Please check their price before because they charge what ever they want. She charged me $45 to shorten jeans. Normally $10-20 Also Call them before you go because they Open the store when ever they like . They say they are open M_F 10-6 But most of the time they are not open on Friday and Monday. read more

I have used Arturo's for several years and have been mostly pleased. Today I took 2 l/s shirts to be taken in, was measured, asked the price and was told $40 apiece. I was given a claim ticket, did not look at it until I put it in my car. Imagine my displeasure that instead of the $80 quoted to me, the amount written down was $150, almost double. I immediately returned to the shop and asked why she had altered the quote without even notifying me. She replied, "there is going to be extra work." I retrieved my shirts, told her I was never coming back and would not encourage others to risk the disingenuousness that is involved with this seamstress!!! read more

I was looking for a local shop to have a bridesmaid dress altered and am so glad I found Arturo's. It was really easy to make an appointment online for a fitting. I showed up on a Saturday morning and it took maybe only 10 minutes for Tania to see what needed to be altered (taking in the straps and hemming it). She asked when I needed it and offered to have it done in a week, but I said that there wasn't a rush. She got it done in 2 weeks. My dress fits perfectly now! Picking up was very easy. He's the man. I don't get clothes tailored or fix often, but last week in preparation for the 4th of July festivities I had to transform a pair of long overalls into short-alls. Shameless admission. SO, after reading other positive reviews plus the near proximity to my house, I brought my dear overalls to Arturo's! Located in a cute little courtyard type business center with that iconic hanging door sign that was relatively easy to find, I entered with fingers crossed that I would have them back in all their glory in time for the celebrations. A quick try on and chalk mark to where I wanted them shortened and I was ready to go. It was so easy and simple, PLUS they promised they would be ready regardless of how busy they clearly were. Pick up was easy and inexpensive- he even remembered me, which was so nice and unexpected. They were perfect and a total hit at the party! Arturo is the only tailor I will go to. After having purchased suits and having many on-site tailors disappoint me every time, I decided to ask around about tailor's. Arturo's name kept coming up. I called and his nephew told me Arturo would be off that Saturday and recommended coming on Monday. I brought Arturo two suits(older) that needed complete refitting and some pants(new) that needed some leg slimming. Without so much as having to tell Arturo what I wanted he went to work. He asked all the right questions(age, profession) and he knew that I wanted a modern, european style slim-fit on the suits without a break on the bottom of the leg. He measured, and told me they'd be ready. I've sent many people that work for me to Arturo, and everyone came back impressed by the quickness and integrity Arturo displays in his shop. He even let me put a few business cards up at the counter! Arturo, I'll see you tomorrow with a new suit and some other goodies for your expertise. This is by far the best tailor shop I have used. They have made cheap suits look custom made, and have done wonders with my dress shirts. Very Fast, very professional and prices are very fair. I had my buddy's wedding this weekend and needed a suit tailored ASAP. They were able to have it measured and done for me within a day when others said it would take up to 1 week (after the wedding).
