While I've reviewed Pacific Kitchens in the past, I have to write a new review today…read more Pacific Kitchens updated my kitchen in 2018, and from Tom's initial consultation to the office team, installers and the product, my husband and have always been very pleased. This past month we had to place a service request to have one of drawers adjusted. Service technician Chris was sent out. His communication and dedication to making sure we were happy with the repair was truly amazing! After all these years, our kitchen looks beautiful and Pacific Kitchen's customer service is top notch! Thank you to the entire team!

I wen't with Pacific…read moreKitchens because of the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience didn't meet my expectation. The job took a bit of time to complete because the installer only works half days, but I easily overlooked that because I cared more that the job was done right. After completion I realized the cabinet face frames were not covered in any laminate material. They were left bare leaving the wood exposed and prone to damage. When I finally got in contact with Lynn (first I messaged Tom and I believe Glen(?) with no response) she stated that face frames are considered a part of the interior cabinet which is not included in their refacing process and that the refacing only includes exterior surfaces. My question is, If this was not included in the process, then why remove the old face frame material, only to leave the wood bare. If refacing the frame was not included, then don't remove what is currently there, especially if the cabinets are being refaced the same color. Furthermore, the old face frames on those particular cabinets were still in good condition. This makes no sense to me and I simply cannot recommend this company with such lack of morality and care.

I hired them to install a waterfall-style counter back in June 2021. Barely a year later, the waterfall cracked for no clear reason. They came out again in July 2022 to repair it, but the job was subpar. I noticed that between the waterfall backing and the side of the cabinet. It wasn't flush at all. Which I'm assuming that it allowed the water fall to slide inward more than 90 degrees, thus putting strain at the joint. But I am not a professional installer. It took them until August 22, 2022, to actually address this crack and I was assured the issue wouldn't happen again, however nothing was done to fill the gap with sub board to prevent inward movement of the granite. Unfortunately, it did again crack. A third crack appeared on April 22, 2023. I reached out multiple times via email and phone, only to be completely ignored. No callbacks, no emails, nothing from their receptionist or customer service team. Then, in May 2025 -- the worst-case scenario happened -- the waterfall slab literally fell off the counter. It nearly injured my child, grazing his arm as it collapsed. This wasn't just poor workmanship; it was dangerous. I've given them multiple chances over the years to make this right, but the lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone if this is still their current practice and to avoid at all costs.

They take no responsibility for their mistakes and will say all the problems are because of your house. Martha is a combative sales rep and has no interest in being fair or ethical in her customer service. The owner, Weiss, is no better. He doesn't honor their warranty. They reluctantly came out 3 times to attempt to fix their mistakes and my counters still aren't close to being even. Don't waste your time or money. They should be reported to the better business bureau.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by them and it was a great experience…read more A couple of things I wanted to highlight: 1. They are a nice family business, and they have seamless coordination between the designer, cabinet installer, and stone installer. You won't run into a situation where gaps are left between subcontractors. 2. There were no hidden fees or unreasonable change orders. The final price was exactly what was initially quoted. 3. We chose Dekton for the countertop, which is fabulous but also known to be harder to fabricate and install. Our countertop was so masterfully completed; the grain patterns all matched up and fit together perfectly. 4. Marlene, the cabinet designer, has vast knowledge of products on the market, which gives her the capability to create ideas for non-standard options. 5. Carlos and the cabinet installers, were so multi talented, they did custom carpentry work per customer's wish, and also electrical connections and drywall finish, all with good quality. 6. Celia, the schedule controller had clear communication for the timeline, no over promise, all realistic, no back and forth changes, which makes it easy for the customers to plan their schedule around the construction. Overall, I wanted to highly recommend SD Cabinets and Stone to potential customers.

Had a positive meeting with owner Dan on Oct 29 for over an hour, fully described what we were…read morelooking for, definitely not an ordinary remodel and would require some custom carpentry to match existing. Dale seemed to understand what we were looking for, and said we would start by demo of some drywall to see what was inside. We'd had that wall open before and we told him what he would find but were okay with this being the first step. In the contract, it did state: "This estimate is for exploratory work only. To inspect the wall for structural, wiring and any plumbing in the wall. This estimate in no way is a guarantee that we will repair or continue with the proposed remodel of Plan B. This estimate is for demo only. Blue Line Builders may elect not to proceed with Plan B due to structural issues's." We went ahead and paid for the demo that we had already marked out on the wall and frankly could have easily done ourselves. The young man that did the work was very polite and tidy. He took a bunch of pics while he was here. Waited 2 weeks, emailed Blueline twice to find out about next steps. Dan eventually replied he would need to "re-inspect what was opened up and see if this project would be something I would want to get involved in." I was concerned when I read this because I knew nothing was discovered structurally to have them decide not to perform this work--why start if you never intended to continue without justification? Why waste each others' time? Dan came out 20 Nov, was here less than 5 min, said he needed his worker to come out and remove more insulation in the ceiling to get a good idea of the load bearing wall. So the same young man came out again, and removed a good chunk of my insulation to make the attic area visible. And thats it. Haven't heard from them since. I have a 4.5ftX7ft hole in my entry and am now looking for another contractor. I don't know why they started if this did not seem to be the kind of job that fit their schedule/kind of remodel. They learned nothing from tearing open the drywall that would have led them to decide not to continue to work with us. I wish they would have just said no, not interested. UPDATE: After this review, Dale contacted me and said this was not the experience he wanted me to have, and offered to come back free of charge to patch the hole. I declined but told him I appreciated the offer. I asked him to be more frank about work that may not be their bailiwick in the future, and we parted on good terms.

We did have a few contractors come over and provide us a bid but only Dale provide me one within 48 hours. The rest of the other contractors were asking for the insurance estimate. It did take them about a week more to finish due to covid but we are so happy how everything turned out. Thank you!
