Today I ordered a waffle with bananas, chocolate chips, over easy eggs, bacon and an order of sourdough. My wife got the tostadas with a side of bacon. My waffle came out and it looked like they dropped my eggs on the counter and slid them back on the plate. Seriously, the whites were wrinkled and folded up. My waffle was plain with no chocolate chips or bananas. I had to ask another waitress for them. She brought them and said they are always on the side. By then my waffle was cool and the chocolate chips just sat on it. My wife never got her bacon and the waitress blamed the kitchen. She brought it out but we were almost done eating. My friend & I had breakfast today. Our server was okay but not too attentive. We waited a very long time for our meal to arrive. Had to flag down another server for coffee refill. We really enjoyed the Okemos location and were excited to try the new Grand Ledge location. After a few minutes we walked out it was freezing cold (too cold) the barista had a hooded sweatshirt on. They were not busy. We were not attended to. The hostess could not have cared less. We walked out and went to Sophia's. Sophia's is still full at 10:30am because they are friendly, we had coffee, crayons and a coloring page, and our order in within three minutes despite how busy they are. My wife and I decided to change it up and try the new Anna's House in Lansing. First off, this restaurant deserves more than a 3 star review and leaving a negative review due to a lack of technological understanding/user error is unfair. The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of unique options that all sounded tempting. Although unique, nothing was super out there to where it would scare you away from considering the option. Portion sizes were perfect in my opinion. Plenty to eat without leaving like you feeling like you had your seventh serving of Thanksgiving dinner. We will definitely be back to try out the different options that aren't available at the usual breakfast locations. read more

The service was okay we did wait 45 or more minutes for the food to come. The waiter was really sweet and knew what we wanted and we didn't wait long to be waited on. Now the food was not the best I always get the lemon poppy seed crepes an they must've changed the recipe for the filling cream cheese because it was bland and not good. The crepes were cooked to perfection tho and the blueberry sauce was good and so was the sausage. Now my mother's food was alright the pancakes were not cooked all the way and weren't good but the bacon on eggs were good. The place was clean tho and the decoration were beautiful the bathroom situation is a bit odd they only have 2 women's and 1 men's which is odd speaking they are really busy it seams like. I went around 11:30 was told it'd be about 15 minutes for two. Ended up waiting 35 minutes which is fine I get it. But then we sat down they gave us dirty menus and a poorly wiped down table. We ordered stuff tater tots to start, they forgot about them in the kitchen. Our server was kind but frustrated with the kitchen, they put a rush on them. Half of them were not fully cooked in the center. I ordered the French toast combo came with eggs and a meat. For 14$ And I ordered a side of hash brown for an extra 4$ ( hashbrowns were the best part ). My boyfriend got a Ruben sandwich. I felt terrible for him it's father's days. It literally looked like they put a pinch of meat which was jerky. He took maybe a few bites and said he would rate it a 3 out of 10. They restaurant was busy but not busy enough to serve what they did. My bill was 47 I believe after they took the tater tots off the bill. Honestly I would never go back or recommend this place. This is a 5 Star Breakfast/Brunch Restaurant in Grand Ledge. Large food selection, quality and tasty. I had the Breakfast Lasagna-very good and healthy. My wife had Eggs Benedict-again delicious. Both had a homemade sauce. Excellent service. Over the top atmosphere and ambience. You have to see and dine to appreciate. We've been to Anna's in Grand Rapids and Okemos, both good. This one in Grand Ledge is as good or better, surrounded by multiple shopping options. Definitely recommend and will make this a regular visit. read more

The toaster collection along the ceiling is cute. The waitresses are nice and friendly. However, my concern is the pricing. A 'meat and cheese' omelet costs $14.75 and this only includes toast. It is an additional charge if you want potatoes. Neither of our omelets were very warm. This price is too expensive for a lukewarm omelet. I won't be returning. read more

But the juice was pretty bland. I had the large cinnamon roll at the Kalamazoo location and it was so good! So I ordered one for us! That was a great disappointment. GREAT FOOD BUT GREETERS NEED TO WORK ON THEiR SERVICE I dined at this location for the first time on Tuesday, December 30,2025. Was meeting a friend for breakfast at 10:00 AM. When I walked in, there were a couple of young ladies busy at the greeter's stand. And two small groups of two to three people who arrived ahead of me. I witnessed one of the greeters/waitresses assist one of the groups then the other, and as I stood by, not once was I asked had I been helped or even spoken to. Yet, at least two young ladies came up to the greeter's stand, read something and then just walked away like I wasn't there. Standing at 5'8", I don't think they missed me. The final disservice, was when a coworker of mine and her large family of 6+ walked in, well after me, and a greeter asked them how many were in their party. I then felt the need to speak up and inform her that I was waiting for service and my co-worker indicated that I was there first, THEN, my friend and I were finally seated. My advice to them would be to ensure every one of their employees greet every guest when they are close enough to do so. Just to be mindful of how they stay in business. We used the Yelp waitlist and were immediately seated after checking in with the host, as instructed on the Yelp site. The interior is bright and fun. It was busy and the main dining area was loud. It's open without much to buffer sound. We were seated in a back corner which worked out perfectly and insulated us from the noise. The server was pleasant and our food came in a timely manner. We tried the Monte Cristo with American Fries, Breakfast Wet Burrito with hashbrowns, and the Anna's Burger with sweet potato fries. I was pleasantly surprised that the Monte Cristo wasn't overly sweet and quite tasty. The American Fries were well cooked, but lacked seasoning making them bland and underwhelming. The Breakfast Wet Burrito was delicious. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. Soft, but not mushy on the inside and crisp on the outside. Anna's burger was good, but I wouldn't pick Anna's if I wanted a great burger. The sweet potato fries were well done and tasty. I also tried the Twilight latte with almond milk. It was so good. Better than Biggby or Starbucks even being only lukewarm. You all have to heat the hot drinks up a little more. I prefer empty dishes be cleared when the server passes by and has the ability to do so. This just makes for less clutter and a cleaner dining experience. Other than a few minor things, which will easily be remedied with time, we had a wonderful experience and are so happy to have a new breakfast spot on the west side of Lansing. read more

All of the staff was super nice except the initial host! Since the restaurant doesn't feel it's necessary, I will go ahead and let everyone know that IF YOU JOIN THE WAITLIST ON YELP AND BECOME THE FIRST IN LINE, YOU HAVE TO GO IN TO "check in" or they will REMOVE YOU FROM THE WAITLIST. none of the other anna's house locations are like this and the host felt the need to make sure i felt stupid for not knowing, so here's your warning that if you're next in line to be seated you MUST go in or they will literally just delete your reservation:) even if you've waited TWO HOURS for a table for three people :) epic food though and my server was nice lol but i think imma stick to the Okemos location for now read more

They use three different systems for their list and don't tell you need to check in way in advance otherwise people bump you on the list. We waited over and hour and half and they said we still had to wait another half hour since other people had checked in earlier at the front but we're way behind on the list.
