My friends and I have stayed away from here due to rude staff, riff raff, fights, etc. in the last several years. We decided to give them a try a week ago as we were assured by another patron that it was under new ownership. The new owners supposedly cleaned house and removed all the previous troublesome staff. Everything seemed to have improved from our visit here a week ago, but that's because Michelle was not there. We had zero issues with the staff that day, we were served without issue, and overall we thought the renovations were an improvement. The prices have gone up but they have added premium beverages to their selection. Unfortunately, Michelle was not included in the staff overhaul, and mistreated my friend during a recent visit. It is a real shame that The Cordial Inn continues to have problem bartenders, because this place *used* to be a gem. It's now a far cry from cordial. The interior renovations are not worth it for any of us to tolerate disrespectful behavior from bar staff. I am beyond offended that the new owners allow the bar staff to treat customers badly. There are plenty of other choices in the area, and my choice is to spend my money where the staff appreciate my money and patronage.

The food is excellent and you wont find anything like it in the immediate area. It is New Orleans style food, things like Po'boy, etouffee, jambalaya, fried seafood and seafood boils.They even have beignets! My husband had the etouffee which he said was delicious. The shrimp Po-boy was excellent. Very crispy and the right amount of heat. The server was very helpful and attentive. The Nutella beignets were wonderful! I hope this restaurant establishes its own Yelp page and gets their own reviews. Unfortunately it is kind of confusing as there is no signage identifying it as a new place with a new menu. It really looks like just a slots place and the parking is confusing because there are two lots adjacent to the building that are not for this place for some reason. They were both empty. Beers are the main thing of course. It's got a pretty surprising amount to choose from. There's a lot of these on tap. More in cans. Pretty great variety. A lot are IPAs but there's a few others. It's about $8 a pint. Kind of a lot but they make smaller batches of these. Best one we had of these was the Hazy In The Name Of. This is a New England Hazy IPA, a classic style. Made with citrone and nectaron hops. There's notes of citrus, lime, passionfruit, and peach. Has a few things to munch on. It's about $7 for the Knotty Pretzels. Comes in a big bag. These are a great combination and big enough for sharing. For sure there's lots of great beers. It's actually open daily which is especially rare for a brewery to be honest. Well, it's an old school bowling alley. I bowled as a kid, and if I hadn't driven here myself, I could have assumed I was back in the bowling alley of my youth. Wood paneling. A glassed off bar area - that still appears to have the smoke stains of a time when indoor smoking was allowed, some arcade style games. The lanes had modern electronic/automated scoring, and everything seemed to work well. It didn't feel "clean", but it's a bowling alley. The only thing that bumped this to a 4 star was the food. Admittedly upon arrival, I assumed I wouldn't be eating there. But the regulars raved about their tacos. $3.50 each with four different fillings, I gave some a try. And they were very good. Had to get my beverage at the bar though - which meant I had to pay twice. But if you like bowling, give it a shot
