I read the reviews about the margarita pizza but after looking at the restaurant we wanted to try the pasta as well. We had the Scoglio linguine which is seafood pasta. The fish is so fresh and with of pasta which was cooked perfect. My husband had the pappardelle braised beef short rib ragu. Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommended this place. Listen this is a place to go; considering the options we have in this town. Forget about grilled- broiled or blackened with slaw or fries. This is a real restaurant. We felt like Miami for the first time since we made the mistake of relocating to Jensen Beach. Mistake that we are on doing very soon. Awesome Branzino with frsh vegetables and outstanding wine list. So looking for a nice Sunday evening dinner--PERFECT option!!!! We started with the fried zucchini blossoms- they were delicious, however I prefer a little lighter batter- I tend to order these across the country. The salad was truly amazing- apples delicious, perfect amount of sweet and salad. Entree was a meat special- lamb chops , Italian sausage and flattened meatball with grilled veggies. Went last nite with friends, all enjoyed. Ambiance was quiet Sunday, background music was great, we had lotsa fun conversations and all could hear, no shouting needed. The served complimentary bread which had a bit of salt on the crust, nice! I started with the arugula,beet, fennel salad, it was ok way over dressed w/ too much vinegar, arugula was dead, the beet squares seemed over cooked and not firm. I had the cheese & spinach ravioli with sage butter, yummy. Husb hD the shrimp francese bug shrimp he enjoyed. Others had the veal saltimboca which they enjoyed. Dessert we chose the panacotta which was kept cold too cold so we missed the typical consistency. Others had the gelato which was hard frozen. Maria our server did a great job. Ordered four appetizers: Nonna's meatballs, calamari, ceasar salad, and eggplant. The first three were good but something was seriously wrong with the eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was mushy and not at all hot and was wrapped around a giant ball of soured mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. The waiter was told and did nothing about the matter. A sister restaurant to Pepe and sale. This is a gem of a restaurant. It would be 5 stars if they had liquor not just beer and wine. The pizza is off the hook! The cacio e Pepe is to die for! The grilled octopus was Devine the veal was tender. The beef carpaccio is what you would expect. The squash blossoms were good what you expect. This place is amazing! It was very busy on Friday night, we had a reservation and were seated immediately. There was a very large party already seated and every table around us was filled. I expected service to be slow but everybody was helping everybody and someone was always there to take care of us. Excellent service.We ordered Zucchini Flowers, a salad , Caccio y Pepe, Branzino and Osso Bucco and finished with a cannoli and espresso. The food came out in courses as we asked, for as busy as they were it came out in a normal amount of time. The food was absolutely fantastic!! Every dish was done perfectly and had incredible flavor. Fantastic dinner. The two of us shared an appetizer, a pizza, a pasta entree, a bottle of wine, and dessert, as we wanted to try as many things as possible without overfilling. We started with the Burrata, which is like a caprese salad topped with a burrata cheese ball and prosciutto, which was delicious. Next, we shared a Margherita pizza, which had a wonderful blistered thin crust, San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil. This is authentic Neapolitan pizza served the Italian way. For the next course, we shared a pasta dish, Pappardelle Al Ragu, which is hand-made wide noodles with a meat sauce of beef short ribs. It was wonderful, a new favorite. We saved room for dessert and had both the chocolate souffle, served with vanilla bean gelato, and tiramisu. Both were delicious. Service was impeccable. Our waiter, Diago, was very helpful in helping us choose courses and suggesting how we could maximize the experience. They have a team approach and Diago, or one of his several helpers, were always nearby at just the right time to keep the water full, change out the utensils, and bring the next course when we needed it, but not rushed. The staff was attentive and exceptional led by Diego and Maria. The ambiance hit just right and the host made us feel very comfortable right away as you walked in. What an amazing addition to Stuart!! After living here for 30 yrs I've been bored and unimpressed with local restaurants. This restaurant brought me back to life!! The ambiance, service, and food impeccable. Every bite of our food last night was amazing. Beef carpaccio melt in your mouth, steamed muscles and clams plump and cooked to perfect, white truffle pizza (the dough) my goodness, and finally the star table side cacio de Pepe!!!!! Last Saturday i was having a glass of wine sitting in the restaurant while ordering Pizza and salad to go... I read the menu and started salivating the menu looked so good! A week later, tonight, I came back to dine in and I'm so glad I did! The food was divine! We had the carpaccio to start. It was tender, delicious, the accompanying arugula salad was well dressed. For an entree I had the mixed seafood grill, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My partner had the Ossobuco Ravioli in mushroom and black truffle sauce. Just heavenly. We also had a wonderful bottle of Valpolicella Wine. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. Diego took care of us and was very attentive. We are seasonal and came here several times last season. They changed the name but we still found them. Both the service and food are exceptional. I ordered the veal parm and besides being excellent it was the largest piece of veal I have ever seen. We brought it home and got two more meals from it! I live in Port St. Lucie - not Fair Oaks, TX First Fri night visit for this new highly rated restaurant, My rating may be too high - you'll see in a moment. My Bronx Italian wife and I went with her cousin and wife but coming from opposite directions. We aren't often on that part of that road, and it took two passes to find it in a mostly hidden and poorly marked shopping center. Parking was adequate, full presumably due to being new with high ratings. Lighting could be better in the rear lot. We met the others and got in line to enter. We had reservations. The couple ahead of us left, appearing to be angry, presumably due to not having a reservation. The restaurant was full, except for our table, and we were seated immediately. Hosts and waitstaff were all pleasant and friendly. The decor was very nice, but the noise level was high! Then there was the food. Three stars may be too high. All of the other genuinely good points are wasted if the food is not good (imho). The menu offered Branzino (fish), but it was disappointing in preparation and size. At a small restaurant in a small upstate NY town and at a restaurant in Venice (not a small upstate NY town) I enjoyed this fish wrapped and steamed in foil. Here it was butterflied and broiled (?). My wife said that her linguine with clams was poor quality pasta and not cooked al dente. I on the other hand want pasta cooked (!), just not mushy. Her cousin and wife sent their food back because it was cold, possibly due to it's being so very busy. Their octopus was omitted as requested. They had sides of spaghetti with a red sauce. The color and texture of the red sauce reminded me of Chef Boyardee - at least it wasn't ketchup (lol). Panna cotta desert was good. Caesar salad was good with a decent Caesar dressing - though it was not made tableside from fresh ingredients as it was at Monteverde at Oldstone (before the owners retired) located on "the goat path", NY 9A between Annsville Circle and the Bear Mountain Bridge. Ah . . . to long for. Many places are fast burners; they start well and then go downhill. Not Piatto Divino! Such a shame. Where's Gordon Ramsay when you need him ? ! ? ! read more
