Right off the bat, I…read morefelt reassured that this was the owner of the company answering the phone, and he seemed really down-to-earth and professional. He came out the next day exactly when he said he would to take a look at the floors. I immediately sensed that he was a stand-up guy. I didn't even get another quote. Based on my research, he seemed to be exactly in the ballpark of what I expected. And he gave me a couple of options based on what they would discover once they sanded. It turns out, there was a lot more termite damage than we realized, and the previous owners' pet urine stains had done some major damage to the floors. But Ismael reassured me that the darker stain would hide a lot of those stains (he was right!). The price did increase based on the additional work, but it was still so reasonable. And seeing the crew here working as hard as they did, I felt like the price was a very good deal. I LOVE my refinished floors. And I can barely see where the stains were. Also, his crew have been with him for years and they are all reliable, professional and friendly. I just can't say enough about Ismael, his crew and IR Hardwood Flooring. Just one of those companies that you wish there was a duplicate of for everything you need to fix around the house!
