday and I tried finding help near home but no one seemed to have anyone that could do the work on the weekend. Having remembered my good experience here, I called and spoke to the woman who had helped me the first time. I got a couple done same day which was great. Oh my God never again with this place. I went last year to get a vest sewn on some ripped parts. Barely worn already ripping again in spot she "sewed" and she didn't even sew a part she was supposed to. She put a terrible cheap patch behind it that ripped right back out!! See pics. Was bringing that back and another for a quote and went out of my way today. The main woman wasn't there she just took off and left people that don't speak English there. Then I called back to try and send pics and the woman that didn't speak English patches me through to her , she doesn't give me a way to send pics, speaks Chinese in a 3 way call for 5 minutes then hangs up on me. I went to Anna Tailor to have my suit pants adjusted to let out the waist, and to have the suit dry-cleaned. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes for both drop-off and pickup, and the price was reasonable. The pants fit well now, and they still look new - I don't see any evidence of the adjustment on the outside. Highly recommend! read more

I had a great experience having my engagement and wedding dresses tailored here. My husband also had his wedding suit tailored here because we love working with May. They quickly became my go-to dry cleaner and tailor because they do an amazing job, are friendly and professional, and have reasonable prices and turnaround time. I worked with May for my engagement and wedding dresses alterations. The bridal shop that I went to had recommended bridal-specific tailors, but I knew May would do a good job because she's very detail-oriented. I had a mermaid style dress that was too long for me so she shortened the length and kept the beautiful details at the bottom. May also added a bustle (see picture). This was an awful encounter, that even months later, brings up so much disappointment. I came here as it was a tailor/cleaner close to my house with relatively good reviews and I needed to get a dress altered for a wedding that was happening on Saturday (the day of drop off was Wednesday) so I wanted to pick a spot that would be too far out of the way. The woman helping me out was nice/polite and straightforward. I feel comfortable, enough that I dropped off a second dress that I had been wanted to get fitted as well (no urgency). I explained to the woman the time crunch for dress #1. She acknowledged the urgency and we collaborated on a time for pick up on Saturday, ~ 11am; we went back and forth on this due to the shop opening at 10 am and her requiring time to open/set up etc. So, Saturday I arrive at 11:30 am, the same woman is working. I hand her my ticket, and she does her check and let's me know the dress wouldn't be done until 2:30; the wedding is at 1 pm. I'm literally at a loss for words at this point. I go over the details of our conversation which she says she remembers and she goes in the back once again and comes back to explain that they could probably have it done by 1:30! I tell her to forget about it, and leave to figure out a plan b. Aside from the fact that they didn't have my dress ready when they said they would, I was so upset when they call me, at 1 pm, to let me know the dress was ready. DURING THE WEDDING!! It was like rubbing salt in a wound. I eventually went back as they had another dress from me, attempted to rectify the situation with a "discount" to the 1st dress, $20 off. The problem was even with the discount the price was more than the dress was worth. I lost out on this exchange big time. As for the alterations, it seems like they took up the hem and brought in the waistline but the bust was just as baggy as before. read more

I had my nursing school scrub pants tailored at Anna's this week and they came out perfect. I wanted the scrubs to be really slim fit for a guy and, although they were not tapered enough the first round, the ladies at Anna's were exceptionally nice and did a quick turn around to get them perfectly fitted in time for my class. The attention to detail by them is incredible too, I could not tell in the stitching that they cut the pants at all. These are now so fitted, even better than Figs! I cannot even begin to say how sad I have to even write this on yelp as customers deserves to know. I have been coming here for two years and always done a good job but it was more for simple stuff pants/ dry cleaning. I brought in my bridal shower dress which cost me a fortune and asked to keep the material, so we can make a bow out of it. I was told "of course " and agreed to the terms before I paid $130. Came back a week and half, well that's what $130 work looks like on a $700 dollar dress and to make matters worst, I came back three times now trying to get the left over materials. The first time, I was told it was at someone's else house, the second time they are now on vacation, and then the third visit they tried to tell me that I never asked for it and I only asked for a hem. Topping off with a little bit of attitude and tried to convince me that only thing left of the dress was a few inches of material. Clearly in my picture there is a lot more to spare. Also, Not sure how my dress material even end up leaving the shop. It's one thing to make a mistake, possibly forget, and or maybe they had one bad day. However, the disappointing part in all this this is how everything was handled, different stories I was getting, and the attitude I got when I kept asking questions. I been coming here not only because they have done such a good job with my dry cleaning but also I trusted them. In the end, after all that the attitude shift and they finally apologized. They Offered to fix my dress and also ship the rest of my materials but at this point I was just done. To find a business to trust makes a huge difference. I will never come back again and I will be paying someone else to fix this. Soo deeply sad. read more

I recently had 2 dresses altered here. I had been before with another dress and that was fine so i came back. When i picked up my 2 dresses, i paid and left. It wasnt until i got home that i looked at them. One of the dresses which was a nude color - it had an iron stain on it across the entire top of the dress! And because of the color of the dress, it was VERY noticeable! And I had to wear this particular dress 2 days from when I picked it up. I paid $60 to get 2 dresses tailored and I get them back to find one ruined. Well, not ruined anymore because I fixed it! I googled how to take iron stains out and the answer was distilled vinegar! I dabbed distilled vinegar across the stain and it came out! No thanks to this place. The actual tailoring was fine. It just kind of sucks to have to pay $60 which is not cheap by the way, to get a dress back like that. That I have to end up fixing. read more

Late last year took summer blanket to alter. Took written length & width measures. Spouse reviewed all with woman, and left the Written measurements with her. Spouse asked her to put safety pin next to tag, bottom left. It was to be used as a reference for length & width. Now weather is warm, took blanket out to use. Blanket length is too short. Turned length to be the sides. Of course, the sides are too long. Now, taking blanket to another place to have width shortened.
