I have been qualified for energy assistance. They have received money every year from the Office of Home Energy Programs. One year they paid over $1400.00. Therefore, because of my financial circumstances, I couldn't pay the $400 to $600 once propane was delivered. The Grant money is issued once a year in July or August. They refused to work with me. They cut me off a couple of times during the winter months. I have not used any propane in over a year. I purchased a heating element to do anything that I needed to cook. I also have a microwave and toaster oven. Having to look over several months statements, I noticed that I am being charged a rental fee of $53.00, that said annual fee. Every time I get a bill there is that rental fee added to the bill. I have had so many discussions with them, the last email I received from them told me that all companies charge rental fees. I called a couple of the other companies and was told they do not charge a rental fee on their tanks. When I informed them that they were wrong, I was told to find another company. I don't know what business behaves this way, but in my opinion, it is wrong. I am 76 years old and disabled. I can't work any longer and my social security benefits cover just the bare necessities, such as rent, food, water and sewer, gas, car insurance, registration on my vehicle is over $190.00. I can't pay it all. Yes, I get $50 food stamps benefits, but that amount is very small. I do appreciate it though. I'm at my wits end. I have a low credit score and can't afford to get another propane company without them asking for a huge deposit. If I had a large amount in my bank, I wouldn't be in this situation.

At night it's predominantly African America workers while in the morning time its predominantly caucasian workers.. Why is there not a blend of ethnic workers running the morning and night shifts ?? I've noticed a good Manager who works here, name Tracy, and a fellow team member who's name is Tyree, very good workers who supply store goods and store merchandise respectfully ( in the laws of stores regulations ) at night but they're not receiving any day time shifts.. If everyone is operating within the same law then everyone should be of "Like mind".. Managers at the store # 51, I feel u need to converse with your employees in a team meeting in making shore that everyone is on the same page in speaking their minds and heart (Truth) and implement a fair solution where everyone is receiving fair treatment.. In the Churches we have a belief : "1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought". What u see in the above scripture is a representation of equality in submission to God & his Christ known as Jesus .. In the store case y'all's submission is to the law which should uphold equal opportunity.. Thank you.. By: K. DeCosta

It turns out that the electrodes were slightly misaligned, causing a small accumulation of oil within my unit. Unfortunately to get to this resolution, it took a 1-star experience. A very unhelpful technician (1-star) came and went in less than 10 minutes, telling me he couldn't smell the odor so I'd "need a second opinion". I called back to SMO for further assistance. Tyrisha Monroe assisted me (5-stars!). Each time I called in, I spoke with Tyrisha. She was extremely courteous, understanding, and helpful. She immediately scheduled a more experienced technician to my case. Within a few hours, Reggie was at my door (5-stars++!). Reginald Morton has serviced our furnace in the past. He is extremely professional, wise in his trade, and a genuinely nice man whom I gladly welcome into my home. Reggie worked hard, trouble shot the issue, explained everything to me, then made sure the entire space was nice and clean before he left. I have always been impressed with Reggie's quality of work and kind demeanor. After today's experience, I requested that he be tagged as my preferred technician (I'm not sure if that's a thing, but I certainly hope it is!) --as long as all you Yelp readers don't start requesting him to the point that he is not available when I need him. ;D Well done SMO, you have two extremely professional employees who care about their work. They deserve your acknowledgement. In this day of so many people being more interested in themselves than their job, this was refreshing.
