Home Depot is my go-to place for materials, tools, and supplies for household projects. The prices are good and the inventory is good for a physical store. I often use their phone app to check availability & items' location in the store. We have also bought large household appliances and paid for installation & removal of old appliances. The service was great & convenient. I learned about their ProX option for contractors, handymen, and others. I thought that I had to prove that I owned a business. Turns out that anyone can sign up for free. The savings benefits come into effect after spending a certain amount of money. Hence more suited for businesses or people who are constant DIYers like me. I am in the store at least once a week. Oh, they have a military discount program. Now, while the staff if helpful, often it's hard to find the staff. It's a big store and they are often busy. For me, this is not a problem since I usually know what I need and the app tells me the items' location in the store. But some people might feel lost in the store. read more

Home Depot is everyone's favorite box store, right? I'm not sure what it is about this location but the parking lot and inside layout can induce anxiety and elevated senses borderline frustration. I almost wish they'd go ahead and post a map of the store upfront. It takes you longer to find and flag an associate than to get the item yourself and go through self check out. My encounters here have all been in the garden center. June is a busy time and plants multiply almost weekly. I don't mind searching high and low for plants and garden essentials especially propagated ones to start/add to your garden! I've found quite a few rescues who are all thriving so if you want to add to your hoard of plants check them out. This is the closest store to us. We give home depot alot of business. I just recently purchased another portable heater for my basement area. Works well in the smaller areas. I was also looking for a new dishwasher. Found the perfect one online and came in because I was hoping they had the display in the store but no luck there. Also there was only one lady in that area and she was with a customer a long time so we decided to purchase it online. They deliver, haul off your old equipment & set up the new one. My dishwasher haven't been drying my dishes properly & makes a loud sound When turned on. The previous owners of our house bought it in 2020. That purchase was not the name brand I would have bought. It's always important to read reviews before purchasing. I can't wait for my replacement. Meanwhile the heater is working perfectly in my basement. read more

The service I received during today's to The Home Depot in Pasadena less than professional. I went there to purchase a storm door, and after finally finding an employee, I was told he would be right over. After waiting for 15 minutes, the employee couldn't be found, and no one offered to assist me or locate him. What was most frustrating is that there seemed to be more employees huddled together than helping customers. This lack of available, accessible staff made what should have been a straightforward purchase feel inefficient and unprofessional. Managers need to ensure customers are being helped promptly and that there is adequate staffing on the floor. I expect better service and better oversight to prevent this from happening again. read more

Have visited this HD for over 25 years and have yet to have a satisfying experience. Because of this I generally go to the HD in north Glen Burnie. But I was in the area, needed a few items, so stopped in. I spent almost 40 minutes in the store and only got two of the six items I needed. Either this HD was out-of-stock or didn't have the exact item I wanted. That happens and I don't hold it against the store. It was the lack of customer service I received during this visit, the dirtiness of the store, and carts of stacked merchandise everywhere, haphazardly placed and in the way. I asked several employees where to find something and I got non-helpful responses. "that's in hardware", like 'no crap its in hardware' I'm thinking ... that's in the back of the store on the left side ... and I loved this one... I don't know but think thats in the electrical section. I wasn't looking for an aisle by aisle play map but at least walk the customer to the section and pass them over to the employee working in that section... Ohh, well ... Wasn't sure where it was I looked and passed by 4 employees, none of which helped me. 2/4 helped other customers after approaching me and one of the employees that passed me by was bitching the entire time about having to work. I was extremely agitated with the lack of assistance and decided to just leave after 15 minutes. Normally I go to the one in Annapolis but I'm in the Pasadena area often that I figured I would come here since I was in the area. But given the lack of employees that actually wanted to help me I will never come back here again. No thanks, I'll just keep going to the Annapolis location, at least I'm helped every time i go in there even when I don't need assistance (as I did today). read more

We visited this store this past weekend to buy plants and we were very disappointed. The garden center inventory wasn't very good and the prices seem to be highly inflated on everything. Many of the plants seemed to be struggling and the overall stocking /presentation was subpar. Poor quality and selection plants and the sizes of the plants were small compared to the prices. I understand it is early in the season but we visited other garden centers and had a much better experience. It almost seems like everything has doubled since 2019 pre pandemic here. We do continue to shop at the main store interior which is usually a good experience. Most of the prices seem to be comparable with all the other retailers. read more

Fortunately this Home Depot location is right down the road from my house because I am there ALL THE TIME! Being a homeowner isn't cheap and the trips to Home Depot may decrease for a while but never go away! I don't even want to know how much money I have spent here over the last four years. The majority of the time I receive excellent customer service at this location. On a few occasions I was met by a less than friendly employee that left me more frustrated but overall, the employees here are great. When Covid restrictions first hit, Home Depot was the place everyone wanted to be. There was always a long line but the employees handled it efficiently. My husband and I have completed many projects over the years and get all of our material here. Earlier in the week I ordered stones for my garden. Because our truck was not capable of hauling the heavy load, we had it delivered. Every delivery we had from this location was great. There were two times that I placed ordered in advance for pick up. One time went great and the second time was a nightmare. It was a huge order for my deck and the order had not been picked upon arrival even though I had the time quoted. This was way before Covid. I label myself as the 'project assistant'. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing hands on so I am the one who gets sent to Home Depot multiple times during a project to purchase additional supplies or anything else. Because I am not familiar with all of the products, my husband often sends me a screenshot of where in the store to find what I need. I have always been lucky enough to find an awesome employee who was willing to help me gather what I need. I have even had employees help me load items into the truck. Now that the spring is here I will be here just as often for lawn maintenance supplies. Although I dread spending money at Home Depot, I am happy to have one close to home! read more

It would state it was available but it wasn't so inventory is off in the store. I was told something could deliver and had to discuss it with 5 different people before getting the parts we needed. Horrible! Go to just about any other Home Depot then this one. Go to LOWEs! I have been going here on and off for about 3 years since we built out home here in Freetown/GB area. I really try to go to the one one farther from our home and avoid this location whenever possible just because the service is the WORST! Just the other evening Tuesday April 27th 2021 at around 8PM I went into this location to pick up a drill. I did a stock check online to see if they had it in store and it did say "low stock check with an associate" so when I arrived I walked up to a woman and asked her if she could perform a stock check. The woman told me that what I saw is what they had and I explained to her I looked in their app and it said they may have the item I needed and I already checked the isle and bay that the item should have been located and I didn't see it but there were alot of items locked up that I didn't have the ability to look into / check. The associate was supposedly a front end trainer or leader of some sort which is just sad because I heard the way she was speaking to the trainee and I am surprised they are able to keep employees with a woman as nasty as her training them. She was so rude to not only me but also the poor woman she was training. Thank god another associate walking by heard what I was looking for and took me back to the isle. They had the drill that I needed - it was the LAST one. When I checked out I asked to speak to a manager. I heard the associate on the phone paging the manager giving a novel explanation to the manager about why she was rude to me. When the manager Ryan arrived he said that the associate didn't like dogs (I had mine with me) and that is why she was the way she was. This is inexcusable. My dog was not near this woman nor should my dog have any impact on her kindness. I am writing this review because I don't believe this associates behavior will be addressed or corrected. I heard the way she spoke to the assistant manager and I just had the impression other customers will have the same horrible experience I had. If a manager reads this there are 2 take aways from this review / experience. First, my purchase was approx 70.00 - how many other customers left without help because of this associates attitude and laziness. How many sales have been lost and can still be lost because of this associate and potentially other employees with the same attitude as her. Second, if you take time speak to your employees in training - the ones working that evening and other days. Ask your trainees for honest feedback (that will not get back to this woman or other trainers) so that they can be honest with you about their interactions and experiences with this woman because I can't for a moment believe anyone likes to be spoken to in the manner this woman spoke to her trainee that evening. Im so disappointed in this Home Depot and I will continue to try to drive to the one farther away just because the staff there are always more helpful and friendly. I really hope someones sees this review and makes some meaningful changes at this store. read more

He asked one of the older male sales reps where he could find a part, and the sales rep told him which isle it would be located on. When we turned to go to the isle, I gave the sales rep a courteous smile as an acknowledgement that he was helping me as well. The sales rep responded by giving me a frown and a very mean look. So my friend and I went to find the part we were looking for, and then we returned. The sales rep asked my friend if he found what he was looking for and he said yes. Once again I tried to give a courteous smile of appreciation, thinking that I must have misunderstood the look I got the first time. Who would treat a customer that way? I shopped at the Pasadena, MD Home Depot on Mountain Road on March 28, 2023. I needed shelf liner and even though they had a fairly good inventory, none of it was usable because every single roll of shelf liner was coated in a thick layer of dust/dirt. I gave three stars only because there were lots of employees there and they were all very helpful. I especially loved that a friendly employee asked me what I was looking for as soon as I walked in. Shelf liner is a product that can't be dirty--they should toss everything & start over with new, clean inventory in an area of the store that won't get coated in dirt. read more

This is a follow on to my Next Day Floors review. We had all new floors put in, the cabinets refaced, and new counters put in. Home Depot did the cabinets and counters. It has been an ongoing pain in the ass since March. The original work was shoddy at best. They came after I complained and made a needs corrected list. A few weeks later they came back and addressed a few of the problems. I called again last week to see when they would fix the rest of the crappy work and was told we will call you right back. No call, so now I have to go into asshole mode, and it should not have to get to this point. If you are thinking of using their home services section, just skip it. All they will do is contract it out to the lowest bidder and you will be stuck dealing with them as a middle man who doesn't really care if you are satisfied as they already have your money. read more

My only complaint about this location is the curbside pickup. It's pretty slow and unorganized. I tried it a few times. One time I waited for over 45 min only to have to go inside anyways. read more

I have waited over 3 weeks to be measured for doors that' were suppose to be measured in 3 days ( on that Fri ) which is the only day that they measure . I could not be more upset with the lack of care at this store. I actually had to hound an associate to help me purchase a washer/dryer combo, then the guy they got to help me load it wouldn't even put a hand on it. All he did was complain about how it was too big and "this is not good" as he kept repeating until I got to the point of just telling to go away so I can load it myself, wich he happily did. Bottom Line: Your average Home Depot. Nothing spectacular, nothing particularly off-putting. Overall, this Home Depot is ok. I haven't encountered any super enthusiastic employees here but if you flag someone down they are willing to help you. The store is just about as dirty as any other Home Depot. Something I really like about Home Depot in general is their Ridgid line of tools. Also, I like that you can pay for stuff online and then quickly pick it up at the front of the store. read more

If I could post -5 stars I would. Went to purchase countertops. Took 2 weeks to get someone to my house to measure. They came said that I need more support for a bar area which this was a renovation. I was fine put in supports, 2 more weeks to have them come back. They were gonna charge me $200 for return trip! Any questions you have to call Home Depot they relay to countertop contractor it takes 3 days. They sent us a diagram. Sizes were not right we questioned the information provided. Then the countertop contractor cancelled our order. They said they could not provide the service. It was 8 weeks and still no countertop. Went to another countertop store had my measurements in 2 days. Diagram in 5 days and countertop in 2 weeks. It was the same design that we wanted Home Depot to do. Then home depot wanted to charge me $200 for cancelling the countertops which I had in writing they cancelled it. I was going to order carpet there but no way! Very frustrating and it shouldn't have been. read more

Sloppy. Bottom line get your propane somewhere else. That's the problem here. Several times now I've been there to get a propane refill. Here's what happens - pay inside, go to the automated kiosk, kiosk fails, customer support is out to lunch, when they eventually show they're apathetic. This time it took 38 minutes to get my three tanks. THIRTY EIGHT MINUTES. That's beyond not OK. It probably took that long the last two times also, but I just sighed and shut up. Not this time. Broke machine? Get it fixed or go to a manual system. Clearly this has been broke for many months, if not years, and they just accept it. They accept lousy, low standards and shrug it off. We shop at Home Depot stores at least once a week. However, I Will not shop at this Home Depot location ever again. Home Depot is listed as one of the largest dog dog friendly retail chains in the country and shocked that this location is not dog friendly. I have never had any issues bringing my dog to any other Home Depot in the Anne Arundel county area until I came to this one. Would rather shop at a Lowe's or travel to Annapolis where my dog is welcome. Home Depot has the worst service I have ever encountered. A front door that was ordered in October has yet to be put in even tho it is now late February. It has been one delay after another. Also, gutters around my entire house were installed in November and are leaking. After an entire day calling back and forth to their customer service they agreed to send someone at 9 A.M. this morning. My delivery was missing a the drip edges and I had to go thru 4 or 5 reps and still did not get it resolved. 2 online reps told me to wait because they were taking a lunch break and never get back to me in time. Another one from the stores called me, put me on hold and hung up on me and never called Back. I had to call myself and figure out what to do!!!! Because of the missing items delivery I had to cancel my contractor and the project is now delayed. We went to Home Depot on Mountain Road in Glen Burnie and received the most AMAZING service from Kaylene in the paint department..she was so friendly and helpful, and most accommodating when I chose the wrong paint and needed to have it remixed. Do not order a custom patio doors, I have been waiting for 3 months, I keep getting the run around that this is on back order that is on back order, then you have to call to see if they can check on when the installer will call, it seems as so if you don't call them they will take their time to reach out to you. The store was not crowded. There were many workers standing around doing nothing. I asked for help several times and was told this is not my department, I will get someone to help. I waited a long time and finally someone came to assist. He did not seem to have much interest in trying to answer my questions. I guess there is a difference between a order taker and sales person who is knowledgeable and excited to sell a customer. I think it would be a good idea to always have someone close by to assist. This is the worst Home Depot to buy appliances from. I am the project manager for a local builder and constantly have to show the installers how to do their job. Home owners have been told they need to return appliances because Home Depot couldn't install them. Other stores have no issue installing any other appliances , just Home Depot.
