Chicago hotdog I liked it better than dine dog and no screaming kids

Took my hubby last night he's never been here and I told him I liked this place..I had meatballs they were like warm, when hot they r delish. He had meatball sub "it was ok" as for wine there were no prices on menu.. his fault I would have asked but 7.5 $ and he said it's normal to be 3 fingers this was two fingers and he wasn't happy about such a small amount for 7.5$. With the 10,50 sub which was fine, server asked fries or chips.. he asked what else can I have she said fries or chips. I said what else if you can't eat that if you have diabetes? She said you wouldn't be eating a meatball sub if you had diabetes. I was thinking little snip! Anyway took the chips to give to homeless. Then we get the check we asked for from another server cute sweet blonde. I told her disappointed nothing else offered with sub he wouldn't eat potato anything. She said you could have had salad and seemed surprised it wasn't offered. Anyway the blonde was lovely the other gal is the reason he said he will never go back as well as bad wine pour. I think lunch was very good for me dinner time not so much

Their version of a "Italian Beef." (Half of sandwich...hardly even a meal, at least for me.)

An absolute disgrace with respect to passing themselves off as a Chicago restaurant. When I first moved here some years ago, the owners were actually from Chicago. I went there a lot, got to know them. Food was authentic, the real deal. It has changed hands several times over the years, and the food has suffered as a result. It's obvious the current owners have likely never even been to the Chicago area. They need to take the word "Chicago" out of their name. What they now offer is not representative of good Chicago food...not even close. Like too much of the food in this area, it's just bland (why I rarely eat out here anymore). Their only connection to Chicago is the decor...remnants from the original owners. I gave up on their pizza years ago; mediocre in contrast to a real Windy City tavern pizza. I recently got a hot dog and what they pass off for an "Italian Beef." Hot dog *not* Vienna (unless you ask for one...not the case in the past), not on a sesame seed bun and served with a lousy jar type pickle instead of relish. For $10 the "Beef" is a disaster. Only a few small pieces of tasteless rawhide (see photo). Worst I've ever had anywhere. Mind you, I stopped by in mid afternoon (in mid Sept), and they only had one other customer...so they were not so busy they didn't have time to do it right. When they *are* busy, service can be lousy, too. They have no business passing themselves off as a Chicago restaurant. They need to change the name and move on.

First time trying Chicago Tavern Style Pizza! Really lovely restaurant that makes you feel at home right away with both indoor and outside seating. I can't say enough about the lovely ladies working there as the customer service was so warm, welcoming and attentive. Really a special place to check out if you're in the area. Will say the sauce is on the sweeter side so be forewarned if that's not your thing but everything was fresh and clearly made with love.

The Chicago dog and what's left of the fries.

We love Pusateri's. It has the best Chicago dogs. We prefer the natural casing and there aren't many places that serve it. The fries are great. We don't have to ask to have them crispy because they come that way. We had a small pepperoni pizza after the hot dogs because we were still hungry. Their pizzas are great. I love their tomato sauce because it doesn't have the usual tomato taste. It has a sweetness to it. The antipasto salad has a lot of meat and cheese. When we brought our kids and grandkids there a while ago there was plenty of salad to share along with our meal. The Italian beef sandwich is very good. It's the same as their restaurant in Chicago. Service is fast and the servers are friendly.

The Signature Sausage Pizza

Wow was I shocked. My husband and I are from Fort Lauderdale originally and you could say we are pizza snobs. We have tried it all. This was such a pleasant surprise. Such a unique pizza!!! It was absolutely delicious. The cheese, the sauce, the crust, the sausage. It was like no pizza we've tried before. Definitely recommend. The atmosphere was relaxing and just what we needed. Under a tiki hut with fans blowing & Jimmy Buffet music. What a perfect night. We would travel 30 minutes to get some pizza here again soon. Our waitress was Elise and she was incredible. Knowledgeable, personable, and her timing on everything was exactly what I want. She's always right there when you need her but not hovering. I was just expecting a regular pizza place experience and was very surprised. I'm leaving happy and full

Coming from a Chicago native- I was visiting a friend in the area and she told me about this place. NO place ever outside of Chicago has impressed me that attempts to advertise Chicago pizza. My friends THIS IS IT. literally tastes exactly like Aurelio's from back home- crust, sauce, cheese absolutely perfect. I honestly couldn't believe it, but I had two fantastic days of perfect pizza and can't wait for my friend to visit me to bring me another pie!

Leftovers were awesome too!!!

Cute little pizza place in Stewart. I went with my south chicago friend and she claims it is closest to chicago pizza she's had. Plenty of sausage and cheese!!!Service was very good and fast. Next time we go I gotta try the chicago hot dog that looked pretty good!!!

I only gave my husband one bite and the mussels were too die for! We came back 8 months later and the mussels are still on point the crab and corn fritters aren't fritters they aren't all bread. They're more like fried crab cake balls and the tartar sauce is superb! My husband this time got the scampi shrimp of course .he is not a pasta person. He absolutely loved it. My vodka parm was also very good. ( I never get anyone's because I make it every Christmas Eve for 40 people and mine to me is hard to beat) my husband is less bias and loves the parm. This place is a gem that needs more attention! Their drinks are spectacular also great wait staff and owner is super interactive!

Mai Tiki is in Stuart, right by the Colorado Avenue Park. It's a medium size outdoor restaurant,…read moreattached to the Old Colorado Inn. It features a large bar and many top tables. There is no AC, it feels like you are in an outdoor tropical garden with a Tiki. The menu is limited, farm to table approach. It offers several appetizers and a few entrees. Tropical cocktails. My sister and I once a month meet for lunch, usually go to the other restaurants in the downtown area. This was a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty empty. We decided to try it, since it was new. It's off season for Florida. I like that it's away from traffic and close to the river, but not on the river. We ordered several appetizers, Tuna stack, it was good with toast on the side. I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus. They also have music for dinner. Parking is street. The Tram goes around and it will leave you at this restaurant from the large parking lot. Please note there's a green market on Sunday's so the parking lot is usually full.

The area isn't the nicest, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it. The place is very clean, cozy, and simple. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch. By the way, they have a very interesting menu with Hungarian options, some elevated American variations, and several Italian dishes.
