This is my third visit to Anna's. Each time I visit, my experiences have declined. Sad. Inconsistent experiences is a killer for restaurant. On my first visit we had the grandmother's pizza which was fantastic. I gave them a five star review. On my second visit we once again had the same pizza. It was good BUT not as good as the first visit. While there we heard a guest mention the eggplant parm hero and so, on our third visit we tried one along with an "attempt" at trying a 1/2 meatball and 1/2 sausage hero. I say "attempt" because even though we ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 hero, we received a meatball hero. Unfortunately, it didn't matter as neither hero was very good. The meatball hero lacked flavor and the eggplant hero, although stuffed with a ton of eggplant, left us wanting. Too bad, we do like to support local individually owned restaurants but I believe Anna's has seen us for the last time. read more

Picked up a Chicken Parmasian dinner last night. It was horrible. The sauce was bitter and so thick. I had to throw away the ziti as it was inedible and take 3/4 of the sauce off of the chicken. I have it 4 out of 5 stars because the food is just so damn good. But here is the caveat, you have to order your food at the register and that is just ehhh. You come to restaurants to sit down and have a good meal and it's just kinda weird that you can't have a seat and have someone take your order, having someone come to your table with a smile and greet you would go far imho. This place is definitely above a three star rating and should be in the fours. I'd come here for lunch and get a stuffed know with sauce on the side. A definite go to place which for the palm city/stuart area since pizza places are a dime a dozen. Can it be pricey....well maybe but i guarantee you this you won't feel disappointed with the quality and quantity. They took the pie out of the oven and then put wedges of cold cheese on it! I had to put the pie in MY oven to melt the cheese. Their response: "That is how we do it"!!!NEVER AGAIN. Ordered "the works" pizza whick was described as having pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and black olives.... It came with pepperoni, sausage, onions and mushrooms. There was one green pepper and a few orange and yellow peppers but they were only on half the pizza. For what they are charging they should at least honor their menu. The pizza tastes good but if you're not getting what you paid for what's the point? Update: We were offered a free pizza to make up for the last one and decided to have it tonight. It was really good. We ordered the works again. While it still didn't have meatballs or black olives, it tasted amazing and had so many other toppings the meatballs and olives weren't missed. Been coming to Annas since i was a kid over 20 years when they were cash only. Over the years prices have gone up significantly which i was fine with as the food was worth it. Recently, since multiple locations and growing into a brand, it seems the quality has gone down, still very good, but not what it used to be. My last visit to the palm city location could have been my last. Purchased the Annas Pasta Special tray, now you have to pay EXTRA for any garlic knots or side salad which has been included from the start of Annas with pasta treys. Not only has the price increased from ~$20 to ~35 over the years, but now to nickel and dime the customer has lost my interest in my favorite Italian joint ever. This is not over the money its over the principle. Greed ruins people, the girl who checked my father out admitted we were not the first to have these same complaints. Had high hopes for this place. Food LOOKS amazing. Nice location and great options. Just super sweet and not a great flavor to their pizza. I judge pizza off of their plain cheese and pepperoni. Anna's has always been very good. I still miss the old location, it out the special in their pizza. The one in Palm City, though is much larger and has many more choices in the menu. While I was waiting it looked like they had a guest internet portal , after I asked, however I found out that they didn't, they had to stop its usage because it interacts with their online system?.. but this does not have to do with their food which is excellent. The eggplant parmigiana was very good. The meatballs are very large and very good. The garlic knots are large but were not warm at all. Service is friendly. read more

Well it is the day after my experience at Anna's Pizza at 2281 SW Martin Hwy,Palm City, FL 34990. The reason I include the address is I know there is more than one location. First let me say that the pizza was very good and I would probably get the pizza again, I would just choose the time at which I would go. The rating is not a reflection of the food. We walked in as a group of 4 and sat down at a table to decide what to eat, This was our first time here and we sat in the front of the restaurant and after we had ordered our meal at the counter we were told about an 1/2 hour wait. Not a problem. The order was a Anna's Special Pizza and a Stromboli. They asked if I wanted the Stromboli now or with the pizza we chose to all eat together. After about 2 minutes one of our who had ordered the Stromboli decided that hr wanted one of the specials, a slice of cheese pizza and knot and a Beer. I went to the counter and changed that order. There was a little confusion at that point but my request was greeted with a smile, we still wanted to eat together. The slice of pizza and the knot just needed to be heated up in the oven. In the meantime we decided to move to the back of the restaurant because the heat in the front was too much for someone in the group. It was hot but not overbearing. The Pizza finally came out in about the time promised and we were told that the slice would be out soon when we inquired when they delivered the pizza. After about 5 minutes I had eaten one slice of pizza I walked up to the counter and inquired about the slice and knot, again I was told it would be soon. Now after we had finished our meal we were still waiting for the slice and the knot. Again I walked to the counter and asked again. I saw the crew take a slice of pizza out of the oven that had burned.They had obviously forgotten about the slice of pizza and had burned it. Another person threw another slice in the oven as I was asking to just cancel the order now that we were ready to leave. The boss as I learned later started yelling about my request, " we are busy back here," " go somewhere else." The time to heat a slice of pizza was about 30 seconds and they put it in a to-go box and gave it to me. Now if I had been yelling at them about the order I could understand their frustration with me, but I am 59 years old and have had a lot of experience in my life including working in a pizza joint on a Friday night. I know it is hot back there and trying to keep up and keep people happy is very difficult. I have become frustrated at times and understand the feeling of wanting to say something that you should not say. It is not worth getting angry and yelling at people so I can say with certainty that I was not loud or angry when I was making my inquires about our food and if I were, my wife, who is very concerned with others feelings would have told me that I was wrong, but in this case she was concerned with how someone treated me. We ended up taking the slice and knot home so the person that did not get his meal could eat at a later time. Again the Pizza was delicious and it is hard to find good pizza in Florida when you are from the Northeast so it is very likely that I will try Anna's Pizza again, maybe this time the one at 150 NE Dixie Hwy Stuart, FL 34994 or 338 SW Port St Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. read more

I really like their pizza and calzones. But dang, they charge a premium and then mess up my order. We ordered pickup and the order wasn't completely ready even though I received a text saying so. So now we have to wait an extra 25 minutes for them to correct their error and we get no comp. We ordered pizza because we wanted dinner easy and fast. Thanks for screwing that up!
